He wasnt pushy or one of those annoying salesman we’ve all experience. Finance department was even a pleasure to sit down with and discuss and explain packages. I will be back to purchase a newer one in about 4 years. Make your first stop here! You will not be disappointed Melissa More

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM YGIS DEALER WITHOUT SEEING TGE WINDOW STICKER FIRST. I would never go back to this dealership for what they did. I purchased a new car which was being delivered from the factory. I WINDOW STICKER FIRST. I would never go back to this dealership for what they did. I purchased a new car which was being delivered from the factory. I told the salesman that would be willing to pay the full window sticker price of the vehicle. He gave me a price of the car which I assumed was the worst dow sticker price. The vehicle was delivered And we came to pick it up and pay for it. I asked to see the wi dow sticker which was removed before we got there. Salesman said they lost it so we continued with the processing. I asked the salesman for a copy of the wi dow sticker and he said he’d get one in a few days from the factory. We sat down with the finance manager to complete the paperwork. On the phone with our bank the bank requested a copy of the vehicle value, the manufacturer retail suggested price. He had a copy of the wi dow sticker which we later got a copy from the bank. We asked him for a copy and said it would be with the paperwork he gave us. It wasn’t. We called him after we left and he said he couldn’t get a copy until after the weekend. Both this manager and the salesman avoided showing us the window sticker. A few days later the salesman called and said they found the sticker and sent me a copy. Attached on a separate paper was an supplement addition to the factory price of $8,000 called a market value adjustment. When I called to ask about it the salesman said it was common practice to raise the price on this type of vehicle. I wasn’t informed about this price adjustment at the time of the sale and wasn’t allowed to see the window sticker before buying the car. This practice is deceiving and doesn’t allow the buyer to decide if they want to pay more then the car is worth. The sticker price was $31,000 and the dealer added $8,000 to that manufacture suggested retail price. I feel that they purposely avoided showing me the retail price on the window to make me aware of them raising the sales price of this new car. I will never purchase a vehicle again from any dealership who does this. Be honest and forthright with your customers More
This review is for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT (I had no issues with the initial purchase of my car). I brought my car in for a Kia recall due to a possible fire hazard, the service was SCHEDULED on 4/28/2 issues with the initial purchase of my car). I brought my car in for a Kia recall due to a possible fire hazard, the service was SCHEDULED on 4/28/2021, to bring the car in for the service on 5/5/2021. Upon calling, I advised I would like to have the recall taken care of along with getting a oil change, I spoke with a lady who advised that would be great, and giving a week notice will give them plenty of time to get the needed parts in for the recall. I took my car in for service on 5/5/2021 around 8:40am for a 9:00am appointment, spoke with Michael Falkner, advised I was there for the oil change and recall, he said no problem, asked if I was going to wait for the vehicle or drop off, advised I would be dropping off as I had read online the recall took a few hours to fix. Michael advised he would call me when the vehicle was ready. I received a phone call from Michael at 10:35am advising me that my vehicle was ready, and they “unfortunately could not fix the recall because the part is on a national backorder”. I was rather confused by this, as to why I was not told this while making the appointment, and was assured with me scheduling early would give plenty of time for the part to arrive. Also why was I not called to advise the part had not arrived, so I could have saved myself a nearly 2hr drive from Honaker VA, for a simple oil change, I could have used a local garage. Upon entering to retrieve my car, Michael said how am I doing, I advised I was rather pi$$ed off due to the recall not being fixed, he said “oh sorry, let me walk you over to pay for the oil change”. I paid the over $60.00 for the oil change, and on the receipt there is a message that “if you are not totally satisfied with service, call the manager Carl Stewart” which I did. I spoke to Carl at 11:32am, to which he explained the issue with the “national backorder” on the part, and advised that I should have been called to be advised that the part was not there. Carl assured me he was going to do some homework on this, and asked my permission for a call back in 20-30 minutes, to which I agreed. This was on 5/5/21 at 11:32 am, today is 5/10/2021 at 8:47am, and I am still awaiting that phone call. Very disappointed in the service I have received from Grindstaff Kia and the lies spewed by the service department. I would advised to look elsewhere for your vehicle needs, as it seems there is only good service when the buying process is happening. More
