As we all know we dread the car buying process- but from the first contact I was amazed at the level of service. The very next day I received a call from Jamal to see if I was ready to stop in for a test drive. I told him I would be there in 10 minutes. Upon my arrival he cam out of the showroom and introduced himself in a very professional manner. He did not place one bit of pressure as many sale staff do. We spent several moments getting to know each other and what I was looking for. He showed me several options, provided full details, answered every question and provided test drives. I selected 2 vehicles of interest an we began the process. It was not long thereafter, ( and we all know how long this can take) but within less than 2 hours, I was walking out with my NEW 2015 Soul. Wow! Jamal was knowledgeable, very social and professional from start to finish. I highly recommend Jamal and Laurel Kia to anyone in search of purchasing or leasing a vehicle. Best Car Buying Experience EVER! Car buying is nothing short of a headache. Pushy salesmen, cup after cup of stale coffee in sweaty leather chairs bickering over heated seats ,all-weather floor mats and .00005% interest. Ugh. Needless to say, when my husband and I began our car shopping expedition we expected to be met with pushiness, aggressiveness and confrontation. We were in Silver Spring at the Kia Dealthership ( I shall not name) where our sales person could not give us a definitive price on a vehicle or even a price QUOTE without pulling or credit reports. Ridiculousness. Jamal “The Guy with the Red Bowtie” Allen , no lie, sent me an email while we were on a test drive at the “Other Dealership” breaking down the price of vehicle. My husband drove RIGHT back to the dealership and we were in Laurel within 20 mins. I LOVE the service we received. Jamal answered all of my husband’s questions. When I say ALL of husband’s questions, he literally had like 26941595 million. Jamal answered them ALL with a smile and with the patience of professional. We did not feel bullied, tricked or anything. He gave us his honest opinion and that is invaluable. We both have hectic work schedules, but Jamal worked with us, even skipping his lunch break the first day to meet with us when we were both free. Even that evening, when my husband has his billionth question, Jamal still was available via text message to answer it, despite the late hour. We were SO pleased with the level of service we got; we knew we had to buy. The next day, my husband came in alone and was out in a matter of hours with a BRAND NEW 2016 SORRENTO. Jamal was with him every step of the way, helping him throughout this process , as this is the first time that we have brought a New car. End of story, my husband drove off in his new 2016 that we got for a great price with STELLAR customer service. I can honestly say that as long as Jamal “The Guy With the Red Bowtie” Allen is at Kia Laurel, ALL of our family’s vehicles will be purchased from him. He truly epitomizes customer service and dedication. Words cannot express how grateful we really are, he went above and beyond to help our brand new little family. More
