First, let me start with the positives! Humberto agreed to try to find the exact car that we wanted and even gave us a new Sorento to drive while he was searching for the next three days! Gayle was very helpful and informative during the closing of the deal. She offered the many warranty extentions and additional products professionally and handled our sale quickly and pleasantly. Those people did a fine job. However, I have a thing about the "Manager", you know the guy that sits in the raised bullpen that makes the salesperson walk back and forth and back and forth during the negotiations. If just once Gerald had walked over to us, and sat down for just a few minutes, we could have saved probably 1/2 hour of Dorothy having to walk over and back to try to close the deal. It would have been nice if he had even just introduced himself and told us that he would be working the deal for Dorothy. I don't like being given the "hands-off" approach to selling anything. Managers should at least have some interface with the customer during their visit. I had two requests that never were cleared up or explained well by anyone. The vehicle that they had on the lot which almost perfectly met our requirements had a side step on the vehicle. My wife nor I like the side step and wanted it removed. We were told that the side step was required since the vehicle had the "premium" package, but they could remove it for us. We took them at their word. Subsequently, we found out that the side step IS in fact an OPTION, and was shown as that on the window sticker. The step was $495.00 installed, but we were told it would cost about $600 to remove it and install the new rocker panel. So we sucked it up and agreed to it. Additionally we wanted Mud Guards installed on the vehicle, but were told by management that mud guards could not be installed on the SX model. Every other vehicle in the Sorento line could handle them, but not the SX. The mud guards were on our initial list of things to be on the vehicle, but until it went to service for the actual install, THEN we found out it couldn't happen according to the service personnel! Another frustration after the deal was made. Lastly, Kia has a $1500 rebate for either a competive or loyalty situation for customers. But when we went to find Hyundai on either list, Hyundai was not listed as a competitor, or as a loyalty qualifying brand. The Hyundai has to be either one or the other, and shouldn't be just left out since it is their "sister" brand. That situation also makes no sense. I would go back to Bill Bryan Kia again to purchase another vehicle, but, this time with all of my paperwork to make sure I knew everything there was to know about the vehicle, the options and the rebate programs. As I stated earlier, everyone was very friendly, sans Gerald, and the Kia is a great vehicle. The dealership is premier in friendliness, cleanliness and inventory. My items listed above were not necessarily deal breakers, but just frustrations along the way. I said to Dorothy numerous times as we picked up the new Sorento, "we love the car, but shame on me for not having all my info together" during the deal making. More

She is the ultimate professional with great product knowledge, attention to detail, courtesy and a friendly personality. Dorothy took time to show us around the dealership and let us meet the service department personnel making us feel comfortable. We have never had that experience at any other car dealership. Randy Bowser, the finance specialist, was also very helpful and knowlegeable in explaining the different service options as well as the paperwork involved in our transaction. Although we first searched online for vehicles and initially chose Bill Bryan Kia because of location, we certainly are happy to have chosen your dealership. The physical appearance and professional attitude shown us was excellent.
