Then they were supposed to provide car mats for the car we bought. I have made countless calls and still no mats. Left message for manager still no mats and no response from management. More
Spent over one hour trying to talk to a sales manager to discuss an issue. Was repeatedly transferred to phones that were never answered or put on hold and eventually was dropped. Repeatedly! Contacted Kia discuss an issue. Was repeatedly transferred to phones that were never answered or put on hold and eventually was dropped. Repeatedly! Contacted Kia Customer Service and they experienced the same thing. I bought a RecovR system with a new car (cash) and the dealer voided it after a day. Never informed me and I would never have known until I found the module under my passenger rather than installed correctly. Sales says it is a Service Dept issue and Service says it is a Sales issue. I had previously given them a good review for the sales process but this has been very frustrating and infuriating. Cannot recommend their post -sales customer service. Follow up - called again, again put on hold, again the call is dropped. Was subsequently told that I should call back in 3 days if I want to speak to someone! More
Worst car buying experience and horrible customer service. This place only cares about making the sale and once you leave, there is no customer service. They literally used a signature from one form service. This place only cares about making the sale and once you leave, there is no customer service. They literally used a signature from one form I signed when in person and signed about 8 other forms with it that I never signed myself. They signed forms I actually refused to sign when in person at the dealership. I purchased a car in cash over a month ago and was sold a car with active recalls, missing floor mats that were included and a missing key fob that they apparently lost. The key fob was supposed to be overnighted to me within a week, that was no problem to me at the time. The salesman never explained I would have to have it programmed and didn’t tell me that it costs hundreds of dollars to program it. They told me that after the fact probably a week and a half later when I still hadn’t received any updates about the key. Since they left out that detail I asked if they could cover the cost of that since I live in another state and I could have it don’t near my home at another dealership. Then the floor mats they told me someone probably snatched them out of there but no one will get back to me on shipping them to my house as they promised. Every single time I call they hang up on me or transfer my call all over the dealership. I have asked to speak to the manager of the dealer and have left him numerous voicemails and still nothing. I have emailed the sales manager and the salesman numerous times and still haven’t heard back. I even filed a corporate complaint about this dealership and still, nothing. Do not go to this dealership!! More
These people run a scam. Had to threaten them with legal action after they tried to sell me a lemon and then held my down-payment and financing until a lawyer was involved. Do not shop at this dealership- they are a complete ripoff. I was looking at an advertised vehicle they posted claiming to have discounted $2,494 from the used car priced at $38,493. They claim it was ripoff. I was looking at an advertised vehicle they posted claiming to have discounted $2,494 from the used car priced at $38,493. They claim it was now $35,999. When I told them I had my own financial bank providing me with a loan, the tone quickly changed. I requested for them to send me an itemized bill and they had a final price of $41,515. Over $5500 of what they claim. The use car booked value at $33,785- under perfect condition- which this one wasn’t. A regular document fee in NJ is up to $399- there’s was $799. Here was my reply to the theft “ This is why people stop going to car dealerships- the nonsense of over priced vehicles- an asset that depreciates- most NJ dealerships charge a doc fee of up to $399- yours is insane. There isn't ANYTHING in any State or Federal government that coincides with "Government Fee"- what government you talking about- Russia. And to top it off- you want to charge for "Accessories" as if the car wasn't already equipped with these features straight from manufacturer. Sorry but I ain't no fool. Keep the car!” Attach is the advertisement, the real value of the car and the quote I got from them. They deserve zero stars! More
If I could give 0 stars I would, this is the worst dealership I've ever dealt with, nothing but lies and scams. I was prepared to buy a new K5 the night I made an appointment, as I'm sitting with a sa dealership I've ever dealt with, nothing but lies and scams. I was prepared to buy a new K5 the night I made an appointment, as I'm sitting with a salesman negotiating a deal, another person from the dealership suddenly comes over and asks for keys and says another customer wants to take it for a test drive. If I wasn't seriously interested in the vehicle I wouldn't have cared so much, but really in the middle of a deal. We do the usual back and forth and it was agreed the MSRP would be the price of the vehicle, he then comes back with some absurd finance rate ( my credit rating is 750+)when it clearly had a totally different rate for that vehicle on there website which they would not honor and said it was an error and should not have been on the website. So I said I would get a rate and loan on my own and come back the next day. I wanted to put a down payment that night to hold the vehicle and the finance guy said he couldn't hold the vehicle. I've never been told that before from a car dealer. I then asked for the breakout price of the vehicle so I could return with a cashiers/certified check and they come back with a $2,000 mark up on vehicle, $800 doc fees and $1,800 etching fees. How did we just agree on one price and then you try to scam me by adding a markup fee and etching fees that were never discussed. Then in the midst of that, another guy comes over and says the car just sold. How does a car get sold when Im in the middle of purchasing it. This dealership is a bunch of liars and scam artists!! Are you guys really that greedy!! Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. More
