My experience at the Kia Everett service station left much to be desired. I brought in my 2023 Kia Sorento, still under warranty, to address a fogged headlamp on the driver's side. Despite expecting a st much to be desired. I brought in my 2023 Kia Sorento, still under warranty, to address a fogged headlamp on the driver's side. Despite expecting a straightforward fix, I was informed that the replacement of the headlamp panel, costing around $3000, wouldn't be covered by the warranty. The reason? Allegedly, damage caused by an external object like a stone doesn't qualify. I pressed the representative for clarification, as there were no visible signs of impact, but received no satisfactory explanation. Despite promises of follow-up, my inquiries were met with silence, with no returned calls despite multiple attempts. Frustrated by the lack of communication and assistance, I reached out to other Kia service centers in Shoreline, Tacoma, and Kirkland, all of which assured me the repair would indeed be covered under warranty. Ultimately, I took my car to the Tacoma (Fife) service station, where they promptly addressed the issue at no cost to me. It's baffling that while warranties are typically backed by the parent company, this service center (Kia of Everett) seemed hesitant to honor it. The poor communication and reluctance to uphold warranty commitments were deeply disappointing. More
