I purchased a Toyota Camry from King's Toyota in 1999. I have taken it there for all of the service every since I bought it. I still have my Camry and I love it. I really felt like I knew him and was really great dealing with him. I knew pretty much what I wanted another Rav4 and the color. That day when I left they were already starting on the paper work and would have the car ready the next day. I drove in my old Rav4 and picked up the new, it was the fastest, smoothest transaction ever. Thanks to the people at Kings Toyota and especially Jim Gray. Kings Toyota deserves an A+ in its repeat customer service which it was lacking before. Kings Toyota is not even close to where I live but keep going back because I like them and the selection is larger. After 2 days of haggling with the other dealership for the small SUV I thought I wanted, my mind was exhausted at the thought of having to start over...good thing I didn't have to. From start to finish my buying experience was calm and easy...no haggling involved. Christina, my salesperson, was upfront about the price. No starting with what 'payment I could afford' angle, which pleased me to no end. So I walked in to buy and in no time at all the transaction was done. I have never purchased such a big ticket item so easy and hassle free in my 52 years. So, would I recomment Kings Toyota and Christina Richmond to my friends? The answer is a resounding YES! But...the service didn't stop there. A few weeks ago, nearly 3 months after my purchase, I locked my keys in my car at a nearby grocery store. Somewhat panicked I called Kings and relayed my dilema. The person answering the phone said 'let me transfer you to Christine, I believe she's here and might be able to help you'. Christine called the service department hoping to cut a new key for me, but they had just closed. So she offered to pick me up herself, drive me home to get my spare key and drive me back to my car. Joe met us outside at the door and welcomed us to the dealership. We told him exactly what we were interested in and he walked us straight to the car on the floor. We couldn't decide on what color we wanted right away. We ended up buying the car that Joe showed us first and it was the one next to the table where we sat. We had been to one other Toyota dealership and a Volvo dealership. At the other Toyota place, we never got to see the model we wanted. That man did call us back a few weeks later to check up on us, and said he could get a car for us. We were impressed by the trade-in price Joe got for us. It was much higher than the Volvo dealer. And the total cost of the car was lower than we had expected to pay. Joe made the whole experience good on a very hot afternoon/evening. The mam who processed our loan and took care of the insurance was very good also. He was efficient and nice too. We drove the car home that evening without expecting that. We did attend the New Owner's Meeting this past week and were so impressed with it. This is our 4th new Toyota and we had never been invited to any event.
