During this discussion with salesman Dominick(??) and sales manager who name escape me. (smokes, white hair) It was stated by them to come back Monday for a second key and Wednesday for paint touch-up. Monday comes and I take the car in for service because the driver window would not stop. I arrive about 9:30 and Dominick informs me that the person to whom was suppose to do the key wasn't available. To avoid the long drive that he stated he would either delivery it, or send it thru the mail but he would call me. As of today I am still awaiting the call. Next week she complaints about a noise from the engine and makes an appointment for Saturday. She is informed by Dominick, the person who does the key is on vacation. She has made numerous calls and it just seems like we are getting the run around, transferred from one person to another without any results. This has left a bitter feeling towards your dealership, KIA as a whole I am completely and utterly disappointed and dissatisfied.. More

Tricks at Every Angle I went in to this dealership because I saw a 2007 Ford Escape listed for $8,000 (internet price). First trick: on the website it says the KBB value is I went in to this dealership because I saw a 2007 Ford Escape listed for $8,000 (internet price). First trick: on the website it says the KBB value is $10,000, but when I looked at the KBB (median) value it was $6,300. Other dealerships in the area seemed to be at about $8,000, so I figured I'd see what we could work with. I called ahead and they told me the car was on the lot, and I could come drive. I arrived, and the customer service was friendly, but they were unable to locate the car... So, they said, let's drive another one (this one for $16,000). Turns out the Escape was getting an oil change, and once completed, we were able to drive it. I wasn't sure it was "the one I wanted yet" and I wanted to take it home to check with my wife, too. At this point, they started locking me in: "Why don't you take the car home and bring your wife back?" She had other obligations, so that would not work. "Why don't you buy the car now, and if your wife doesn't approve, we can nullify the contract?" I don't feel comfortable with that; here's where they were lost, it was like my comfort was of NO importance to them. So, they said let's start looking at what we can do about price. The first offer brought out to me was $10,295, and then they would give me $300 for my current car traded in. I stared blankly at the offer for a minute, asked how the price went from $8,000 to $10,000, and they could not explain it. I said I would not have stepped foot in this dealership if the STARTING price was anything above $8,000. They immediately knocked it down to $8,000. This is when I knew the scheme was on. I told the salesman I would not pay that much, and he kept on knocking it down, but I wanted to get back to the matter at hand: I would not be buying this car without my wife's approval. "OK, you can take it home for an extended test drive, bring it back tomorrow and we can seal the deal if your wife approves." Sounded alright to me. Then they spent another 1.5 hours doing something in the room labeled "employees only" and finally came back to tell me I could move my baby seat over to the Escape. At this point, I was in a time crunch, and explained I needed to leave. They said I'd be out in 15 minutes, and the salesman drove the Escape over to my current car and PARKED ME IN. They went back to their glass-enclosed station headquarters, and 35 minutes later came out telling me that the deal was just printing out. Again, I was taking an EXTENDED TEST DRIVE, I was not signing anything saying I would buy this car. FINALLY, I told them I needed to leave and they handed me the Escape key and temporary plate and registration, etc. I drove it, my wife and I decided we didn't like it, brought it back the next morning and MY CAR WAS ON THE LOT FOR SALE. Luckily I had a spare key, was able to move the baby seat back in, dropped the Escape keys off and explained I needed to leave and I would not be coming back to this dealership again. After 25 minutes, they finally retrieved my other key that they were holding hostage, but not without trying to sell me more $17,000 cars. Absolutely horrible experience, I wish I had checked dealer rater first to see that others had some similar ones. More
Lied to customer Bait and switch. Quoted me a price on the phone. I drove an hour to get there and the monthly payments were $50 more a month than what I was told. Bait and switch. Uncomfortable experience, good prices, mixed feelings It's hard to rate this dealership. The sales manager we saw first was great, Bernard. He was low pressure and friendly. He introduced us to Alexis and It's hard to rate this dealership. The sales manager we saw first was great, Bernard. He was low pressure and friendly. He introduced us to Alexis and that is where the process got rough. My husband and I came in for an "internet price" on a specific color Kia Sedona to replace my similar minivan. They have several lots and that minivan was located on another lot, which was no problem in my book, we weren't in a time crunch for the appointment. Alexis said she would drive us over to check it out. We got into a vehicle with her for the ride over. As soon as she turned the key the radio was BLASTING. She turned it down a bit but left it on, I made a comment that it was still a little loud for me in the back but she left it on. It was a satellite station blaring rap music with really offensive language. I'm in my early 30's, but we were minivan shopping and not someone you would assuming likes listening to the F word every 5 seconds. It just kept getting worse at that point, she was flying down the road with one window open creating a very loud white noise on top of the increasingly uncomfortable music, making no effort to let us talk about the Kia we were in, or what we were looking for. This is a brand new car, surely the a/c would have been a better choice than the wide open window at 50mph. I wasn't able to get in 10 words in the 10 minute ride to the other lot. By the end of it I just wanted to get back in our car and go home. We got to the lot and she pulled out the minivan and handed my husband the keys and said we could test drive it back to the original location. That was fine by us, it's nice when you test drive solo and can talk things over privately. She would lead in the car we came in with. The Sedona was lovely, and pretty much what we wanted, as advertised. It rode great! However it was impossible to enjoy because we noticed she left us without putting on temp dealer plates and was again speeding back to the original lot, even blew through a stop sign. So our "test drive" was basically all focused on keeping up with her and not getting lost with no plate on the car we didn't own. When we got back I was steaming and the last thing I could focus on was buying a car. You try to focus on the important stuff, the price and the features but it was all lost in how frustrated I was and my headache from the radio and window. We decided we had enough for the day and handed back the keys. Before we left we talked to Bernard again, who was nice as before and very knowledgeable. Maybe if we had just asked to deal with him it would have been a different day, or maybe we just had bad luck because it was a holiday and who wants to be at work on a holiday? I'm not sure if we will go back and try again. The internet team was A++, even offering to text me to arrange a time because I couldn't talk at the moment. Bernard also gets an A++. Car selection was great and I felt like pricing was going to be fair. I'm sure lots of their staff is great, we just had a really uncomfortable experience and not sure we want to try again. More

My sales consultant, Bill Kurtz, was very friendly and helpful. I found him to be very honest and informative. My experience in dealing with Bill to get the car I really wanted was outstanding. When I helpful. I found him to be very honest and informative. My experience in dealing with Bill to get the car I really wanted was outstanding. When I went back to the dealership about a week and a half later to pick up my tags and registration, I happened to run into Bill in the parking lot. I was very impressed that he remembered my name and who I was. When I told him that I was there to pick up my tags and registration, he immediately took me to the cashier's desk, and told me he would put my tags on for me. He is such a nice guy and very attentive. I will bring my car back there all of the time for service. Your dealership is awesome! Sincerely, Mary Janus More
