Have bought three Sarentos and an Optima from Rod and never knew him before our first purchase. Service department is 1st rate, always courteous on the phone and in person. I came in with a tough situation I was in....I owed a lot of money on my car. Tom and the guys at kia did an awesome job and i love the car i got. I would recommend going to Kia and seeing Tom. I went to Kia in July and bought a Sorento. I always wanted an SUV but after driving it for several months I decided it was just to big. I went back to KIA on December 10,2010 and found Billy. I expla wanted an SUV but after driving it for several months I decided it was just to big. I went back to KIA on December 10,2010 and found Billy. I explained how I just didn't like driving such a large vehicle and the first words out of his mouth were "No problem, let me get some keys and we'll find the right vehicle for you". I drove a Sportage and decided I really didn't want an SUV after all. Then I drove the Forte which was OK. He then handed me the keys to the Optima. I drove it, then had my husband drive it so I could ride in the back seat to see how comfortable it was. I was sold and told Billy this was the car I wanted. Never once, during all the test drives did he make me feel bad for changing my mind. All he cared about was that I was happy with the vehicle I was going to drive, and let me tell you I LOVE my Optima. I've driven alot of cars in my 50+ years and nothing will ever compare to the awesomeness of this car. And as for rating Billy Keck, a ten doesn't go high enough. I give him a 80+. In the past when I bought a car the salesmen always want to push. They want you name, phone number and wew so insistant. Not Billy, the first time I went to KIA he politely introduced himself and I gave him my first name. Later, after showing me several vehicles he asked if he could get my last name & phone number and when I said No, he said no problem. You check out as many dealers as you'd like, and when you're ready to buy I'm confident you'll come back to see me. Was I impressed. I went to alot of dealers and he was right. When I made up my mind I went back to KIA and that's when I bought the Sorento. As we left the lot that day he said if I ever needed anything come back and he'd be there to help me and he was. If every KIA salesperson treated their customers like Billy does KIA would corner the market. He should be used as an example for employees at KIA. More
