Worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership in 30 yrs. One hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing. Every time we call service to ask what’s going on they give a sob story and blaming kia corp. we’ll time for the next big step we tried everything but it’s long past the 30 day service mark. More

BEST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER! THAT'S EVEN AN UNDERSTATEMENT! Really cannot say enough amazing things about Riverdale Kia and don't want to make this super long. Will definitely be THAT'S EVEN AN UNDERSTATEMENT! Really cannot say enough amazing things about Riverdale Kia and don't want to make this super long. Will definitely be doing ALL of my future Kia deals with them. I was in the market for a vehicle that was in VERY high demand and no dealership seemed to have them available for months or they simply stated that I would have to order one and wait and that I would have to basically pay a leg and an arm for one! I had talked to over 20 dealerships and nobody was able to give me honest answers. Kia of Riverdale went above and beyond. They had the exact car I wanted and I was the first call they made when they found out the other customer didn't want it. They asked me what number I wanted to be at before we even started and after a couple quick back and forth's they got me to my number with no strings attached. IT WAS AMAZING! Not only were they able to get me the BEST lease deal BY FAR (nobody could even come close), but they were also able to save me a trip to the dealership. The entire process was made quick and easy as I live in NY. They were able to let me complete all of the paperwork remotely (which took only 10 minutes) and also delivered the car to my house directly. Did not have to go to the dealership once! The car was brought with a full tank of gas and was absolutely spotless. In addition, they even included 1 year of complete maintenance on them. I could keep going on and on about how amazing this place is and by the way I have dealt with a lot of high end car dealerships (Audi, Porsche, BMW) and have NEVER had as amazing of an experience as I did here. Other dealerships need to learn from these guys. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Lastly, must give a big shoutout to Frank Vallejos-Perez, Dan, and Anthony for making this experience so amazing. More

The service dept. used to be superb before new owners took over in 2020. Went in for an oil change and they put in synthetic oil without asking or telling me. When I went to pay, I was shocked at the price -- double the conventional oil price. Service Manager said Kia recommends synthetic oil for all oil changes as of January 2022. I called Kia USA to check and this NOT true. Avoid this dealership, they list me as a customer after years of service there. More
I am so overwhelmed I bought a vehicle from this dealership 13 months ago. The engine blew up - they say car was leaking oil into the engine. Dwayne in service was helpful and I told him all that was going on with the car and our suspicion that when oil change was done and we had the light come on and checked.. there was no oil in the car my husband bought some filled it and we called dealership to tell them and took car in. We’re responsible. We said maybe they forgot to put it.. he didn’t believe it but we did there was nothing leaking. Engine light came on a few times before it was time for the oil change and I brought car in and told them at service what was going on..I find out for this past month or 5 weeks that there is no time when they will make new engine or my car will be repaired… today I came in to get a solution for them to put me or give me a car and I continue to pay what I am budgeted to pay not a penny more!!! My family only has one vehicle my vehicle I work hard to pay. They say yes something can be looked that.. then the person assisting me tells me is not possible and they come to tell me I need 2,000 down? For what the engine malfunctioned and leaked oil.. it isn’t our fault. This damage was an accident we need to be taken care of, we are not wealthy so don’t ask for money you’re supposed to get us a new vehicle and solve this matter! Not tell us to pay more put money down like we don’t already own a car that is now messed up, ruined, broken. Why do we have a warranty? There is no Avenue, no solution. I had nothing but anxiety and a headache from the whole ordeal today, thinking what I’m I going to do???This corporation is not helping us- and they told us to call the corporation ourselves to see if they rush the engine!! What? Unbelievable. They offered us a bigger rental car in two weeks, which has been a problem but not the solution. Main problem is paying a new vehicle monthly that doesn’t exist and we don’t know if it will exist because now we are being ignored. Bringing up you don’t qualify for a better rate to get a new car isn’t the answer/ fix it! I already have an amount I am paying work with the people don’t alienate them to the point they break down. That is what I’m paying work with your customers be loyal and responsible. Don’t take advantage of that I’m continuing to pay basically nothing…a car that maybe won’t have again and you refuse to take accountability for the car being defective and leaving us basically careless without a car that we own and work hard for! I am lost. Don’t know where to turn to actually be helped where they’re not asking me for $$$ that completely inappropriate, is like being robbed taken advantage of, and for this to be solved meaning a new car for my family the car we pay for. Kacey some manager was coming up with nothing but reasons of no help to us. Asking us for money like if we ruined the car and now we gotta pay for it. And saying we get u another rental, that is not what we want, or a used car?? I said excuse me I bought a new vehicle how dare I wanna give me a used car that I’m still paying that u have no solution for your customer.the sales man was the kind but he said in the beginning all was possible then it changed!!! Don’t know why I need a vehicle comparable to pay. If the owner of the dealership exists, or a person in charge of the dealership can read this and see how wrong it is hopefully you can contact me and solve this matter! Get our family the new vehicle we’re paying for another one if possible and show u stay true to helping your customers not turning your back on them and just wanting money when in this situation we shouldn’t be asked for money at all! Hope someone can help us. I feel like as I recommended this dealership to friends who wanted to purchase a vehicle recently and told them go there! now I’m not so sure to recommend it. BEWARE! !! Customer Service Failures. My mother leased her Kia Niro here. Her lease was coming to the end and since she had barely 10K miles on a 3 year ol !! Customer Service Failures. My mother leased her Kia Niro here. Her lease was coming to the end and since she had barely 10K miles on a 3 year old car we decided it was smarter to do the buyout and keep the car. Well, the dealership tried repeatedly to add on charges, specifically a thing called a "certification" fee to her final price. This fee was in the neigherhood of $3000. I explained to her that since this fee was not part of the original contract she was not obligated to pay it. So my 70+ year old mother went to the dealership to make the final payment. They kept her for close to an hour trying ever which way to get her to agree to that "certification" fee. they went so far as to try and get her to look at a new car. Luckily she called me from the dealership and explained what was going on. I had her pass the phone to the person on the other end, who was named Casey. I simply let him know that she would not be paying any "certification" fee or any other fee that was not in the original contract at lease inception. You would have thought that would have ended the usual shenanigans and they would have taken the final payment. Nope! After all the time they wasted with her they couldn't even take the final payment. They instructed her to contact KIA finance to finalize her lease. Thanks Kia of Riverdale for trying to fast talk a 70+ year old woman into a new car, or a needless "certification" fee while wasting time. While this might not be the last Kia we own in the family, it certainly is the last time we use or let anyone we know use this dealership. More

For a first time car buyer, this place was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. It didn’t feel like I was being attacked by vultures. Originally we called and spoke about a Kia seltos. We were to be transferred to Brittani, instead Pete picked up the phone. He asked if we wanted Brittani instead but we said no it’s fine. I had read about Pete before calling, about him being an excellent guide and car salesman not even thinking we would be talking to him instantly. It’s safe to say God led us to Pete and my first new car. The process was smooth and the manger and Pete work together to get me the best deal. I also had capital one auto pre approval which helped a lot. So thank you so much Pete and Kia of Riverdale for all your hard work. Oh and the finance manger was so informative and very helpful on what type of coverage to choose on my car. Everyone please make sure you get that GAP insurance. Again, thank you all for making my first car buying experience worth the trip! Pete also checked in to make sure I remember to use my AWD for this freeze storm coming in the morning. I honestly brought my car at the perfect time. I’m sure every other car salesman in there is amazing too, God just placed us with Pete. Spilled coffee is the real coffee! If you know, you know! Drive to Riverdale Kia if you’re looking for a something new or used. They’re there to help you see it through. Drive safe everyone!!!! More
