Extremely poor customer service I saw a used car advertised on Cars.com that was at Laurel Kia. I inquired if the car was still availabe. Pierce York emailed me and said he was going I saw a used car advertised on Cars.com that was at Laurel Kia. I inquired if the car was still availabe. Pierce York emailed me and said he was going to get more information on this car ans he would email me back. I emailed him that night and asked him if he ever got more info on the car because I had not heard anything from him. The next day he emailed me and asked me if I wanted to schedule a test drive.....still never gave any more info on this car. I then applied for credit because I did not want my daughter to spend all of her money on a car. Figured if I could finance some of it then she could keep some of her money in the bank. Again I never heard anything back from them. I know I have less than perfect credit but we had the total amount for the car in cash just in case. I should have gotten a phone call or email letting me know something but the lack of communication on their part means I will never cinsider purchasing a new or used car from here and I will advise my friends and coworkers to go elsewhere. More

After conducting much research and interacting with other Kia dealerships that pushed an immediate sale for a vehicle that did not meet our needs. We reached out to Laurel Kia and negotiated a fair internet price with Pierce for the exact trim and options that we desired. Steve, Tae and Linda were friendly and accommodating when we test drove our car. Then on the day of the sale, we drove 60 miles to the dealership. Pierce took extra time to explain the advanced technology and the team did a great job preparing our car. The internet price we were quoted was the price we paid! During the sale, we were made to feel like we were part of the family, we were never pressured. Our new compact SUV is awesome, it's loaded with advanced technology and turbo performance. The exterior color and interior are unique. Only Kia offers this product quality and Laurel Kia is the best dealership in Maryland with one of a kind service. Customer Service good, but freight fee I brought a new Kia Sorento from Pierce. Pierce was nice, and accommodating even though I came in pretty late. My issue is that when I purchased the v I brought a new Kia Sorento from Pierce. Pierce was nice, and accommodating even though I came in pretty late. My issue is that when I purchased the vehicle, I was told an 800 dollar freight charge was not added to the advertised price of the car. I negotiated a little and got the price down to something in my budget, which included this 800 freight charge. I am now looking at my Truth in Lending disclosure. The Truth in Lending disclosure has a line item for freight charges. Now, Pierce didn't do my paperwork- I believe Jamal did. However, none of my paperwork lists the 800 fee they charged me. For me it's a lesson learned- I love my new Sorento, however if I ever buy from Laurel Kia, I will be sure to ensure what I'm told matches the paperwork. Recommend with caution. More
