Dishonest cover up After waiting 5 hours for my vehicle to be repaired my vehicle was accidentally damaged by another vehicle during the time of service. After being told that it was caused from a shopping cart their story changed and attempted to provide me with false information by cutting 2 and a half hours of video footage from a cell phone. The purpose of the video is for authority to view NOT ME. Have someone else with proper authority view the continuous 5 hour video of service and then tell me if my vehicle was damaged there at the time to witness the cover up! When does your car dealership ask for your money one hour in advance after being a customer for 6 years and be asked if my check was going to bounce or not? In fact the incident where I lambasted the clowns should be on video as well when they expected me to watch the same 5 hour experience from a cell phone I already had 3 days prior....just watch the video and you tell me if my vehicle was damaged there or not. More

Less than helpful Service and Parts Departments 1 - No phone call to confirm online appointment that required parts and a call-back 2 - After calling Service a couple days after not hearing f 1 - No phone call to confirm online appointment that required parts and a call-back 2 - After calling Service a couple days after not hearing from Route 23 Kia, I spoke with a Service person and explained the service required (new keys & remotes). I was told that I would be called back in 10 - 15 minutes as they would be checking of the parts were in-stock. There was never a call back after waiting by the phone. 3 - I called several hours later after not hearing from Service. I was then transferred to Parts, even though it was my understanding that Service would be handling everything. I spoke to a somewhat abrupt and rude person that informed me that they could not order the parts unless I was physically there to show proof-of-ownership. I explained that I could provide this when I come for my Service appointment to have everything programmed, etc. As the parts would be in the possession of Route 23 Kia the whole time, I asked why I would need to travel there twice and lose time from my job. They had no logical response. My advice.....cars, service, and parts are expensive. Save yourself time and aggravation and find a cooperative dealer that is willing to actually WORK for your money and be HELPFUL. I contact Kia directly and they were unable to help in any way. It seems they have ZERO authority over their dealers. Based on that, perhaps consider purchasing from a brand other than KIA. More
