AS WITH MANY AMERICANS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE CLUNKER REBATE, I DECIDED TO GO OUT AND REPLACE THE FAMILY VAN' SO I DECIDEDED TO GO TO THE LOCAL MAROON KIA DEALER FROM WHO'M I HAD BOUGHT TWO CARS FROM IN REBATE, I DECIDED TO GO OUT AND REPLACE THE FAMILY VAN' SO I DECIDEDED TO GO TO THE LOCAL MAROON KIA DEALER FROM WHO'M I HAD BOUGHT TWO CARS FROM IN THE PAST. AMAZING WHAT A FEW YEARS AND FOUND MONEY DOSE (CLUNKER REBATE) WITH THESE UNETHICAL DEALERS. NOT A YEAR AGO THEY WERE ALL xxxxxxx WIND, NOW THEY WANT TO HIT YOU OVER THE HEAD. SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER LOYALTY/APPRECIATION. SO I SIT WITH THE SALESMAN WHO IS A PERFECT GENTALMAN, AND WE ARE ABOUT TO START TALKING NUMBERS ON A CAR I AM INTERESTED IN. THE SALES MANGER WALKS OVER AND STATES, I KNOW THAT THIS IS OUT OF THRE NORM, BUT I NEED YOU TO SIGN THE CREDIT FORM, SO I CAN YOUR CREDIT. IGAINST MY BETTER JUDGEMENT AND RELUCTANCY I DID SO, ASSURED BY THE SALEMAN THAT HE WOULD WORK WITH ME ON THE MSRP. NOW THE SALESMAN WALKS AWAY TO GET THE FIGURE FROM THE MANGER AS TO WHAT THEY WILL ACCEPT ON THE CAR. TO MY ASTONISHMENT HE INFORMED ME THAT THEY WILL TAKE OFF THE $3500.00 FOR THE CLUNKER OFF THE MSRP, AND THAT THAT WOULD BE IT. NOW HERE COMES THE PART WHERE THEY ADD INSULT TO INJURY. HE WALKS AWAY AFTER I TOLD HIM I THOUGHT THAT WAS AN INSULT, CONSDIERING I HAD BEEN A TWO TIME REPEAT CUSTOMER. O.K. SO NOW WE GET TO THE PART WHERE THE SALESMAN HAS TO DO HIS JOB, AND SAYS LETS SEE WHAT I CAN DO. "CUE' THE MANAGER STEVE PATRINO WHO WALKS OVER TO TRY AND CLOSE THE DEAL. HE STATES HE WANTS TO EARN MY BUSINESS, AND THAT IF IT'S A MATTER OF "100.00 DOLLARS WE CAN DO THE DEAL. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE A 100.00 OFF MSRP. I CAN'E WAIT FOR THE CLUNKER REBATE TO BE OVER, HOW QUICK GUYS LIKE MR STEVE PARTINO FORGET HOW BAD IT WAS A YEAR AGO. THIS CLOWN RAN MY CREDIT, THEN ONCE HE ESTABLSIHED I HAD THE ABILITY TO PAY FOR THE CAR, DECIDED HE WAS GOING TO HIT ME OVER THE HEAD ON THE DEAL, AND NOT WORK WITH ME. KEEP IN MIND FOLKS I AM A TWO TIME REPEAT CUSTOMER. THANKS YOU MR PATRINO, I'VE DECIDED NOT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE REBATE, I WILL WAIT TILL, YOU ARE xxxxxxx WIND AGAIN ONCE THE CLUNKER REBATE IS OVER, AND THE CAR INDUSTRY COMES TO A SCREACHING HALT AGAIN, DUE TO THE SLOWED ECONOMY. I'M SURE THEN YOU WILL BE WILLING TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN A MORE ETHICAL AND FARE MANNER, BUT NOT BY CHOICE. TAKING NOTHING FROM THE SALESMAN, MR.DONNY IZONE, A TRUE GENTALMAN, HIS ONLY FAULT IS THAT HE DECIDED TO SEEK EMPLOYMNET AT MAROON PONTIAC. FOLKS, IF YOU PLAN ON BYING SEVERAL CARS IN YOU LIFETIME, AND YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WITH DISTAIN, DIRISPECT, AND YOUR INTELLIGENCE INSULTED. THEN MAROON KIA IS YOUR DEALER. IF YOU WANT YOU BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY, RESPECT AND CUSTOMER LOYALTY/APPRERCIATIION, THEN HEAD MY WARNING AND AVOID MAROON PONTIAC AT ALL COST. FOLKS DON'T LET UNETHICAL SALES PRACTICES LIKE THE ONES CONDUCTED BY SALES MANAGER STEVE PARTINO AT MORRON KIA INSULT YOUR INTELLIGENCE. WORK THE NUMBERS FIRST BEFORE YOU ALOW THEM TO RUN YOUR CREDIT. IN CLOSING TO PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE, WHEN I EXPRESSED MY DISATISFACATION AT THE WAY HE CONDUCTED BUSINESS WITH ME, HIS REPLY WAS I THOUGHT YOU KNEW BEING A PAST CUSTOMER THAT WE WERE FIRM ON THE MSRP. WOW!,THIS COULD NOT BE FAR FROM THE TRUTH. I REPEAT I'T FUNNY HOW FOUND MONEY EFFECTS THE WAY THESE GUYS CONDUCT BUSINESS. IF THE GOVERMENT WOULD OF ISSUED THE REBATE CHECK TO THE CONSUMER THIS SORT OF UNETHICAL SALES TACTICS WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING... THEY WOULD BE DRUMMING TO A DIFFERNET BEAT FOR SURE. IT'S OBVIOUS HE DID NOT TAKE ME AT MY WORD THAT MY CREDIT WAS GOOD, NO,IT'S NOT GOOD IT'S EXCEPTIONAL. BUT I GUESS I DID NOT FIT HIS PROFILE OF HAVING GOOD CREDIT. BUT NOW HE WANTED TO INSULT MY INTELLINGENCE EVEN FURTHER TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE AND HOLD ME TO THE MSRP. SORRY I DID NOT FIT YOUR STEREOTYPE, MR PATRINO. MY REGRET IS NOT GETTING A FARE DEAL ON THE CAR I WAS LOOKING TO BUY, BUT THE FACT THAT I HAD CONDUCTED BUSINESS THERE IN THE PAST. I HOPE THAT ANYONE CONSIDERING A NEW OR USED CAR PURCHASE FROM MAROON PONTIAC READS THIS FIRST. BECAUSE NO HARD WORKING PERSON SHOULD BE TREATED WITH SO MUCH INDIFFRENCE. IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING 795..SO IF YOU HAVE WORKED HARD AND MAINTAINED A RESPECTABLE CREDIT RATING,IF YOU DON'T FIT THE PROFILE, THIS IS THE KIND OF TREATMENT YOU CAN EXPECT AT THE AFOERMNTIONED CAR DEALER. THAT THEY INSIST ON RUNNING YOUR CREDIT FIRST BEFORE EVEN TALKING WITH YOU.
