Caroline, Thank you for bringing the key back. I can assure you that it was a mistake on us leaving the key in your car. We have to double park cars at times and that causes a lot of car shuffling. Whoever moved a car to get to yours must have left the key in your car. I apologize that we were not able to warranty any of the items needed on your car. The manufacturer ultimately makes the decision to provide warranty on a vehicle. They will typically decline repairs that are not considered manufacturer defects. Such as failure to properly maintain a vehicle per manufacturer recommendations or outside influences such as accidents. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any further assistance.
