I went to the dealership with the intention of just looking at a few cars and leaving. However, after looking at their selection I found the car of my dreams. I visited the Laurel Kia in hopes of leasing a 2013 Sportage. They had exactly the vehicle I wanted with my preferred combination of exterior and interior colors as well as the convenience package. My husband and I recently returned from being stationed overseas. We knew the car we wanted to buy, and we had had a positive experience with this particular dealership many years ago when we were in the overseas. We knew the car we wanted to buy, and we had had a positive experience with this particular dealership many years ago when we were in the area before (they did some repair work on our first Kia), so they were one of the places we were considering when we were ready to make a purchase. The Sales Associate was VERY friendly and knowledgeable. We had emailed him from Japan with questions about the car we were interested in, and not only did he answer the questions we asked, but he volunteered information that answered questions we didn't even think to ask. (Such as why it might make more sense for us to buy the Exclaim instead of the Plus with an upgraded stereo and sun roof, which is what we wanted at first - we hadn't even looked at the Exclaim at that point.) While he was in contact with us via email, he didn't bombard us with phone calls or emails, like some of the dealerships we were put in contact with did. Nor did we get the feeling that he was "doing us a favor" just by talking to us about the car we were interested in, which is the feeling we got from another dealership we had contacted. While we would have rather not had to get it with the heated seats and so forth, we do understand (from doing our own search on Kia.com) that this was basically the only one available, other than one that was in a color that we did NOT want, so, rather than wait for another car to become available (and paying for a rental car in the meantime), we opted to get it "fully loaded", and so far, we have no regrets. (And since purchasing the car 3 weeks ago, we have already driven it from MD to OK and back, so lots of road time for "buyers remorse" to have set in...) We are very glad we bought our car from them, and would do so again if the opportunity arose. More

More specifically, we would like to thank Tae Yeon for helping us pick out the exact car that were looking for at the best price possible. Tae was very instrumental in the negotiation process, in that he actually listened to what my wife and I wanted. Not only was Tae able to get us the car we wanted, he was able to get us the car with extra options that fell within our price range. He was very profesisonal and made us feel very welcomed as soon as we entered the dealership. To be honest, I really dont like, nor trust, most dealers, but I can honestly say that Tae was actually interested in helping my wife and I, more than his own selfish needs. My wife and I had previously gone to a Kia dealership in Glen Burnie, and just to say, our experience at this dealership was very unpleasant. They were not willing to come off the price, and the dealer even laughed in our faces, stressing that "Kia was not in the position to negotiate prices." However, as soon as my wife explained to Tae Yeon what what we were looking for at the price we wanted, he worked hard with his management to get us what we wanted. This, in my opinion, is exactly what makes a car-buyer more enthusiatic about purchasing a vehicle. Not only was Kia of Laurel able to help us find the car we wanted, they also helped us get the best possible interest rate they could, which might I add, was lower than the interest rate my bank had offered us. Tae, my wife and I wanted to let you and the Laurel Kia family that when it comes to replacing our other car, this dealership will be at the top of our list. Andrew was a huge help from the test drive to closing the deal. He knew all of the specs on the Kia Optium & was able to assist me with the customized options I was pursuing. Mr Brian Yeon sold me my 2010 Dodge Charger SXT. Brian by far is the most patient and knowledgeable salesperson I have dealt with in a very long time. I was here with an insurance problem THREE hours aft by far is the most patient and knowledgeable salesperson I have dealt with in a very long time. I used usaa buying service when purchasing a 2012kia forte. I was called within 5 minutes of submitting on usaa website! Car was matched up ans price was within 200.00!
