Awesome dealership and customer service from start to finish. I found Koons Arlington while looking for a new vehicle online and negotiated a great price with Ermek. Throughout the process, everything finish. I found Koons Arlington while looking for a new vehicle online and negotiated a great price with Ermek. Throughout the process, everything was straight forward with all details fully explained and when we got to the dealership to complete the transaction everything went smoothly and efficiently. We drove all the way from North Carolina in order to get the vehicle we wanted at a great price. Thanks again for all the great service! More
My wife and I were looking for a very specific Toyota Camry model and in searching all Toyota dealerships fairly close to where we live, we found it on the Koons website. While we thought that the vehic Camry model and in searching all Toyota dealerships fairly close to where we live, we found it on the Koons website. While we thought that the vehicle was located at Koons Tysons location (the Koons website is very misleading), where we had purchased two previous Camry's, we discovered that the vehicle was in transit to Koons Arlington location. Since we really wanted that specific vehicle, we spoke with Haythem who told us that we could come in, complete the paperwork, not put a penny down, take the car for a test drive when it arrived to their dealership (he even offered to have the car delivered to us), and to give us a loaner until the car arrived. When we arrived at Koons Arlington, Haythem turned us over to Tache, who was a very pleasant person to work with. He completed all of the necessary paperwork that he could do before turning us over to Chetan, to finalize the remainder of the paperwork. While the paperwork with Chetan took a lot longer than my wife had expected, Chetan was very thorough in taking the time to explain everything to us. I have bought many automobiles in the past and I have always looked at those dealings as a very uncomfortable situation. However, as of now, I feel that my purchase of the new Camry from Koons Arlington has definitely been the most comfortable car purchase. More
I still can't believe what a terrible experience I've had with these people. I wish they had more integrity and caution anyone in the market for a used car to steer clear of Koons Arlington. I spent $15,0 with these people. I wish they had more integrity and caution anyone in the market for a used car to steer clear of Koons Arlington. I spent $15,000 on a 2005 Subaru at Koons in March 2012. 6 months later the car is worth $8,000 AFTER spending an additional $4,000 on unanticipated repairs. Koons couldn't care less. Just to recap, that's a 53% depreciation on the original price within 6 months. Nevermind the $4k in repairs... Koons will make it very, very easy for you to purchase, but unless you buy their pricey warranty, you're totally on your own. They do NOT stand by the cars they sell. Ken Eggleston sold me a 2005 Subaru Forrester with 60,000 miles in March of 2012. The transaction took HOURS and I was so anxious to leave, we didn't get to warranty info. Mike Fink was supposed to follow up with me, but he didn't. 30 days after purchase the sunroof motor broke (a $1,500 fix.) When I went back to tell them about the sunroof, Alex Belhadi offered me a $3,500 warranty. Not thinking the TURBO WOULD FAIL 6 MONTHS LATER, I declined. FYI - Replacing a turbo on a Subaru costs $2,500. When I called Ken to tell him what happened, he said to come on by - they might be willing to buy back the car for whatever they appraised it at (significantly less than what I paid) and would gladly sell me another. He said I should buy a Toyota - THAT, they would stand by. Shameful! Subaru was mortified that a Forrester with 60k miles would have a failed turbo - They've offered me a $500 good faith credit. A final thought... I am clearly not a car person. It takes about 30 seconds of conversation for that to be clear. A knowledgeable sales person would have advised me against buying this car (or any turbo), regardless of the condition of the car. For those who are not savvy or interested in knowing alot about cars, you may wish to buy at another dealer where you'll get better attention and counsel. More
There was a car there that was a great price and good mileage. I decided to move forward with this car. So I was put in contact with Ken Eggleston and he helped me throughout the process of purchasing th mileage. I decided to move forward with this car. So I was put in contact with Ken Eggleston and he helped me throughout the process of purchasing this car. I was not from Arlington Va, so Ken did deliver my vehicle to me personally. Which at that time I thought was great and really was appreciative of that. Then a few days later I had some issues that I needed to be looked at, so of course my car had to go back down to Va to get looked at because I just recently purchased it earlier that week. They sent a service guy up to pick up my car and bring me a loaner car until my car was fixed. I let the service guy hear the noise that I was having with the car and gave them a list of other problems that I needed to be fixed. They brought the car back saying that everything was fixed, well the noise that I heared was not fixed and when I called down there, they stated no one could hear this noise. I told them the guy that picked my car up heared the noise because i made sure he knew what I was talking about. So they wanted to pick my car back up, I decided no, per Ken I should wait til I got my extended warranty in the mail and take it to a dealership in my state. When Ken delivered my car he said that he was going to get the car manual and my spare key fedex to me once it came in. I brought my car in August and it is now October and I have yet recieved my car manual or a call from Ken letting me know why it was taking so long. My mom called him asking about it and he said that it takes a while from where they ordered the book from and that my car did not come with a spare key, so now I have to go purchase another key because I only have one key. So I did not hear from Ken or anyone else after that. I would call Ken and leave messages and he would not return no phone calls or no messages. I would always have to call him again. I called him on the 16th of Oct and he said that he would call me in 30mins once he goes find out whatis going on with the manual..and of course no phone call or anything the next day. So I got to the point where I got tired of dealing with Ken because now that they have my