There is a person named Saiful who appears to be running the show. He is unethical, dishonest, and overall, very sleazy. We had a very bad experiencing purchasing a car there. I went to a couple of other Mazda dealerships but the personnels at Koeppel Mazda were very friendly and had an outstanding devotion to their customers. I was looking around for the best price on my mazda 3 and the salesmen at Koeppel were very easy to deal with, they weren't pushy at all. explaining me the different financial options and were very easy to agree with on the price and offered me the best deal. Gianfranco was my salesperso. he was very patient and respectful with all of my questions. Saiful the sales manager, came to greet me and thanked me for my business. I love my Mazda3 and the people at Koeppel madethis experience very satisfactory and I would totally recommend the dealership, they even gave me the vehicle with a full tank of gas ,a free service appointment, and a gift bag. We made the mistake of going in a time crunch (we were overtired and needed a new car to leave on a vacation!). Our salesman, Francisco, unfortunately for us, left us waiting around most of the day and ended up telling us one thing and doing another. He folded the paperwork, and distracted us while we signed it, in such a way that we did not realize we were being hoodwinked. We feel foolish to allow ourselves to be tricked into paying a higher price than the "Internet" price we were emailed about by this dealership. We were also assured by a very confident Francisco that he could and would get us another half point off the interest financing. He assured he would have the interest rate lowered at the time we signed the agreement which he never countersigned. We actually thought he would send us a revised and corrected agreement after we left with the car to go on vacation. Sadly for us, ethics, honest professional behavior, and valuing long-term customer relationships is not what we found at this Mazda dealership. The service department was the same way. Don't assume they perform the services as promised. In a minor, but telling, example, they did not even refill the fluids a standard part of the "check-up". I also had to make a second trip there two days later because there were problems with all four tires! More
Let me tell you before walking into Koeppel my sister and I went to another dealership, we told the sales associate what we were looking for and what we were willing to spend. Lets put it this way he didn't I went to another dealership, we told the sales associate what we were looking for and what we were willing to spend. Lets put it this way he didn't even want to give us the time a day a total of 5 minutes was spent in and out. We then went into the Koeppel dealership and we were introduced to Luis Espinal he took the time to listen and work with us on helping to find what we were looking for. We didn't make a purchase at this time because the SUV we were intereted in was sold off the other lot. He will be keeping an eye out for us and will be calling me when something comes in. More
Jim Mendez was very helpful both terminating my current lease and arranging my new one. He did not pressure me to take a car he had. Instead he encouraged me to wait for the model, color and features tha lease and arranging my new one. He did not pressure me to take a car he had. This is my 4th Mazda from this dealership. I would not go anywhere else. More
I've been car hunting for weeks now and once I arrived at Koeppel Mazada I fell in love with the cars. Luis was the sales person who helped me out. He is very knowledgeable with cars on the lot. Got there with my daughter to look for Mazda CX-5 2013 and the manager referred me to Louis Espinal, He's just an extraordinary salesman, he worked his butt off to please me, getting the numbers over and and the manager referred me to Louis Espinal, He's just an extraordinary salesman, he worked his butt off to please me, getting the numbers over and over and over again, just to meet where I am. But this is probably my mistake that I didnt look or check my own finances, and I ended up cancelling the deal due to over expense in my part. But I would recommend louis any day to other people, he's phenomenal! More

I actually bought two Mazda 3 cars for my son and daughter. Not only are the cars one of the best I ever drove, they are top rated in safety. I have been to many dealerships over the years and found Koeppel absolutely fantastic and blows away all other dealerships. Jim and Nelson are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, I would recommend Jim without any reservation. I live on Long Island (Suffolk County) and visited numerous car dealerships on the Island and Queens and no other dealerships came close to level of professionalism. More
I needed a fast replacement for a car that was totaled. We went to the dealership at approximately 5:45pm on a Tuesday. We dealt with Jim. He showed us the cars we wanted to see and we ended up being interested in one. We explained several times that we were in a rush and were interested in driving the car off the lot the next day. Jim made it clear that pending the credit approval that wouldn't be a problem. We put $200 down to hold the car. We were told we'd hear back early in the afternoon Wednesday. 24 hours later after several attempts to call the dealership we still had not heard anything. Given our situation we went to another dealership Wednesday evening, received fantastic service and decided to purchase a car there. When we got home that night we had received an e-mail (not phone call) from Jim stating he had to take the day off and that our credit was still pending. That led us to believe that despite our desire for speed, the credit application had never been submitted. When we went to the dealership Thursday to get our deposit back both Jim and Francisco were very rude and clearly bitter that they lost the sale. Had Jim called us, instead of e-mailing us it would have kept us from going to the other dealership and they'd probably still have the sale. Lesson learned. If people want to spend a lot of money, fast you don't leave them hanging. More
