I was recently in the market for a vehicle, and I had narrowed down my choices to a 370z and a John Cooper Works spec Mini. I had already test driven the Mini, so I went looking to test drive the Nissan. narrowed down my choices to a 370z and a John Cooper Works spec Mini. I had already test driven the Mini, so I went looking to test drive the Nissan. Feldman Nissan was closes, so I paid them a visit. They treated me well and answered my questions, but they didn't stock the 370 and pointed me to Kline Nissan. Now it's worth mentioning that I'm a younger guy in my early twenties, but I have a good job that gives me the means to pay for a new vehicle. When I got to the dealership, it took me a long time to get any service at all. I caught the eye of several sales workers at their desks (without any customers) but none seemed interested in helping me. After standing around for a while, I went up to one of the salesmen to ask for help. When I said I was interested in test driving a 370, he hesitated and said something about having to go check if there were any in stock. I thought that was odd since there were a pair sitting out front, but I thought maybe they were sold or something. The salesman then went and got his manager. The manager, possibly Jeff, looking through the list, came out, sort of looked me over, then told me that they did not give test drives of the 370 without a down payment on the car first. I have never heard of a policy like that, and I realized that they didn't want to give me a test drive because they didn't trust me. I went into the dealership expecting to try out, and possibly purchase a not inexpensive car, and instead I felt judged and was turned away. This was several months ago, and I have since purchased the Mini from Motorwerks, where I am treated like a customer, not a delinquent. A word of advice to Kline Nissan; profiling your customers is a poor business strategy. More

When you go shopping for a car, the make and model of the car is important as is that good deal that everyone is always looking for. Really what you are looking for is a dealer that you can trust. When I p car is important as is that good deal that everyone is always looking for. Really what you are looking for is a dealer that you can trust. When I purchased my Nissan, Juke, I was as much shopping for a reputable dealer as I was for the car. In fact, I walked into the Kline Nissan showroom already sold on a red, Nissan Juke, I was shopping for a dealer! As a woman, and a teacher, I depend upon my car. I depend upon my dealer to deliver me service in a time manner. If I am not there to teach because I am tied up without a car, it’s not a good thing. So, I needed to feel reasonably assured that any repairs or maintenance could be performed in a timely fashion with no revisits. I purchased my Juke two years ago. My relationship with Kline has been beyond excellent. The work is performed, the service staff are helpful, friendly, they explain all work to be done and tell me the cost upfront. Their showroom is excellent for waiting, wifi is present. The work on my car is usually done earlier than promised. Everyone in the building is helpful and eager to see to my needs. (Right down to a nice coffee bar with some sweets!) My car is returned to me clean and sparkly and I am given a fond farewell. It is in all ways a delight to visit Kline Nissan. My Juke is a fantastic, super, sporty little car and I am glad that I have found a dealer that I can stay with for the long haul. Yes! When it comes time to buy a new car, I can bet you that I will go to Kline Nissan, a dealer whose sales and service employees aim to please! More

Kline Nissan went above and beyond for me again! I was in there for my regular oil change. I do get free oil changes from them for my Rogue. I arrived for my appointment and was informed that I was over in there for my regular oil change. I do get free oil changes from them for my Rogue. I arrived for my appointment and was informed that I was over due for my 60,000 mile required maintenance service.( I was at 65,000 miles) So, my "free oil change" just went from free to $400!! I was prepared for "free" and one hour, not $400 and three hours. I had the money, however I did not have the right card with me to access it. I needed to go home in order to pay for the service. when I asked if he wanted me to reschedule the service, go home and get the card and then come back. Bret said he could help me out by letting me use a car while they had mine, so I could go home, get my card and just be back before they closed that night. I was so grateful, It had taken me two weeks with my schedule at work to get in there for this appointment. Kline Nissan knows how to help their customers. I used their car, went home and got the correct card I needed to pay for the service and finished my errands. I returned to Kline Nissan right as my car was being brought up from being washed. I was so grateful for all Bret did for me, with my work schedule, three hours of my one day off, were productive, rather than wasted sitting getting work done on my car! Thank You!! More

