Tried to sell me an engine or a new car Recently, I went to King Acura of Birmingham, AL for a simple issue with my car. After a day, the service rep called and sold me a timing belt and wa Recently, I went to King Acura of Birmingham, AL for a simple issue with my car. After a day, the service rep called and sold me a timing belt and water pump replacement totaling $1300. A few days later the same service rep told me my car NEEDED A NEW ENGINE.. $7100. He then suggested I trade in the car for a new model and called his sales buddy, at the King Acura Sales, to help me. My car is worth $11000.00 they offered $2500. I felt something was not right so I took it to another mechanic. The prognosis... fuel injector replacement less than $500.... I also found out the dealership drained my coolant and never replaced it. I brought this to the attention of the service manager and he refused to rectify the situation so I had to pay for new coolant to be place in. The lack of coolant also implies the dealership intentionally wanted my engine to cease. I am a software developer and I will do everything in my power to not only recover compensation for my pain and suffering, time lost at work, added stress, and cost for transportation. I will ensure this will never happen to another woman. My next stop is social media and the news. As many people as possible should know about this. More

Check engine light came on within the 15 mile drive to my house from the dealership. Called back to tell them they could have their car back and I wanted my trade back and was told by the Manager and Used car manager that my car was sold, Funny thing is, 3 days later it is listed on the website as for sale at the dealership for $5200 more than they so generously gave me. Be aware, these guys are as crooked as they come. More

I recently purchased a Nissan 350Z at King Acura located on Highway 31. My experiance there was exceptional. Multiple staff members greeted me at the door with a smile and were very helpful. I personally worked with Cody Barnes who guided me through my shopping experience. He was very polite and friendly. He helped me achieve the goals I had in mind and asked what "I" wanted. Throughout the process he made me feel as comfortable as possible. The waiting time was minimum and the facility was very clean and well kept. The owner himself greeted me and helped me with my purchase. The price of the car was very affortable and several employees helped the payments fit my needs. I truly enjoyed purchasing my dream car with the help of Cody Barnes, Mr. King, and the staff at King Acura. I personally recommend making a purchase from this dealer. More
Cody was really the best part of our experience at Acura. He was honest and down to earth and I got the feeling he was trustworthy. I did not feel that way with any of the other salesmen that we encountered or that helped us through the process. Cody really made us feel comfortable. We were very turned off when we pulled in the parking lot and there were at least 4 or 5 salesmen waiting out front for someone to pull up. They were hovering and a little over enthusiastic. It was a bit fake. And, the other salesmen we had contact with were all very fake and very "used car salesmen" types. They all fit the mold perfectly. In my opinion, I felt like they would have not given us the best deal possible. I'm just thankful we got Cody! He was new, but I think that helped in his desirability and his being down to earth and real. The facility was very nice and the finance guy was nice as well. And, everyone else was nice, but I got the impression it was fake. But, overall, the experience was pleasant and we will consider going back to King Acura for future purchases. More
Typical negotiation games! Ultimately, my wife and I felt very disrespected and left with no desire to buy a vehicle from this dealership. We were told that the vehicle was not for us. After numerous oil changes and warranty repairs, King Acura has done a great job with taking care of the problems in a friendly and efficient manner. The only complaint that I've had is that they forget to call when the car is ready, but with a brand new Acura as a rental, I cant complain too much. More
Called about a warranty issue rendering the car extremely unsafe to operate on Saturday at 8am. No one was available to speak so I left my number. I told him that I would not be doing business with King if my calls couldn't be returned sooner. He said that was fine, King didn't want my business. The call ended. More
