Worst service ever, Felix the manager worst person ever, very rude and unprofessional. Mechanics don’t know how to do their job. I took my 2017 Kia Optima with a Check Engine light and shaking problems when I tried to drive the car. Took car for repair was charged $1,200 to get it fix with the promised that I wasn’t going to have the same problem again they said I had a 12-month warranty on the work. 2-weeks later the check Engine light came back again, took it back and they said I had to pay $1,200 again to get it fixed. I was upset because I had already paid $1,200 to get it fix on top of that they said their work had warranty. So I asked to speak to the manager, he was very rude from the start, you could see that he wasn’t happy to be confronted because his team’s work had failed I explained him that I wasn’t willing to pay another $1,200 for the work that was supposed to be done l2-weeks earlier. He said if I wanted to get my car fixed I had to pay again for a different treatment that they needed to do, to get rid of the Check Engine light and the shaking of the car. I asked him why do I have to pay 2 times for them to do the job that was supposed to be done when I first took the car? He said because it was a different part that they didn’t, change because their system didn’t show before, since at that point I didn’t trust their diagnosis I requested a refund for the work that they didn’t do. He said he couldn’t do that and if I didn’t want to get my car fixed at their place I had to pay a service fee $300 for the diagnostic that they did that second time, otherwise I wasn’t going to be able to get my car back. I was outraged when I heard that and told him that wasn’t right,. He tried to calm me down by saying that If I was willing to have my car fix there he was going to give me a discount ($100) and promised that he was going to make sure that the work would be done properly so that I wouldn’t have the same issues again. Since I needed my car fix and they had already messed up once I thought the second time for sure they will fix it so I accepted. But 3-weeks later the car started doing the same thing and Check Engine light is back again. I called the same manager that promised to make sure that my car was fixed properly and when I stated the reason for my call, he hanged up on me. How unprofessional of him, instead of facing the problem like a man of his word should. He hanged up on me and when I called him back he didn’t answer. I used to hear a lot of people say that mechanics and dealers take advantage of women, but I never believed it but now I do. More
Kia of Linconwood is CRIMINAL/ FRAUDULENT! !!! If I could give less than one star, I would. Sales rep, Kevin, forced me to originally write this review as "Kevin was wonderful to work with; !!! I was told my car would be ready in 1-2 days. After three months of constant following up with Kia and poor communication from them, they finally gave me my car. When starting payments it was discovered I was charged $17K more than the $36.7K sticker price (before interest). Better Business Bureau rates them an F... I am not alone. Do not become a victim!!! More

I had an interest rate of 6.7% and I had to accept theirs since I could not request another loan with my bank and it was 15%... now the car consumes oil less than 9 months after leaving there... predator practices is a disgusting place to go for a car. Was interested in buying a 2018 Tucson and was talking with sales person whom seemed very nice, but when talking to the financial officer he stated that it was mandatory that I buy the Lojack and upholste with sales person whom seemed very nice, but when talking to the financial officer he stated that it was mandatory that I buy the Lojack and upholstery protection. These are options that I didn't need or want, And that was the deal breaker because according to him I had to buy it for an extra $4,200. For a $16,000 car. Ridiculous sales tactic that made him loose a sale that I was willing to pay cash for. More

[They pay for fake google reviews] A personal example of how they operate : 1. They did not show me the FULL car fax report. Instead of showing me on the computer, where the first thing I would see is the OPEN RECALL notice on the first page. They printed it out in the back office arranged the paperwork backwards and kept it behind a folder like a deck of cards, then Proceeded to only showed me the positive data points. I was never shown that it had an open recall. Had I known I would not have baught the car. (Lying by omission) 2. When I turned down the xylon insurance package. They told me it was company policy and that I had to buy it(just a straight lie). when I asked for the terms and conditions on how and when I could use it they just sent me the receipt for the purchase with no additional information. It’s essentially $2000 piece of paper as I wouldn’t trust them with a penny let alone my leave my car with them. 3. The car was sold to me with all 4 tires at 3/32 tire tread. At 2/32 they would not have been able to legally sell me that car with those tires. This was done right before winter the most dangerous times to drive on such tires. I almost got into several accidents because the car did not stop as it should have. Not knowing the tires were completely bald. The car only had 30k miles and it was at the dealership for a week after I bought it which is when I believe the tires were swapped. And yes it’s already cost me $800+ to dispose of their old tires for them for free. All this within the first 3 months having the vehicle I’m not naming names because it pointless. This is systemic (for the whole grand theft auto group also known as “leader automotive group” ) THEY ARE A NIGHMARE More
Unfortunately, I am having the same issues as all the people below. My car has gone in to get "fixed" for the same issue 5 times - GPS doesn't work. I purchased a used vehicle in 08/2022. A couple of months ago the check engine light came on. Finally was able to speak with someone to make an appointment to see the car.. Well the check engine is on again and as usual no one will speak to me or return a call from the service department. I was able to get in contact with Frank the customer service rep/advocate for the consumer who suggested I call another dealership for service. Why wouId call another dealership I? I don't expect anyone to stop what they are doing to answer my calls but I do expect to be acknowledged at some point which never happens. I regret setting foot in this dealership and purchasing a Kia. The customer service skills suck big time. I have not had a pleasant experience at all and they don't care. They never disclosed that Kia's were being stolen at the rate that they were being stolen at the time of purchase, which I guess why would they if they want a sale. After the transaction was complete they were done with me. Once the deal is sealed they wipe their hands clean of you. Communication becomes null and void. I guess I was just another sucker to them. It makes no sense that I have to look to other dealerships/mechanics other than Kia because Kia of Lincolnwood doesn't respond to the needs of certain customer. I'm more than certain that not everyone is treated as such. I'm guessing it depends on how you look. If you are told that purchasing Xzilon , the interior and exterior protection plan, is mandatory it is a lie. It is optional. I was lied to about Xzilon and I never received information on how to use it or who to contact. I'm paying for a service that I am not benefitting from because once again that's my problem not Kia of Lincolnwood. One star for this dealership is a higher rating than what I would give it. More
