The service at KIA in Lincoln was horrible! My mother has a KIA and she said it was a good price. That was the only thing good about KIA. Her drivers side door will not open and she found out it has happened a KIA and she said it was a good price. That was the only thing good about KIA. Her drivers side door will not open and she found out it has happened to quite a few other people who owned KIA's. When she took it in to the service dept they were very rude to her as she asked about a recall. KIA does not stand behind their work. So, if you want a cheap car go buy a KIA. It is cheap in every sense of the word. More
i came to kia because my family is growing and my 2 3 passanger trucks wont carry all of us at once. my wife and i went to look at getting a bigger vehicle, and we were going to trade in one of the truc passanger trucks wont carry all of us at once. my wife and i went to look at getting a bigger vehicle, and we were going to trade in one of the trucks. we were tould that they only had one car that the banks would go for we had a limit of 200 a month with no mony down. the truck we were trying to trade we barly afford and were curntly paying 300 a month for it. they tried to get us to buy it this kia forte for 360 a month. they say they go through 30 banks to try and get you a vehicle for me they only tried 4. the 2013 base kia soul is roughly 16,999 with few ad,ons they tried o sell 2010 kia forte for 18,899 then said they cut 3000 off the car making it 15,899 to try and make it look like a good deal. i have driven trucks all my life i never liked cars and thats all they were willing to try and get us into. the kia of lincoln lies on there raido ad and they only try to get you in to the minamum vehicle for the maxium price. I have purchased 2 new cars from Kia of Lincoln and have been happy with the cars. Service however is not what it was when I bought my 2nd car 3 years ago. Recently I took my car in for an oil change and been happy with the cars. Service however is not what it was when I bought my 2nd car 3 years ago. Recently I took my car in for an oil change and a free detailing offer. I was told that if my car wasn't going to be done by 4:30 I would receive a call. When no call came my husband dropped me off and went on home as we had somewhere to be at 5:30. The person in the service department was rude and condescending. No apology for not calling only indicating that it was my fault the car wasn't ready because I showed up 15 minutes early. While waiting I went into the show room to speak with a salesman and he was too busy looking at Facebook to talk to me. Thanks Kia for the free detailing because I received top trade in value ($2,000 more than you were offering me) at Honda of Lincoln and am now driving a Honda Civic Hybrid. More
I just have to say that Jason in service is the best. He is always straight forward about repairs and really cares about the customer. I had to bring my Sorento in for repair and leave it overnight. He gave me the name of a company to get a rental from and when I returned the rental less than 24 hours later, they accused me of putting a chip in the windshield and said that they would probably have to make a claim against my insurance. Jason went to battle for me, called the rental company and made sure that I wouldn't have to pay for the chip. It's the above and beyond service that will keep me coming back and I've already decided my next new car purchase will be from Kia of Lincoln! If Kia has an employee of the month program, Jason should get the award! Thanks again! More
I went to Kia of Lincoln because I hear about them all the time on the radio. After looking at some cars for 15min, not one sales person came to help me. No biggie so I went inside and found around 8 sale the time on the radio. After looking at some cars for 15min, not one sales person came to help me. No biggie so I went inside and found around 8 sales people just standing around, none of which said anything to me. After I finally met a shaddy acting salesman named rod i asked for a price for the car i was interested, he told me he would have to ask a manager. I test drove the used kia then sat down at Rod's desk and asked for the price again Which he replied again with he'd have to ask the manager. He then went to look at my car for trade, he came back about 20min later, and offered $9000 for my car which was worth $16000 trade in and yes i got more than that at another local dealer after this encounter at kia of Lincoln. Then he proceed to tell me i could make a deal if i put down $3000 to $4000 dollars, keeping in mind i never got a price on the car after 4 times of asking for it. I argued it about his pricing and told him he was way off and asked how he got his numbers he showed me a nada book where he never added options or milage, he explained this made no difference,(lol) and was offering me the lowest price. Then i asked him to show me his kia in this book which he refused and i said well that's because your car is worth less than mine and i was asked to leave. To add insult to injury before they drove my car they asked if there was anything of value in my car and i thought "that's a funny question to ask" but then after i left hours later, to grab a quick bite eat i noticed they had stole the change out of my center console........... well i guess they made $3 off me after insulting me all day... We were referred to John for mechanic service work. I live out of town and have a daughter who is a college grad student in Lincoln. Which is stressful enough at this point, let alone car problems. It is very difficult to live out of town and to try and handle things long distance. We were very appreciative of the same day service and repair! They stressed the urgency in repair that would be best for our daughter's safety with the vehicle. We left town feeling better about her driving a repaired vehicle. We were very impressed with the service we received from John and Lauren! They were very helpful! If you have any employee recognition or incentive programs, please refer John and Lauren on the behalf of our complete customer satisfaction! I came to the dealmiership to compare mpg's with Kia's only hybrid model with that of the other makes: Ford, Chevy, and Toyota. The sales guy (I think his name was Greg) told me that their mechanics could only hybrid model with that of the other makes: Ford, Chevy, and Toyota. The sales guy (I think his name was Greg) told me that their mechanics couldn't work on the hybrid, so they didn't sell them. He then told me that since he couldn't sell them, he didn't even care to learn anything about them. It felt like he dismissed me from his presence and I came away with the knowledge that I will NEVER purchase a Kia. EVER. Very bad experience. More
Our salesman Billy Keck did an amazing job in which he sold us a 2012 Kia Sportage. Billy was on top of his game!!! After we drove the vehicle, there was no heckling on the price. We came to an agreement in less than 5 minutes and the vehicle was ours. Paperwork was smooth and well explained and it took only a couple of minutes. The finance manager went over the last few details in a very short time, and we were done!!! In all my years of buying vehicles, this has been the easist and most fun in buying a vehicle. I was given a tour of the service department and met the service advisors. A follow-up call the day after our purchase was great. Billy was checking to see if things were OK. This has been the most outstanding dealership we have ever worked with. More
