I have had such a bad experience with Courtesy Kia in Attleboro and Kia America that I will never buy another Kia, and want to get rid of the one I have ASAP. I was having trouble with my battery and had Attleboro and Kia America that I will never buy another Kia, and want to get rid of the one I have ASAP. I was having trouble with my battery and had it charged by AAA but it died again, so I drove it a lot but it died again, and also tried having a service station professionally charge it but it still died. So I made an appointment for a new battery at Courtesy Kia. I had to wait a week and a half to get an appointment when I was not working, and then call AAA to jump start the car to try to get to the appointment on time. I was early so I drove around a bit before my appointment time. When I got there I explained all of this to the counter person. And I did not ask them to check my battery, I asked to have it replaced. In the end they told me it did not need to be replaced. My bad for believing them. Then when it died again, I had to go through the whole process again to get the car there for another appointment, and this time get the battery replaced. The problem I see with Courtesy Kia is that they follow a set process for each issue, but do not listen when the customer explains their experience with the car. So, with my battery issue for instance, they checked the battery and it had enough of a charge that their process said it did not need replacement, but they completely ignored what I had told them about the history of the problem and the fact that I had driven it for a while before the appointment. I have experienced this type of problem before with them on smaller issues. They also had no sympathy for the fact that I had to go through the appointment process twice to get the car fixed. So when I received an email with a survey about my appointment I complained. I am not even going to try to explain what happened after that except that many emails later I gave up, because I kept receiving responses from Kia America that showed that they didn’t read my emails – the ones they had asked me to send! This whole process has taken over three months. What a waste of time and effort! On 3/24/21 I got a call from the service manager (while I was in a meeting of course!). So I returned the call and got disconnected. Returned the call again and found out he had called me because he was told I was making a formal complaint. I don't know where he got that information because it's not true. I have already wasted enough time on this issue! Once he realized I hadn't threatened to make a complaint he told me to call him the next time I brought the car in so he could make sure I had a better experience. So I guess you need to know the service manager to get your car fixed right the first time. But there will not be a next time for me. I will not spend my time and money at any business that is run this poorly. More
