Appointment DUH ??? And coupons watch out We called about 3 weeks ahead for an appointment to get our oil changed as we had other business in town. The appointment was at 9am. We were told it would be over an hour wait as 3-4 vehicles were ahead of us. How can that be when you schedule an appointment 3 weeks in advance . I had a coupon for the special oil change deal going on at that time . When my car was finally in the service area I was informed that it needed an air and cabin filter , the cost for both filters was $55 to which I agreed . When the service was completed the cont should have been $82 with the coupon but I was charged $105. I was hurried because of the delay and called later to find out the the coupon had not been applied. The work has always been good with no issues on any service we have but I have to say watch your wallet . Make sure you are charged correctly. More

A great place to buy a car and to get service I bought a 2017 Kia Soul from this dealership last year. I was totally satisfied: Friendly, professional people, and a good price. Since then we've been using Kia Columbia for all the service work for my Soul and for my wife's 2013 Sedona. We always get in and out quickly, with great service. Mike Velasquez was exceptionally helpful for our last service visit. We had an oil leak in my wife's Sedona, which we were planning to drive to Florida the next day. Mike couldn't get the parts needed in time, but he offered to do the work while we were gone and to start the car every few days to keep the battery charged. He also went to the extra effort to verify the extended warranty I had bought from another dealer, getting it applied to this work, and saving me several hundred dollars. Great job, Mike! More
Prices at the end was not what was quoted but was remedied I came into Kia of Columbia (719 Business Loop West, Columbia, MO 65203) for a mount and balance of four tires and and a 4-wheel alignment. I brought in with me 4 brand new General tires and the TPMS RBK Basic Kit 1100K. I also brought in a $25 coupon for work done over $100. This was their quote: Mount and Balance of 4 tires and the Disposal of 4 tires........$78.00 4-Wheel Alignment..........................................................................$70.00 Less: $25 coupon............................................................................$25.00- Should be (nothing else was done)............................................$123.00. When I got my invoice (which was very confusing), the total bill was $142.95. It broke down as follows: Mount and balance of 4 tires and the disposal of 4 tires........$74.00 4-Wheel Alignment..........................................................................$79.95 SS CP Shop Supplies (this was under the Alignment)...............$14.00 Less: $25 coupon.............................................................................$25.00- Total Invoice Amount.....................................................................$142.95 In essence, Kia of Columbia dropped the price of the mount and balance by $4, padded the price of the alignment by $10, and threw in the cost for supplies of $14 (what supplies are needed for an alignment?). So my coupon was essentially only $5 instead of $25 (after padding $20 to the quoted price, $10 + $14 - $4 = $20). I did not dispute it because it was still a good price (after calling around the Columbia area for quotes), but why does Kia of Columbia put out a coupon when they are just going to dishonor it by padding the prices? Needless to say, I did not walk out of the dealership with a good purchase experience. After writing this review, the owner and manager of Kia of Columbia, Dan Kellar, reached out to me, apologized for my experience, and refunded me $20. Also I was very happy with the work they did on my car, it was top-notch. I sincerely wish though that Kia of Columbia would better understand what is needed to truly delight the customer. I think they are worth a second chance. More

The new owners are phenomenal at reaching to customers who might not be pleased with Sales or Service and as they say, "bend over backwards" to negotiate an amiable solution. I am such a customer and I can't recall an auto dealership trying so much to ensure that a customer is retained by positively meeting the customers needs. Great job in turning a negative experience into an overwhelming positive one by offering generous resolutions! Kudos! More

Was offered a loaner, but then told they didn't have any available. 5 hours after I'd arrived at my appointment my car was finally done. The final insult was when I was urged to give them a score of 10 when Kia calls. Yeah, right. Avoid this place like the plague. More
