Don't Go I was told not to buy a Kia but I didn't listen. My Kia has a big flaw in the paint job and Kia Motor and Maroon Kia DO NOT CARE. Amazing how fast the I was told not to buy a Kia but I didn't listen. My Kia has a big flaw in the paint job and Kia Motor and Maroon Kia DO NOT CARE. Amazing how fast they turn their backs on customers. I can't wait to junk this piece of crap and go back to Nissan. It took Kia 3 weeks to even process my claim and only after follow up phone calls. When they called me back, Peter the service manager offered no comments other than Kia said they aren't going to do anything for you. I NEVER had that problem with Nissan. More
I started having a problem with my 2011 Kia Optima SX Turbo(a little over 5,000 mi.) on July 5,2012. When I began to accelerate , I experienced a sudden power loss, The traction control Icon would come o Turbo(a little over 5,000 mi.) on July 5,2012. When I began to accelerate , I experienced a sudden power loss, The traction control Icon would come on and the car would drop to 20 MPH & wouldn't go faster then 40 MPH.The car would shake & make a rattling noise.I would pull over & shut the car off & when I restarted the car it seemed OK.But the symptoms would reappear at various times.I took the car in for servicing , oil change etc. and told John what was going on.He was patient & took down a detailed history of the events.I picked the car up & John explained the car showed a code for a faulty spark plug. Some other minor adjustment had been done & they road tested the car & the car seemed alright. Not too long after I got the car back the problem reappeared. I would shut the car down & tried to continue to use the car. Finally when an episode took place I limped the car back to the dealership ,left it running & told John what was happening. He was very patient & made arrangements for a loaner car & said they would keep the car for awhile to get to the bottom of the problem.John gave me update phone calls to let me know how things were going. It wasn't showing any codes but there was a history of a problem with a part which they replaced and after extensive road testing , the problem seemed to be solved. I picked the car up and took it out for a ride and the symptoms reappeared. I got the car back to the dealer & told them to keep the car until it was fixed. At this point Tony got involved , he could sense my frustration. He told me he would get corporate Kia involved and they were going to hook the car up to a recorder similar to the black box on an airplane. They took turns driving the car with the hope of recording the event.Eventually it happened and they sent a copy of the recording of the event to the Kia engineers in California. They were able to diagnose the problem as a malfunction of a specific part. The part was ordered and replaced and the car was again extensively road tested. It seemed OK but Tony did one further thing. He took the damaged part from my car & put it in a new Kia Optima Turbo and road tested it and the problem appeared. Case closed & problem solved !!I don't think the "Big Guys" on the highway woukd have been that diligent! That's why I gave them all FIVES - Thanks guys !!! More

This is my second car that I am having serviced at Maroon Kia. My nice new car had a mysterious problem- the battery was dying if it sat for more than 2 days, but the battery was fine and there were no majo Kia. My nice new car had a mysterious problem- the battery was dying if it sat for more than 2 days, but the battery was fine and there were no major power draws. Tony and his team took the time to meticulously go over each and every fuse until they found a very small draw on the rear-view mirror. Turns out it was installed wrong at the factory (two identical wires were reversed), and since their diagnostic work Kia has found (and fixed) a few others. And being a new Kia it is still all under warranty and taken care of, no problem. They were really great, courteous, and took the time to find a small problem- which turns in to a REALLY big one if you have left your car at home for a long weekend! No more dead batteries for me, thanks Maroon!! More
They do not know how to properly service their own Kia Cars! They also go back on their Word. We had to take our car back 3 x to fix the same problem. We used up all our AAA Towing because our 2004 KIA Se Cars! They also go back on their Word. We had to take our car back 3 x to fix the same problem. We used up all our AAA Towing because our 2004 KIA Sedona kept dying on the road! They promised they would pay for our last 2 Tows, they have yet to pay! The last repair too 1 Month, and now, we are having problems again! Our 2004 KIA Sedona could not even get over 90,000 Miles! The sad thing is, they used to be good. Unfortunately, things really turned back over the past 2 Years! More
Well, here we are at 100,000 miles. My Sedona still looks and drives like new. We have friends who have a one-year old Mercedes SUV, but we still take the KIA when we go anywhere with them. Only looks and drives like new. We have friends who have a one-year old Mercedes SUV, but we still take the KIA when we go anywhere with them. Only problem is that since my old Sedona is still so "new", I'll never get to actually buy a NEW one, especially since the service department at Maroon KIA takes such good care of it! Keep up the GOOD WORK! More
I did not buy a vehicle here, nor would I even consider I did not buy a vehicle here, nor would I even consider it after dealing with their service department, who not only doesn't know what they're doing I did not buy a vehicle here, nor would I even consider it after dealing with their service department, who not only doesn't know what they're doing, but has someone at the desk who doesn't know how to communicate with the public. As a result, my vehicle was repaired elsewhere, and quickly, by real professionals. More
