Took my 2013 Kia Optima in for an oil change back in May 2024 I wasn't having any kinds of problems just needed an oil change. They first come trying to sell me things that I knew had already been done. The 2024 I wasn't having any kinds of problems just needed an oil change. They first come trying to sell me things that I knew had already been done. Then try selling me another vehicle. After all of that they decided to change my oil. I started noticing my oil light fading in and out a long time before time to be change. I checked the oil and there wasn't any in it. The oil stick was dry. I put oil in until it registered full. It happened again oil light fading in and out no oil. I called Kia and the guy told me that my motor was under warranty. We took it in and told them that we didn't want anything done to it other then to look at it and tell us what needed to be done. They changed the oil and charged us after telling them no. They said that they needed to do that and do a test after driving 1000 miles. Took it back in this morning and they told us that it wasn't under warranty for oil consumption. They knew that was the problem before taking in the first time. They didn't even check it this morning. I will never deal with Kia again and I will be reporting it. I pulled it up on Google and there have been alot of Kia vehicles to do the same as mine. More

Drove 2 hours after triple checked website AND called dealer to make sure it would be there. No problem it's right here. Decided we would check 20 mins away from dealer. Yep you guessed it gone or bette dealer to make sure it would be there. No problem it's right here. Decided we would check 20 mins away from dealer. Yep you guessed it gone or better yet never there, but hey a more expensive same car with more mileage was offered on phone. 113 miles in gas super cheap nowadays) plus maintenance and my days lost pay so i could drive my roomate to get said newer car. The car we have which we drove nearly 4 hrs sputtered clanking you get it. The reason we are getting a newer car. I will never even entertain the thought of going there and spending my time or money. After contacting the dealer about a vehicle I saw online, I was assured twice that the vehicle was still available and I should come in to test drive it. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was told the vehicle was sold earlier in the week but I should drive the next model up. I can’t express how unprofessional this was and left the dealership very frustrated and angry. While driving home I received a call from the salesman who indicated he wanted to try to make it right. He said he would search inventory and would bring a vehicle to me to drive. He also promised to have the Sales Manager contact me per my request. Neither of those two things has happened in 3 days as I have not heard a word. Very disappointing and unprofessional. It leaves me thinking that car dealers just cannot be trusted as you often hear complaints. Be wary of Kia of Anderson! More
