This was the worst place EVER. They were so rude and derogatory toward us women. Also they sold me a used car by using the highest pressure to take it home without my mechanic looking at it. Turns out derogatory toward us women. Also they sold me a used car by using the highest pressure to take it home without my mechanic looking at it. Turns out that the engine was bad (as my mechanic called the death rattle) Funny thing was I asked what the noise was the evening I was there. The sales rep said he did not hear anything. I promptly called as soon as my mechanic said return it ASAP. They did not return my call, were rude when anyone else answered. I finally had to ask them to pick the vehicle up as it was not safe to drive. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and will never go back. I have been spreading the word amongst co-workers and unsuspecting friends as they do not even care if they are terrible. One tip: Dont sell cars that are on their deathbed when you are telling me they were "Certified" Plus you may want to work on your salesmen and their manners. More
The day after I purchased my vehicle (which was not a pleasant experience but it's a local dealership and we really didn't research other dealers), my wife decided to buy a Sportage. The salesman agreed pleasant experience but it's a local dealership and we really didn't research other dealers), my wife decided to buy a Sportage. The salesman agreed to meet her there before work the next morning and never showed up, then called to complain that it was too early and he has a long commute (then he shouldn't have agreed to the time). After I filled out my customer service rating for the corporate office (8 out of 10) the sales manager actually called and yelled at me, told me that I screwed my salesperson! Both the sales manager and the sales person James, called me names ("a credit criminal" due to my lower credit rating! Nice huh! He actually texted it to me so I plan to print it out and send that to corporate KIA!) Extremely unprofessional and nasty group of people. My wife is now buying a Kia Sportage from Turnersville Kia... what a difference! So professional and courteous. Better prices, better service, wish I went there first! Big mistake! More
Cherry Hill Kia located in Cherry Hill NJ on Route 70 is by far the worst car dealership that I have ever attempted to work with for the purchase of a new car. My wife and I had shopped around and decided by far the worst car dealership that I have ever attempted to work with for the purchase of a new car. My wife and I had shopped around and decided to purchase a Kia EX. Knowing exactly what we wanted to buy - - we stopped into Cherry Hill Kia to see what they had on their lot. They had two vehicles exactly as we wanted with the exception of the factory installed step plate on the sides of the vehicle. Speaking with the Sales Manager informing him that we did not want the step plate, he insisted that it was “against the law to take off the step plate” and that “we would have to buy it as is”. We left the dealership and went home. The next day, I called the Sales Manager and reminded him as to whom I was. He remembered and also remembered the exact vehicles that my wife and I were looking at. I made him an offer. He placed me on hold and when he came back onto the phone, he informed me that he spoke to the General Manager and my offer is accepted. He asked when I can come in and buy the car. I informed him that I will be there in two hours - - 1:00pm. As promise, my wife and I arrived at 1:00pm. Looking in the lot again, we noticed another Kia EX that was a different color and without the side step and also cost less money. We went inside to the showroom and sat down with the Sales Manager while he pulled up my information in the computer, wrote down the price we had agreed to for the more expensive EX. He informed me that the price I will have to pay was MSRP price. Attempting to reason with him and negotiate a price again, he insisted that the MSRP price is the price he must sell that car - - not a penny less. After attempting to reason with him, I informed him that I would like to buy the less expensive EX and as an honorable man, I will hold my offer the same. He laughed right in my face and said that I was crazy - - that he would also have to sell me that car at MSRP pricing. At this point I was beginning to get annoyed with the sales practice of this dealership. I looked at the Sales Manager and reminded him that we had a deal. He acknowledged that he agreed to the price over the phone but he had to sell me the car at MSRP pricing. With that, I asked what kind of a dealership this was as well as what kind of a man he is. I explained how we agreed to a price, he had it in his computer and I was willing to hold to the price even though I was purchasing a vehicle that was less expensive. As he was laughing and arguing with/at me, I told him that I will take my business elsewhere. He continued to argue the point saying that since I was there - - I should buy a car right now. After a while, my wife and I simply walked out totally disgusted. Here is the best part. The very next day I received a phone call from the Sales Manager. When I got on the phone, in a laughing, condescending voice he asked if I purchase my Kia. I said no. laughing he continued to tell me how stupid I was for not buying the Kia EX from him yesterday. With that, I just hung up. NOTE: I would definitely NOT purchase a vehicle from Cherry Hill Kia. The sales tactics there are despicable. The staff is rude, insulting, provoking, attacking and extremely aggressive. They lie right to your face and laugh at you. As I said in the beginning of the review - - they are without a doubt the worst dealership I have EVER had the experience to attempt to buy a car from. I cannot stress enough - - - KEEP AWAY FROM CHERRY HILL KIA. More