money, its like that excellent customer service I was receiving before I gave them my money had stopped and so did the phone calls. So I spoke with Al the manager of the used car sales and told him how dissapointed and unsatisfied I was with the service I was getting from this car dealer. He said he would look into it and give me a call back. And Al called me back less than 30 mins saying that he order the manual his self and it should be there within a couple of days and he will call me once it gets in to verify my information so that he can have it fedex to me. Now to me that means that the manual was never ordered like I was told it was and if the manual comes to that dealership and to me less than a week that means someone was lying to me and dropped the ball thinking I was going to forget that I do not have a manual to my car that I purchased 2 months ago. I was at first going to recommend people to Ken because his customer service was excellent, but now that the customer service went down hill and everything else, I would not recommend anyone that is out of state to deal or go thru what I went thru after purchasing a vehicle from them. Ty Yamani was a disaster: rude, arrogant, impatient, aggressive and he gave me false information about pricing. After ten minutes of trying to deal with him, my wife and I gave up in disgust and walked aggressive and he gave me false information about pricing. After ten minutes of trying to deal with him, my wife and I gave up in disgust and walked out. In the parking lot, Alladdin Laarissi chased after us and persuaded us to come back into the dealerhsip. From then on, our experience got a lot better. We found Alladin to be very professional and courteous. I apologized - rightly, as we were owed an apology - for Ty Yamani's behavior. Once we were introduced to Alan Soon, ur buying experience was much more positive. Alan was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. He went out of his way to make our buying experience as pleasant as possible, explained several fatures of the carto us, guided us through the process of setting up Bluetooth to connect to my smart phone. Alan even went out of his way to meet me near my home to fit the tags to my car, ahen they arrived two weeks after the purchase. This saved me a return trip to the dealership. Alan's behavior exhibited exceptional customer service. Alex Belhadi was also very professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. he explained the financial aspects of the transaction to us in clear terms and made the process of completing the voluminous paperwork as painless as possible. Alan Soon was the best sales person I have dealt with, ever! As a retired naval officer in my late 60s, I have purchased many new and used cars in several states on both coasts. Alan made the process ever! As a retired naval officer in my late 60s, I have purchased many new and used cars in several states on both coasts. Alan made the process absolutely painless. There was no rush to select; no pressure to agree on a price; no encouragement to include additional options. I had visited another Toyota dealer in the area, a dealer from whom I had purchased a new Avalon some years ago. I was surprised at their seeming disinterest or inability to answer my basic questions. On the recommendation of a friend, I visited Alan at Koons Arlington Toyota. Every employee I spoke with was not only courteous but eager to help. A few hours later, I had exactly what I wanted and left happy. It was a few days later when I discovered that Alan, as the Internet Sales Facilitator, would not receive the commission for my purchase. That commission would be provided to the salesman who initially responded to my online inquiry, Bruno Garcia. Bruno was helpful as well. Alan treated me like a family member -- honest, direct and cordial throughout. Koons Arlington Toyota is to be commended for leading a staff who are cordial, efficient and effective. Alan, with whom I spent the most time, was a standout. More
I was very fortunate in getting excellent service when buying my new RAV4. Oscar, Chris. and Chetan were extremely busy when I arrived but made time to give me the information I needed before making the d buying my new RAV4. We drove 2 hours to look at a Lexus RX350 that had a clean carfax only to find out the information was inaccurate. The car was in an accident and previous stolen. None of which was reported on carfax an clean carfax only to find out the information was inaccurate. The car was in an accident and previous stolen. None of which was reported on carfax and the salesperson denied it until several flaws and red flags were noted during intial test drive at which point our concerns were confirmed. I would give the sales kid the benefit of the doubt as he seemed surprised too but otherwise shady dudes with junk cars from auctions and terrible warranties!!!! More
We recently had to get into another car/minivan due to a car accident. We weren't too thrilled to shop around for anything, but after we saw a minivan that we liked we headed to Koons Arlington Toyota/Scion car accident. We weren't too thrilled to shop around for anything, but after we saw a minivan that we liked we headed to Koons Arlington Toyota/Scion in Arlington, VA. Henry Garcia came to greet us and introduced himself. He showed us the minivan and it was exactly as the pictures online. Same amount of miles and just perfect. We told Henry we were going to go look at other vehicles in the area before we made our decision. He gave us his card and told us that he would be there until the evening. Henry was not pushy or rude, he simply told us that the minivan was well priced and it was a great deal for a fully loaded one. After we did our complete search we had to come back, just because Henry had treated us better than any of the other sales people we encountered that afternoon at other dealerships. The vehicle was priced right at the blue book value and negotiating the price wasn't an issue. The paperwork was completed and he passed it onto Ali Zaka, from Finance & Insurance. Mr. Zaka worked his magic and found us a great bank that worked with our financial situation and was very thorough. He came out and explained every step that he was taking to get us on our way with the minivan. Soon after we were ready to sign the paperwork and Henry took the minivan for a final cleanup and got it ready for us while Mr. Zaka finished our paperwork. I am recommending Henry Garcia and Ali Zaka of Koons Arlington Toyota/Scion to anyone who is looking to get great customer service! More
