Falsified Documents Kool Chevrolet sold me a “Certified pre-owned” Chevy Volt with a certified inspection sheet showing no repairs to any body panels and a clean Carfax r Kool Chevrolet sold me a “Certified pre-owned” Chevy Volt with a certified inspection sheet showing no repairs to any body panels and a clean Carfax report showing no reported accidents/damage. The day after purchase I waxed my new car to find the rear bumper cover had been poorly and only partially re-painted with overspray on the tail-light and a small dent in the lower bumper cover. I confirmed it had to be Kool Chevrolet to do the poor repair by contact the dealership that took back the leased car and the auto auction that sold the car to Kool Chevrolet. No damage was reported on the post-lease inspection either. Kool Chevrolet sold me a “Certified pre-owned” under false pretenses and when I contacted them about properly painting the rear bumper cover, they told me to take a hike. Re-painting the rear bumper cover will cost me an extra $614.52 due to the tri-coat paint job. Not to even mention what else they potentially lied about… More

They said it was good at any Ch When I bought my 2014 impala, I was told I had a certified service plan for 2 years for tire rotation and oil changes. They said it was good at any Chevy dealer. When I brought my car in for the free tire rotation I chose a Chevy location near my house (different city) they told me the charge was 19.95 and that they had no record of any certified service, and that I would need to bring the car back to the original dealer where I purchased it to receive any service for free. I never would have bought the car in a different city if I knew this ahead of time. It was a huge decision factor for me that I could bring the car to ANY Chevy dealer, but now I am forced to take days off work and drive to the original dealer to get the free service. Cheaper to pay for the oil changes and tire rotation locally. Someone lied to me but I don't know which dealer, bottom line don't trust anything they say. They will tell you anything they can to get you to buy the car and then you are stuck with it. It rattles all the way out of my driveway (heat shields) before the 36,000 mile warranty expires. I brought to the original dealer for repair and they said it does not need any repairs thank you. I said what about the rattling noise coming from the muffler (this is a 2014 Chevy Impala) and he said he couldn't hear anything we'll have your car out to you in a minute all done thank you. WARRANTY??? CERTIFIED SERVICE???? Not at KOOL Chevrolet. They can't hear you, complain all you want. More
I had an oil change done at Kool. Two thousand miles into my six thousand mile oil change I noticed oil spots under my truck. Oil filter was not even hand tight.Tried filter at hand tight and it leaked. Trie my six thousand mile oil change I noticed oil spots under my truck. Oil filter was not even hand tight.Tried filter at hand tight and it leaked. Tried filter after snugging with a wrench and still leaked. I purchased more oil to replace the 2.5 quarts i had lost from the filter leak. I bought a new filter with the good intentions of just replacing their bad filter. When I removed the kool chevrolet filter the oil that came out looked black as tar. I called kool and talked to service consultant stacey. I explained the filter problem and the fact that the oil was not changed by the looks and condition of it. I was told the engine would be flushed (my request) and oil changed and then gone over by a service tech. Kool called me the next day and said my truck was done and they they had just changed the oil.I argued that the oil was so bad that I really wanted the engine flushed.... My response was ,"Mike who did you take your car to after us as it is not our oil filter on the truck" Uh duh...I was gonig to just repalce the filter at my cost until I saw the condition and color of the oil thats when I called you with my concerns. By the way. The filter was from meijers in jenison. Good job of accusing your customer!!!! I then talked to the service manager who kept telling me the oil in the filter is always dirtier than the oil in the pan.....Good one...It was like black tar on the dipstick also...so by your logic it would be black on the dipstick and in the filter but the rest of the oil should be clean? I have never seen full synthetic oil in tar black color. Kool made several errors when dealing with me. I spent thirty some thousand at Kool.... guess that didn't mean much to them. You could have kept my business with some real simple steps...Way to blow it! sincerily, Mike Schrotenboer More