CH tri plex is absolutely the worst dealership I have ever experienced. I could almost say they were comical if they were not so unprofessional and beyond rude. Stone age hard core sales techniques. Exa ever experienced. I could almost say they were comical if they were not so unprofessional and beyond rude. Stone age hard core sales techniques. Example Their frist offer on a new KIA was 4500 over MSRP while they offered me 4500 below Edmund Trade in value for my car. My car was in excellent condition with very low mileage. After listening to the most ridiculous reasons why I should pay above MSRP and well below Edmund trade in value from the salesmen I decided I was done. I did not bother to even counter their first offer. But they would not let me leave. I am not kidding here. The sales manager would not return my car keys given to him to evaluate the car. Instead I had to sit through what would easily match a 1950's suspicion for murder cop interrogation process. The sales manger decided to sit down acting like a school yard bully and argue that my car was not worth anything close to what I thought it was. He came up with a list of auction prices that could have been typed up for all I knew. There was no credibility to any information source this ridiculous manager had. But keep mind I had already assessed this group of thugs were not people I wanted to deal with. I wondered how they ever sold any cars ? Seriously they wave a huge red flag the second they start talking ! This is seriously bad news for KIA, . KIA has a great car. I bought one from Burlington. They were sane. That was good enough for me! KIA should close down on this dealership immediately. In fact I think the attorney general should investigate! More
Worst dealer ever, bait and switch. Negotiated over the phone, which I’ve successfully done with dealers in the past. A reputable dealer will do this and honer the deal when you get there. These guys “made phone, which I’ve successfully done with dealers in the past. A reputable dealer will do this and honer the deal when you get there. These guys “made an appointment” for me and had me wait around an hour. Then they finally brought out the car, but wait, it’s a 2010, NOT the 2011 we discussed. Admittedly, the car wasn’t worth what we agreed to and they tried to push it on me as the last one around and the deal of the century. Laughable! They agreed to honor the deal, but needed to locate the car on another lot (what lot?). Said they’d call the next day and didn’t. The following day I called the GM and was promised a call back in 5 minutes. Next day, after not hearing from them I went to another dealer and purchased the car. Oh wait, no I didn’t…I had to go back to Cherry Hill to get my license! While I was waiting for an hour the first visit, they took it to “start the paperwork”. Stupid me thought this was legit as we had an agreement and they were bringing the car around for me to inspect. Don’t waste your time with these bozo’s. More
After spending four hours at the dealership, when signing the paperwork for the finance of car they had switched my terms from 60 months to 75 months. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and mak the paperwork for the finance of car they had switched my terms from 60 months to 75 months. I was not going send this after all these months , but then again why not? The car was not perfect a dent in the door and the front left tire was bad. I also was told CarFax was availed but never shown until all paperwork for payment was finished. It show that the car was in accident non towed but recorded. I disused a few thing with my salesman Tom Collins I asked if I could get the cars price reduced since it was not perfect and I traveled 2 and a half hours to see it. Alex Jones the Sale manger would not discount the car all. That night at I finished some paper work and gave a deposit and drove the car home. The following week I drove down again for fill out the rest of the paperwork. I was told buy finance officer that the cars motor and drive train was out of warranty. I had told him he was wrong and he insisted that he was right. So he sold me a warranty for drive train and motor. After finding out it was still covered by Suzuki I call him back After several attempt to get a hold of him, finally call back. . I said to him that I want refunded asked if he could send a massager to me with the proper paper work. The Finance manager called me back and told me he was wrong and asked me if I would accept a 24k mile 24 month warranty on the car in exchange for the mess up. This was a saving to me of 1100 dollar. I told him I