Unfortunately, I have to give them this one star to write this. Worst car buying experience in my 32 years as an adult. My wife I found a 2017 Ford Explorer on their lot we really liked. My wife and I went here already pre-approved for an auto loan through Capital One, still ended up with over ten hard inquiries on both of our credit reports. How do you go to a dealership already pre-approved but still end up with all those hard inquiries? My wife has fraud protection with one of the three major credit bureaus so this needed to be addressed and was. Fraud protection obviously blew the finance department’s mind and they lack the knowledge on how to handle it. But wait there’s more. We were told for 4 days that they were still working on the financing. The only way we knew this is because we kept having to call them. They obviously refused to call us back to keep us informed. I have never in my life seen such incompetence. As I was writing this I received a text from the salesman that they were still working on the financing. Last night, after 5 days of waiting, my wife and I went to Johnson Brothers Ford, same fraud protection and in just 2 hours and 45 minutes we drove off of their lot with a 2019 Grand Cherokee. Johnson Brothers did something crazy, they got the credit bureau on the phone, despite the fact that it was 9:00 at night, while we sat there so my wife could verify that they were acting with her permission. Crazy how well that worked and took a mere 10 minutes. More

I am very pleased with my recent visit to Automax. Crooked Salesman My salesperson DeShawn Wright sold me a car illegally, On top of that the car had been wrecked. When I went to test drive the car I was told it was in the shop so I test drove a car similiar to the one I wanted to purchase. I was then told to come pick it up at night and the next few days I discovered so many other problems with the car. Front end problems, passenger seat motor needed replacing etc. I've had the car for a month now and the service engine light is on and it needs an oil change. Dealing with Automax was the WORST experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. I WOULDNT recommend anyone to this dealership. More

He was with me from the time he met me at the entrance of the dealership until I was with the finance department but after signing all the documents, he was right back with me and my new vehicle helping me unload the trade in and prepare the new car for the road. Chris escorted me to the service department and later to the representative who instructed me on the operation of the vehicles information and entertainment system. Chris displayed a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied with the new Palisade. If I was to purchase another vehicle at Automax in Killeen, I would seek his assistance immediately. Thanks Chris, I appreciate your help. The finance guy, William Curl is to be recognized too. He was professional, understanding and patient. He answered all of my finance questions and ensured that I was satisfied with the information he provided.
