I inquired about purchasing a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I explained l was purchasing from out of town and stated exactly what l was concerned regarding maintenance being reformed on the vehicle and the condition of the tires. Upon purchasing the vehicle it was delivered in the dark. The first thing l did was inspect the tire tread. Sure enough there was less then 20 % of the tread left on each tire, l verified this against the brand new spare tire that matched the mounted tires. The vehicle is not even safe to drive on the streets with such a poor amount of tread left. The salesman told me the tires should be replaced and not to worry. Then after the paperwork was signed l asked when the tires would be replaced so the vehicle could be shipped. He recanted and said I’m not a mechanic, the tires were actually in great condition. The photos l sent the dealership the evening they delivered the vehicle proved otherwise. Typical bait and switch tactics. l have requested they make it right and replace the tires as they should have. As of now the tires have not been replaced but l have reached out to a local attorney to assist with the matter. More
Over the last week, I have called the Automax parts department 20 times, without any answer. The service department also did not answer. I finally had to call the sales number to get an answer. Lina tried six times with no success, and had to walk over just to get a response. I've been waiting on a part for a week, with very real impacts to my life, and Automax can't even pick up the phone. Their excuse... "We're shorthanded." I never even received any notice that my part arrived, or was even ordered. I'm not getting paid to waste my time calling you. I'm not sure what your staff is getting paid for, since they are clearly not doing their jobs. Be careful about purchasing a car from Automax. They are not forthright and honest and do not respond when there is a problem. Purchased the car from Automax in June 2021. The sales person, Armondo, sai not forthright and honest and do not respond when there is a problem. Purchased the car from Automax in June 2021. The sales person, Armondo, said he was our eye's and hears since we were not from the state. He said it passed a 100 point system check or they couldn't sell it in Texas. Got half way home and realized the drivers door lock does not work, the air conditioner keeps going out and the maintenance light keeps coming on. Reached out to automax and not a word back! When the sales manager Michael Hernandez emailed me to ask about out experience and I expressed our frustration he did not respond. Not good customer service practices and now I have probably $1500 of repairs to do. Totally frustrated. More
I will never purchase a vehicle or allow anyone I know to purchase a vehicle from this company. We had a leased vehicle that we traded into another dealership. Fast forward 4 months later and with us still purchase a vehicle from this company. We had a leased vehicle that we traded into another dealership. Fast forward 4 months later and with us still having to make payments the vehicle is paid off yet our money has not been returned for the difference of the payoff at the time of our contract. Dropped off truck to get it fixed under warranty. When I went to pick it up the girl at the service desk was very rude like I was getting on her nerves. I bought my 2021 Ford F-150 truck at Automax Ford and had the best customer service. I found the truck I wanted on their website, I was emailed my credit application and then drove 3 hours to do the rest of the best customer service. My wife and I drove three hours to Automax and was greeted by Keith and he was very kind and helpful. He was so down to earth and we felt comfortable and trusting around him. He made our experience there amazing. Thank You Keith for helping us have a great experience, and a trusting and beautiful car. The other staff was also very kind and explained things very well. IAnd once I got my Hyundai we had a young man explain the details of the car and he was very informative and polite. it was an all around great experience and I would recommend anyone to this car lot. They are great !!! More