would. After buying the car I drove car home and washed and waxed it. I’m sure it had never seen wax. I also detail it and found food and a used hair brush and comb under the rear fold down seats. Then took the car to Sears for new tires. Sear’s told me that they could not get left front tire off and did not want to damage it. So I took the car to Suzuki with four new tires. York Auto Group found that I had been driving the 2008 SX4 with broken lug nuts on the front left wheel. I drove an unsafe car with my family in for 2000 miles before it was discovered. The Triplex said they inspect every car. So someone didn’t inspect any thing or broke the cars lugs. York Suzuki dealer fixed the car at 600 dollar at my cost. I called the Triplex and the only person that would return my calls was the salesman Tom Collins I tired to get a hold of Bill Kopp, I left him several messages he never returned the call. The only way I got to talk to him was by tell the receptionist that I would call back a hundred times and come down there if I had to. She final stayed on the line and got a hold of him. I told Mr Kopp how unhappy I was and what York Auto group found and what I paid and asked him for reimbursement. After that the service manager called me back. He asked me if I could drive the car back so they could fix it. I said are you crazy. And told him I am had the car fixed here not driving any place. After several back a fourth phone calls the service manage told me that I would get a check for 50 percent. Reluctantly accepted the check. Now it several days later and lots of phone calls to the dealer again to find out where the paper work and tags were and I could not get a call back from anyone again. Final, I found out who handle’s the in state tag and taxes. I got a hold of her right away and asked here to give this Rachel the out of state tag and taxes person a message. I left several messages and she never called back. By now the temporary registration is going to run out in 5 days. I final got a hold of Mr Charlie Kerns and he went to confront her. I was told that tags and the check should arrive in a day or two. So I waited and still nothing. And now the time to get the car inspected is even less. So I talk to the service manger at York Auto Group and he check with the state of Pa and nothing was there. So back on the telephone again with anyone that I could get to listen at the Triplex. Mr Kerns gave me a number of the Notary and I call him. Now it’s Thursday and the temporary registration runs out on Sunday. The Notary told me that he had been leaving messages and even faxed Rachel and that she failed to send over proper paper work for proof of insurance. He told me that he could have it for me on Monday since I faxed him what he need. I said I can’t wait till Monday and he asked me if I wanted to come get it. So I had to take a unpaid day off from work to drive the car back down to Philadelphia notary because Rachel the out of state tags person at the Cherry hill triplex did not send proof of insurance to the notary I drove down on Feb 25. The car was bought on Jan 31 and the Notary did not get anything until Feb 17. On the way down the car’s ABS,EPS and all wheel drive lights started to flash. I called the Service department I was told to bring the car right in. I was told that the right wheel bearing and sensor was bad. I was told by the service department that they did not have the sensor. Mr Alex Jones asked me if I could bring the car back down on Tuesday. I said that that’s not going to going to happen. I asked to leave it and have a loaner. He told me that he can’t do that. So I was provided with a rental car after complaining. I was told that I would get the car back on the next day. I asked Alex if he could see that the spare key that I had to buy for 180 dollars programmed for free for all my trouble. He told me not. I was provided with a rental and was told that they would get the part on Saturday .I called Tom the service guy I was ask if Alex called me and if I was told that the part is not covered warranty. Alex never called. So back on the telephone again with Alex The warranty covered everything but the sensor. I was charge full price for the sensor Or. I told tom that I could of bough the sensor from York Auto Group over the counter for $110.00 I was told that Cherryhilll Suzuki was selling it to me at cost. I doubt it since that was the price across the counter form York Auto Group. I asked Tom the service guy “Could I get the spare key programmed.” He said he would gladly do it for free for my trouble if he knew about it ahead of time. While I was down the I asked for Bill Kobb and he never got back to me. I was told from an employee I will not mention that he left the building after I called. I drove the car home and now its at York Auto Group for inspection were I was told that the rear brakes would pass this time but not the next. I have never been so dissatisfied with a dealership in 30 years of buying cars. The lies and the overall dishonesty, I feel bad for the very good service department cleaning up other mess. Alex Joes never so much as acknowledge me the day I came back for my car. And now I found out that the only person that cared about making me happy was fired.
