I fell in love with car. When I purchased it Ben showed me the ropes around KIA. The staff their are very friendly and caring. So then I purchased a 2012 soul and awesome dependable car. Again the staff and Jeff the salesmen was very reasonable and patient with our time. So just recently we traded in our soul and forte for a 2014 sorento and 2013 optima. I have been so impressed with the staff and especially Jeff and Skip to make the deal happend. I have referred 3 people to go their and they have all purchased a vehicle their. They have treated me with respect and care. I will continue my business for a new vehicle and looking to see what will be the next generation. If you have read this I encourage you to check them out. I come to this location to get my oil changed. On my third visit for an oil change I left and my clock/radio was not on. I began pressing the button to turn it on and it still would not work. Immediately, I turned around and went back to the service station to notify them of this. The man I spoke with came over and said that he had no idea why it would not be working because the oil change has nothing to do with that. However, they provide you with a sheet that shows everything they checked on your vehicle which includes a full inspection of the vehicle, including the a/c unit (which was on full blast when I got into the vehicle and I didn't have it on prior because I rarely use my air). So, whoever performed the "review" would of noticed that none of that was working and they could of taken the opportunity to say something and they did not. From there, the man began to tell me that they could "look into the problem" but that it would require them to completely remove my dash to find it. Everything about his response felt very fake and phony and having common sense (and previous experience with an old car), I quickly told him "no" on his offer and left. I went straight home and asked my husband to open my fuse box to see if this was really an issue of my vehicle or something else (everything worked fine prior to my oil change) and the fuse was there but it was pulled out. A fuse is nothing that can just "slip" out - it has to be taken out by force, like with pliers for example. Once he plugged the fuse back in everything worked just fine. At that point, I reached out to the gentleman who sold me the vehicle because I could not get a hold of the main manager and he told me he would personally put in a call to the main manager, Skip Young. Skip called me back and left a message apologizing for the situation and said that he valued my business and would be available to speak with in person if necessary. I called him back and left a message to meet with him and he never returned my call. Up to that point, I never had any problems with their service but this situation has shown me I need to be cautious, particularly being a woman. At this point, my trust has been depleted, and as a result, they have lost all future business with me. More
I stopped in to look at a used truck,I test drove it and told salesman that I was interested. He took all my info and told me he would run paperwork first thing in the morning because it was late in the da told salesman that I was interested. I told him I would take it and be there as soon as I got out of work. They sold the truck an hour later to someone else. The sales manager response was its a cut throat business. More
My wife and I came in to just look around and before we new it we where test driving a new sorento and fell in love with it. Best service and the staff was very polite and fun. I also had the opportunity to meet Skip Young, Owner of Kia of Lansing and Kia of Jackson. Skip worked one on one with us and made buying a new car a possibility for us. We are now the proud owners of a brand new 2013 Kia Soul +. We have owned the vehicle for a day now and love it. Hats off to the team at Kia of Lansing. We could not be happier with the service. More
The service department appears to be concerned with the customer's satisfaction and vehicle. I have visited the service department twice since purchasing my Rio, for very minor issues (tape lft on the rig customer's satisfaction and vehicle. This is a first class dealership with afriendly and helpful staff that are not pushy and sincere.
