When I showed him the missing mudflap they asked me if I wanted an estimate. Car has 7500 miles on it and they won't cover it under warranty. After first stating that all the mudflaps on the car without even looking they said that the mudflap looks like it was ripped off. They say they need the part to return for The warranty. But then they say that they have to order the whole wheel well. Because it's one piece. So if it's one peace then would have the existing wheel well to return for warranty. They want to charge me $360 for a little mudflap that probably cost no more than $100 for the whole wheel well lining. I should've listened to the reviews and gone to a different dealership. When I bought the car they said by my first oil change they were moving to a new bigger place and that the Service department would improve. The salesman told me they moved the whole dealership for one day and move back because the deal fell through. Sounds like a marketing scheme over the holidays to make you think you're buying a car from a modern up-to-date facility. More

Made an appointment for a clogged AC drain, get there and a guy from a sister dealership is manning the service desk. He knows nothing about KIA's, and says they are backed up and can't take me nor does he have a log on to check for warranty. He says I can leave the car but prints the repair order that says diagnostic charge for $145. I refuse to sign and told him I'll make another appointment. Second visit, the guy says he's backed up and he can't look at the car today. xxx, why do they have appointments when they can't even service the vehicles that they sell. Always knew all the Grossinger dealerships get low ratings but since it's the closest KIA dealership so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Even for routine services like oil changes, they seem to always mess it up somehow. Never coming back here again and don't believe those customer testimonials on their website. I complained to KIA corporate last time for their crappy service and KIA sent me a $100 gift card as an apology. More
Lies, deception and broken promises. Their Internet Sales department is off the lot with no direct communication with actual sales team. Wasted many many hours prior to the sale making sure all is ready when department is off the lot with no direct communication with actual sales team. Wasted many many hours prior to the sale making sure all is ready when picking up my vehicle. And what? When arrived 2012 van was dirty from sitting on a lot for days, would not even start due to dead battery. Inside required vacuuming and basic cleaning. All of this supposed to done ahead of time. I called hours before arriving and was assured it will be ready. Also, the price increased by $1k even though Christian, "from internet sales" assured me that the price is agreed as in my original email. The Store Manager claim he never approved, so Christian lied lied lied. Never got him on the conference call to do a three way and admit it, Grossinger manager was verifying story off line. Spent over three hours that night at the dealership to close the supposedly all done deal. NEVER trust them even in wring. I could never talk to the same person, always messages were relayed and conveniently changed. WORST experience ever, especially after I made sure all is covered before driving out there out of state to pickup my van. Even the title paperwork that was to be sent to me the next day took 3 days to resolve with many phone calls on my part because dealership could care less. The next month I have purchased a new vehicle from Rosen Nissan. I was out in 45 minutes, everything ready to go. Now, that's service! More

Got online quote for 2011 Kia Optima EX with Premium Pkg for $23,767+Tax+TTL. They did not have in stock the one I wanted (white) and offered me another option but the problem happened on trade. I already spoke on phone and asked if they are willing to pay a certain amount for my trade. They said rough estimate is ok for the price range but exact quote can be given only on visual inspection - fair enough. But, then, when I reached there they first tried to sell in-stock car. I actually changed my mind and thought ok I can go for the other color but then, couple of other customers showed interest in the same car and that made the dealer act as to blow me off or as if they wanted me out of there. If they did not like pricing, as a good customer service, they could have said that plainly but intead they chose a usual dealership tricky way. Wated lot of time and then, finally quoted $5,000 below the trade-in ask price. Basically, just wanted to get rid of me at that time, as they saw other interested customers. They wasted lot of my time and I went roundtrip of 100 miles for nothing even after I spoke at phone before hand. Overall, I would rate this a very bad experience. More
