Theives My Hyundai was towed in and broken. They took two days to even check what was wrong. And by the time they checked the car and they needed to order par My Hyundai was towed in and broken. By the time parts came and was installed something else was the cause of first problem. A week and half later they ordered second part just before the weekend again did not receive part till the next week. By the time my car. Was repaired it had been 2 weeks!!! Was called and told car was ready. Went to pick up only to find the car dirtier than I left it. And to ad insult to injury my IPHONE CHARGER CORD was stolen!! REALLY!!! You need it more than I do WHO EVER STOLE IT!!! Never again More
Their service department is TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BAD!!! save yourself time and money and go to a different dealer if you need service on your Hyundai, I made an appointment to install rain guards (which I save yourself time and money and go to a different dealer if you need service on your Hyundai, I made an appointment to install rain guards (which I purchased) on my Genesis which should take about 30 minutes to complete, my appointment was for 10:30, I show up and give my information to Kevin who said that it should be done in about an hour max 2 hours, I said I can't wait 2 hours I'll go to work in Brooklyn and please call me once it's ready and I'll pick it up, he said they are only open today till 4:30 so I should come before that, I said ok call me once it's ready I'll come right away, so according to him it should're been ready by latest 12:30 -1:00, at 3:15 I haven't received any calls, I called Kevin only to find out it's not done yet and that they are working on it right now, it will be done by 4:00-4:30, I should be there before 4:30 because after that they are closed, I show up at 4:30 and wait for Kevin 15 minutes finally he shows up and the manager comes telling me it's not done yet and will only be done later tonight, I said but I need my car now, he says I'm sorry but it can not be done, so I told Kevin bring me my car and let me get the xxxx out of here, he went to bring my car only to come back that they are working on it right now and will be done in 10 minutes, after waiting another 25 minutes he brings me the car and of course it's NOT done because he thought he can do it in 10 minutes but it will actually take an hour, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, meanwhile I'm out over $50 for Uber back and forth from work and 3 hours travel and waiting time and I still the job that should only take 30 minutes is still not done (remember I made an appointment for this for 10:30 I didn't just walk in) and I have to go to another dealer to get it installed, SAVE YOUR SELF TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT USE THEM FOR SERVICE!!! More
All of the people involved were very helpful and contacted when they said they would and did everything they could to help....I would definiately go back there. The worst service and the worst experience I have had I was warned by a lots of friends before not to lease with this dealer but unfortunately did not take it seriously until today. I am leasing a car with this dealer for 2&1/2 yrs. my car broke Monday afternoon1/18/2016. We called them Tuesday at 9am they said they will come and pick up the car withing 1 hour. An hour later nobody showed up we called again they said same thing we kept calling again and again and they kept lying.again and again waiting in the cold weather. Until 1:30pm we had to leave because I had a very important appointment with my surgeon. Next day we called again and we schedule an other appointment to pick up the car for 4:30pm. The tow truck came late of course even though I called two hours before the appointment to confirm and told them that I have to pick up my kids from school after 5pm. We took the car to the dealer and here starts the worst part. The manager or the supervisor a blond woman decided she won't take the car. They were open until seven pm but she said it's late and they don't take evening delivery. one of their mechanic was surprised of their behavior and told me what they did is not fair. They were around five employee at the service area and 4 mechanics walking around trying to figurout what to do all these employees couldn't do anything my kids were still at school 5:55pm Nobody cared. The blond lady in charge of the service area alsmot hit me on the face and that is when I called 911 the police came and gave me the legal advice and were very supportive and helpful. The bad management I have never seen at any store that is representing/ selling for a big company like Hyundai. Wherever you see bad management never expect good employees and of course a good customer service. My car still parked in the street and of course they will not give you a replacement car even though they do promise that The day you signe the lease. We pay our bills on time and we deserve a good customer service. From the bottom of my Heart I will tell you do not go to that dealer go to the one in Bayside or the one in Manhattan specially if you have kids and don't want to go through what I went through these tree days. By the way the car I am leasing 2013 veloster is new car mileage as of today is 10000 in 2 .1/2 yr and the transmission is broken already. I will never lease from these dealer especially and will never lease or buy a Hyundai cars in general. To whom it may concern, Thank you, More

The Service Manager Jay Strassberg got me past some rough spots and generally made my service visits as painless as possible, he had a great attitude and professionalism. Today I took my 2007 Hyundai Elantra for service and came out with a brand new 2013 Elantra. I'm so happy this is my first brand new car. I never thought I could get a brand new car. Right now I'm going thre out with a brand new 2013 Elantra. I'm so happy this is my first brand new car. I never thought I could get a brand new car. Right now I'm going threw a difficult time with my mother, Battling cancer and this day and experience at Long Island city Hyundai made my day. Everyone was so nice to me and very helpful.
