** BEWARE OF KNIGHT CLAREMONT CDJR** On October 25, 2025, I traded in my 2020 Dodge Challenger (Blue with a Black Stripe in the center for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ. Reason for my change is b 2025, I traded in my 2020 Dodge Challenger (Blue with a Black Stripe in the center for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ. Reason for my change is because I have military orders and needed a truck to be able to move certain things out of where I'm currently at. When we had everything done for paper work, I was gonna drive the truck out of the lot but saw that the AC unit was blowing hot air when it was on the cold setting. I let them know and told me that it would take 2 days for since they had to fix it. When the 2 days have passed the AC was working fine and blowing cold air. When 2 weeks pass by since I started driving it and the AC started blowing hot air when on the cold setting, the screen in the center moves and clicks apps on its own, and the steering wheel pulls to the right when you drive. All in all in the beginning this place has been very professional and kind but when I call a manager (Danny) to get this fixed, they don't respond to any messages or calls that I send. I understand that they are busy but it's crazy how you guys sold me a truck that has issues and they were not specified in the paperwork. Even here on yelp the manager Patrick responds to the reviews and leaves his phone number and extension but doesn't respond either. As a United States Marine, we here keep each other accountable and this is what this yelp review is. I'm here to keep the managers accountable for the actions that they don't take and seem to just be there and get money from the people and don't help at all. I have been waiting patiently and tried to be professional about the situation but it seems like they are "BUSY" to help out. How is it that I have a truck for only 2 weeks and all of a sudden everything is going bad with it? This is my first time ever writing a review on a place since I'm really not the type of person to do this but there is no leadership here that would help anyone out. As of now I'am currently speaking to legal services on Camp Pendleton base to see the options of this matter since the dealership doesn't seem to help out at all. I don't know how it was certified pre owned with all the issues. Maybe mechanics being lazy since they don't want to work and managers not keeping their employees accountable for the situations that happen. More
Absolutely horrendous purchasing experience and non existent customer service post sale. My biggest regret is not walking out and buying from any other Jeep dealership in Southern California. This dealership owes me a refund for a warranty cancellation and after numerous calls, emails and voicemails I can’t get in touch with anyone to advise me on the status (it’s been 6 weeks) and will likely have to pursue this in claims court. Once we started discussing numbers, the price suddenly jumped to over $41,000 before taxes, after adding various “fees” and “dealer charges.” When I asked for a written quote, especially since I’m in Houston and they’re in California, he refused to provide anything in writing and insisted I commit to buy first — before even confirming the actual price. This kind of behavior feels misleading and unprofessional, and it completely destroyed my trust in this dealership. If you’re shopping from out of state, be very cautious — the price they advertise is not what you’ll actually pay. More

I found the car that we wanted online at Knight Claremont Dodge. I called and contacted Ada, who was very pleasant to deal with . She gathered the needed information and put us in contact with Tony in sales. After a little back and forth on text, Tony sent me an offer sheet that was acceptable to my wife and I. The process was extremely easy and absent of any pressure tactics. We drove to the dealership and met with Tony, who had the vehicle ready, prepped and filled with gas. While there, the Sales Manager, Adison, came up to us and introduced himself. He was very friendly and personable. Tony introduced us to Alex in finance, who had the contract and paperwork already to go. Alex was also no pressure and did not try to “upsell” us on unneeded add ons. Before leaving, Tony explained all the features on the vehicle and ensured my wife and I were comfortable with its operation. Our experience with this dealership from start to finish was wonderful. The people we met there were professional and easy to deal with. We will definitely be coming back to this dealership in the future and I will recommend this dealership to our friends and family.