On June 29th I purchased a used 2004 Nissan Armada from Kline Nissan. I had just arrived from a 2 week long trip/training event with the Army. Still in my uniform I came in with my girlfriend to make the purchase as an appointment had already been set while I was out of town. We asked the sales man if the rear lift gate had been repaired like we had asked to have done before we purchased it and he assured us that it was fixed. 3 days after buying the vehicle we noticed that the lift gate was in fact not repaired and we also noticed oily wet spots in my driveway where the vehicle was parked overnight. We called the salesman on the 3rd of July and brought the issues to him. He assured us that if we brought the vehicle in they would take care of the issues. Due to the holiday and a busy work schedule we decided to bring the vehicle in on the 8th of July. The following day the service department got back to me with the diagnosis. A power steering hose, a transmission hose and the rear shocks all needed to be replaced. These repairs total up to nearly $1,000. Although I purchased the extended warrantee, I was informed that the repairs wouldn’t be covered. Kline Nissan came highly recommended to me by a two time customer and I had confidence that they would do the right thing and take care of these issues for me. After all, I have purchased a vehicle a few years ago from Tousley ford and when I had an issue with my car during the first week… they not only offered me a loaner car. They paid for and repaired the issue that totaled $800 at no cost to me. Same scenario, warrantee did not cover the cost for the repair but they told me that they wanted to offer me good customer service and that I shouldn’t be having problems after 1 week. A good friend of mine also got a loaner car and got her car repainted after she noticed a rust spot on the used car she purchased at the Toyota dealership across the street. Again demonstrating that they where interested in good customer service. I got in contact with a manager named Bill King at Kline Nissan. I explained the situation to him and asked him if there was anything he could do to help me out. Instead of showing me any level of customer service he aggravated the situation by interrupting me repeatedly telling me that the vehicle was sold “as is” and that I needed to understand that. I told Mr. King that I understood that, however the lift gate was supposed to be repaired before we purchased the vehicle and I was lied to. In addition to that I notified Mr. King that it is my understanding that every vehicle goes through an inspection before making it out to the sales floor and that a leak should have been easily noticed and repaired considering I noticed it on my driveway within a couple of days. Mr. King’s response to that was that the inspection they do only covers the safety features and nothing else. He was rude and condescending, he did not show any interest in customer satisfaction. Instead to get me off the phone he said “ill see what I can do, Ill talk to my service department” and gave me no sense that I was in fact going to be taken care of. Hours later the service department called and told me that they would only fix the rear door and that the parts would take 5 days to arrive. No problem, I went in to pick up the vehicle since a loaner was never offered to me and made arrangements for the service department to call me when the parts where in. I asked to get a copy of the paperwork for the inspection done prior to the vehicle being put up for sale. The service tech tried to get that for me with Mr. King. However instead of Mr. King himself coming out and addressing the issue with me in person he sent the service guy back to me saying that they are unable to get me a copy of the inspection done on the vehicle and that they would mail me a copy later. It is my understanding that every vehicle has a thorough inspection done beyond just the safety stuff. It is my understanding that every vehicle has to pass this inspection before being put out on the floor for sale. I understand that every vehicle gets put up on a lift and that something leaking would have and should have been repaired. At this point I feel very aggravated, insulted and flat out disrespected. It is one thing to use the line “sold as is” as a cop out. It is another thing to flat out lie to me about the inspection then not address the issue with me in person and hand over the paperwork I requested. In addition to that Id like to add that I am not happy how the sale process was handled. I wrote out the agreed $1000.00 check to hold the vehicle while I was gone during my Army training. The check was NOT to be cashed until I came back home and signed the paperwork. The check was in fact cashed a week before I came home. Then during the signing portion of the sale I was told that I needed to put an additional $500 down after paper work had already been signed…. even though that was never brought up to me before. As I sat there still in my uniform noticing all of their “we support our troops” slogans, I reluctantly wrote the check for that additional $500 although I felt that was very low of Kline to do that far into the process. It is truly unfortunate that I have to resort to these measures but my experience with Kline Nissan and Bill King have really left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Instead of demonstrating leadership, integrity and customer service, I have been left feeling disrespected and insulted. I have gave them a chance to make things right and instead I was insulted. I have purchased two Nissan Frontier trucks from Kline (2006 and 2012), and have had all of my service work on those trucks completed by Kline Nissan. I have been treated exceptionally well by all of the (2006 and 2012), and have had all of my service work on those trucks completed by Kline Nissan. I have been treated exceptionally well by all of the service team members, especially Mike and Steve. They are the very meaning of "courteous, caring and professional" to me. My vehicle is always ready by the time promised, it is always returned washed and I have never had any unforeseen issues arise at Kline. Not only will I recommend Kline to my family and friends, I will remain a lifetime customer as long as I continue to live in the Twin Cities metro area. I only wish other companies could provide the level of service and satisfaction that I receive at Kline. Thank you, Kline Nissan, for going above and beyond the "satisfactory" level most local companies provide, and please don't change the way you treat your customers! You guys are the best in the business! More
