It was over 80 years ago when, Karl Knauz the father of the current chairman, Bill Knauz, created the dealership that would bear his name for generations to come. Karl Knauz after years of being a chauffeur opened a gas station in Lake Forest. Did he imagine that this modest beginning would come to be one of the most recognized dealerships in the country. The franchises they have now, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Hyundai, smart have put their trust in the Knauz family, (with Mercedes-Benz going all the way back to 1959). They have weathered the good times and the bad, and done so by taking care of customer's using 'The Golden Rule".

Love this dealership! We purchased a new 2016 GLC from Knauz last month. Paul Kim was our sales associate. Loved the personal attention Paul gave us, he was so easy to work We purchased a new 2016 GLC from Knauz last month. Paul Kim was our sales associate. Loved the personal attention Paul gave us, he was so easy to work with. I have been bringing my car in for washes and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Paul even stops to say hi if he sees my car. Sam Greenberg worked with me to understand all the systems in the car and was very patient. I am able to contact him anytime with any questions I might have in the future. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. And have many times already! So pleased! More

Finally a car buying experience worth sharing! These guys are great! I spoke with Sanni and let him know I would be stopping in to see the car. He was busy with another customer when we arrived, bu These guys are great! I spoke with Sanni and let him know I would be stopping in to see the car. He was busy with another customer when we arrived, but he still took the time to make sure we were taken care of until he was freed up. He answered all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable in regards to the features of the vehicle... When I took delivery they again made sure I was familiar with all the options on the vehicle. Definitely coming to Knauz for my next car!!!! More
