We bought our New 2010 Vetta TDI from Gilboy. The reason is they were the only dealer in the NE with this type of unit,color interior etc. The second or third week we had the v reason is they were the only dealer in the NE with this type of unit,color interior etc. The second or third week we had the vehicle the radio screen turned white. We called Gilkboy and they said there was no others with this white screen problem. They said our vehicle check was to take place soon and they would xx it out when in the shop for the 30 min go over. We got to the Dealership at 8am and when we left AT 11:45 we were pissed,not only was the work not done they said they didnt see the screen turn white and therefore couldnt do anything else for us. We called Young for a second opinion and spoke with Tony VW Service mgr. He said not a problem could you bring it over right now THE SAME DAY this time at 6:30pm. We dropped it off and came back at the time Tony and John told us to , approx 8:00. When we got back Tony said he researched the white screen and found a VW bulliten which came out 4 days prior to our visit with Gilboy. It said there was a problem with the radio and if it went white it was to be replaced. Tony had already ordered the radio and when we dropped it off approx 6 days later it was installed and it has worked Great. My Question to Gilboy WHY COULDNT YOU RESEARCH THE PROBLEM CAREFULLY AND FIND THE SAME VW SERVICE BULLITIN THAT TONY FROM YOUNGS DID?? Tony and John at Young Vw are the Best More
Fabulous dealership! They are very kind and accommodating to the customer. The problem was fixed with ease and courtesy was always extended. John Rodriguez is simply the best service professional that I have ever interacted with over a lifetime of owning cars. Cliff was a pleasure from start to finish. He was very helpful in trying to understand what I wanted rather than just pushing a car on me. He was supposed to leave at 6:00 and he stayed until 8:30 to help me with my purchase. I was so fickled and he was very patient! We didn't meet the deadlines for the banker's to approve my credit, but Cliff called me by 10 am the next day with the fantastic news! I got there at 12:30 and the car was cleaned, sparkling and ready to roll! We only had paper left and off I drove with my new wheels that I absolutely love! THANK YOU Cliff Walker! The price was great, and the help I received from Joe, Dylan the finance person, and the manager, (I'm sorry, but I forget his name) was fantastic. We actually brought this vehicle in for the courtesy vehicle check much sooner than it was supposed to be done as a misunderstanding. Young VW not only did the service anyway, at no charge, but also ask vehicle check much sooner than it was supposed to be done as a misunderstanding. Young VW not only did the service anyway, at no charge, but also asked us to return the vehicle at the proper time to repeat the process at no charge. This is one of the reasons I came back to Young's for my third vehicle purchase. More