It's been about 10 years since I purchased a car from a dealer, my last two cars were online purchases. One of those cars, a Fiat 500 2012 got totaled in an accident and I was in need of a new car. After dealer, my last two cars were online purchases. One of those cars, a Fiat 500 2012 got totaled in an accident and I was in need of a new car. After MUCH research on EV's I settled on the KIA NIRO and reached out to Kia Riverdale because they were the only ones in my area who had multiple colors to choose from. The getting-to-know-the-car process was smooth, the guy I dealt with Jayden, very personable, it was a really good experience and also dealing with his manager Mustafa. Long story short I got the car and after I had questions, as it was my first KIA EV so I reached out to the GM James Morando and the guy was awesome, so responsive, so caring about how everything went, I was honestly shocked as I thought that once I buy the car they could care less but totally opposite, they're there even after. They probably got me as a customer for life, I'm really enjoying the NIRO, it is everything I expected and more and I will definitely check this dealership first in the future when I'm back on the market because even though it is further from me than some others, these people are reliable. Run don't walk away! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. My fiance and I bought a 2019 Jeep compass end of April. It took them over a month to get us our plates although they were at I DO NOT RECOMMEND. My fiance and I bought a 2019 Jeep compass end of April. It took them over a month to get us our plates although they were at the dealership a week after we purchased the car. The salesman was just to lazy to go looking for them. After having the car for a month we started hearing weird noises coming from the transmission, which I had already told the salesman about and he said to bring it in and they'd take a look at it. So that what we did. Brought the car in mid May, after a week of the car being in the shop I called to follow up since I hadn't heard from them, turns out they hadn't even looked at it yet, stating they were too busy. Guess we weren't a priority for them. He said they would look at it that afternoon and they'd call me back. A few days go by still no call, so of course I call them to follow up. They said that they had called the warranty company earlier in the week and were waiting on the warranty company to approve the work. I happened to call the warranty company myself to see what the hold up was and they told me they had just received the claim and that they were actually waiting on Kia. They had sent in inaccurate information and needed them to run some additional tests. So basically Kia called them AFTER I called to follow up. Now at this point the car has been in the shop for over two weeks with absolutely nothing taken care of. I called Jorge back at the shop and he tried to tell me that they were waiting on the warranty again which I told him I knew was a lie. I told him that I needed my car back, I am 6 months pregnant and need a car for work and to get to dr. appointments, he said he'd talk to his manager and see what they can do, said he would call me back. A few days later still no call back, so I call them back and he puts me on hold to go talk to the manager, although supposedly he was going to do that a few days prior, he comes back on the phone and tells me they can get me a loaner. Okay fine at this point it's the least they can do since they've had my car in the shop at this point for about 3 weeks. They finally change the transmission, tell us the car is ready for pick up. I go pick it up, drive it down the street and hear a really loud sound and it smells like something is burning. You can feel the transmission changing, obvious! Seriously! How am I supposed to get back home and get around without a car again!? He apologized which at this point means absolutely nothing to me and told me he'd call me when a loaner becomes available, it is not middle of September and I'm still waiting for a call. During this whole process I also spoke to a general manager at Kia to see if there was anything that can be done seeing as the car had been in the shop since middle of may and it's one problem after another. He said there was not much they could do, that once the car is off the lot it becomes the customers responsibility, that it is up to the dealership to decide how to handle. He said what they could do is buy the car back from us, but of course at a lower price. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! They do not care about their customers at all. They got their money and they could care less about anything else. Customer service sucks, the mechanics seems like they are straight out of school and have no idea what they are doing, and all they did was lie to me about everything. I finally brought the car somewhere else and within a day they already figured out what was wrong and had already contacted the warranty to get all the work approved. Definitely nothing like the service I received at Kia. More
