I was treated very poorly and they were very dishonest. I left with the dealership with a used 2001 Camry. 1 hour after purchasingg the car off the lot, the "check engine" light illuminated. I tried to return the car and they said that I had signed the contract and it could not be returned. My friends and I tried to reason with them to give us a better deal and they did not want to work with us and they were extremely nasty. We were there for 5 hours. They checked out the car and said the light appeared because the gas cap was not on tightly.

The next morning the light came on again. I tried to get the car inspected in PA and he said that he could not check it because of the light. I called the dealer 4 times and tried to speak with anyone and no one took my calls.

Friday I returned and they asked me to come back Monday. I dropped off the car and picked it up in the evening. The invoice said," cleaned EGR valve, may need new valve if OLI light return. Not covered under warr. $400. PL tax. The next morning the "check engine" light came on again. I returned the car again. When I arrived the service representative told me that it said the I had to get the valve fixed. He took the issue to the sales managers in both dealerships and they both said "no". He had advised me to get the paperwork stating that it had failed the PA Inspection. There is a clause on the contract that says, "the laws of NJ require to make all necessary repairs, w/o charge, or return the full purchaseprice to the customer in the evernt a used vehicle sold and intende to be registered in this State fails to meet State Inspection..."

The car was reinspected and failed the PA Emissions. I returned to the dealer only to be denied service by the sales managers and informed that it was not covered under the warranty that was given with the car nor under the extended warranty.

I pleaded with him. I even offered to meet them half way. He had me wait for 45 minutes to tell me "no". He then told me that I should take the car to a Toyota dealer before I got it fixed because the mechanic was unsure that it was the valve. So that meant that I had to pay for the diagnostic test out of my own pocket.

I took it back to the mechanic they sent me to, to get the car inspected and he found out the problem immediately. He pinpointed the problem as the oxygen sensor. Several other people, 3 of whom are not mechanics, told me it was probably the sensor and they could not pinpoint it at the dealership. The mechanic was gracioous enough to check out my car for free and charged me about $250.

I called Lemon Law lawuers, Attorney Generals, BBB's, Consumer groups in both PA and NJ and they could not help me.

I want to know why they sell cars that they do not know how to service. I know that they were aware of the problem while it was on the lot. They had reset the light to make it look legitimate. Also the car should of been inspected before it was able to be driven off the lot but it was not.

I plan to take this to small claims court just for some type of justice.

I cried for 2 days because I was so upset about how they treated me and how they have the audacity to treat anyone such as they do. They inflated the price of my car and gave me a high interest rate. I could of afforded a new car and I was blinded enough to get into such a rotten deal with an irreputable dealership. More
I recently visited the cherry hill triplex, and have had an horrible experience. They let me drive an used grand cherokee for the weekend to think over and I agreed to leave my trade in. On monday, I deci an horrible experience. They let me drive an used grand cherokee for the weekend to think over and I agreed to leave my trade in. On monday, I decided that I would like t keep my trade, and went there to get it back. They told me that I was not able to get it back because the gen. manager had to be there. The said he would be there tomorrow. The next day I went there again and after two hours of them trying toi get me to still by the car w/o my trade , they said I was unable to take my car back becasuse the gen. manager stepped out. Since then I have been trying to get a hold of someone so that I could get my trade back-They don't have the title so I don't know how this is allowed. No body will return my phone calls and when I call up there I get put on hold or disconnected. THE PLACE SUCKS! More
We saw the $8000 commercial my friends its not true at all and they try to sell you an expensive car that you will not be able to handle the payments.I don't know why the state allows this type of busines all and they try to sell you an expensive car that you will not be able to handle the payments.I don't know why the state allows this type of business practices.we think they should not be allowed to do business in pa.My friends, do not go there it will be a waste of time and gas i suggest you look into a different dealership.DO NOT GO TO CHERRY HILL TRIPLEX THEY ARE BUNCH OF THIEVES MY FRIENDS. We were tricked by the commercial about the Cherry Hill Triplex, which claimed to give $8,000-10,000 for any car. In our case the salespeople did all they could to prolong the time, confuse us, and get us Triplex, which claimed to give $8,000-10,000 for any car. In our case the salespeople did all they could to prolong the time, confuse us, and get us to sign the contract in a rush, without answering any questions about the deal: nothing about the price of the car, the details of the 10,000 dollar trade, etc, although we asked these questions several times.

We spent over 4 hours at the dealership. We do understand that it was stupid to sign the contract without knowing that by the law of NJ you cannot cancel a contract even immediately after signing it. The next day, 12 hours after the deal, right after the dealership opened, we went over there to cancel the contract, and only then found out that we could not do it by NJ law.
We decided to cancel the deal because:
1) The trade is a lie, to which the financial manager, admitted to the next day.
2) The price on the car has been extremely exaggerated, which has been covered up through the trade.

We therefore did not want anything to do with this dealership, in the main business of which the basis is a lie.

We had to, again, visit this dealership to try and solve our problem, and again were assured that they exaggerated their own prices, which were presented on their website (http://www.cherryhilltriplex.com), by at least $6,000.

We would like to warn everyone about our experience. We would like to say that the business of Cherry Hill is based on lying to the customer. We did not meet any other company in NJ that would make such an offer. The others have a conscience and believe in God.

Anyway, before visit Cherry Hill Triplex will be useful check these web-sites for car prices: http://www.cars.com and http://www.carsdirect.com

We would like to connect with everyone who also got offended by this faulty business. Watch the Channel 10 . Tracey Davidson is doing a consumer alert on Cherry Hill Triplex. It may possibly air the week of 4-1-04.

This dealership sold me a truck and would not honor my Chrysler consumer alert on Cherry Hill Triplex. It may possibly air the week of 4-1-04.

This dealership sold me a truck and would not honor my Chrysler Warranty. Chrysler even told me I had to take the vehicle to the dealer that sold me the truck!

I have currently filed a small claims court case against Cherry Hill Triplex for damages. Here's the kicker.......
They are countering with a suit claiming that I supposedly did not pay for repair services of over $900 dollars. I HAVE the receipt which shows all of the work that was done listed as WARRANTY WORK with an invoice total of $0.00 dollars owed! This is in addition to the fact that the receipt also acknowledges that fact that my problem was never fixed!

Even if the work wasn't under warranty, why would I pay if it didn't fix the problem!

Besides... what dealer would let you leave wit the vehicle without paying a balance due?

They probably got paid for all of warranty work anyway from Chrysler and are trying to get more. Unless of course Chrysler denied the work because what they fixed wasn't bad in the first place because it didn't solve the problem!

Wish me luck and tell everyone NOT to buy any type of vehicle from Cherry Hill Triplex

More
Took 99 Subaru Impreza for repairs and took over one month and 3 tries to fix the car. After waiting for a part to arrive from Japan, the car was finished, except we noticed that gas was splashing all month and 3 tries to fix the car. After waiting for a part to arrive from Japan, the car was finished, except we noticed that gas was splashing all over the engine compartment and driveway as returned home. They forgot the seals that keep the fuel contained in the fuel injector. The service here is pathetic - Subaru's National Headquarters is only a couple of miles down the street - they were embarrassed by these idiots and were very helpful in resolving the matter. We took the car to Miller Subaru in Mt. Holly where we bought our Legacy Outback and they fixed the car immediately. Miller Subaru is so far superior to Cherry Hill that only a fool would buy from Cherry Hill - I'd rather pay MSRP or more than deal with the incompetent idiots at Cherry Hill! More
