It makes me so sad to read these reviews! I had a great experience with Lupita at Kia of Alhambra. She really worked hard to earn my business. She was fantastic! I told her over the phone what I was looking for and she made it happen. It was quick and easy. The only negative thing I could say is that I left without my security system installed. The finance manager that was great as well, let me know this while I was switching my stuff from my old to new. It was disheartening but let me know they would come to my home or office to install. Now after reading these reviews, I am hoping they will call me this week to schedule. More

I purchased a 2021 KIA SORENTO at KIA of Alhambra located at 1247 Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801, (626-289-0000). The vehicle was brand new with 14 miles. However, there was damage/ chipping in the paint o at 1247 Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801, (626-289-0000). The vehicle was brand new with 14 miles. However, there was damage/ chipping in the paint on the front passenger side lower bumper area approximately 6 inches which included clearcoat and paint damage through the plastic. The sales associate (Johan Ramirez) stated it was his obligation to get the damage repaired by the Wondrie's Collision Center located at 328 S Marengo Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91803 (626) 414-1900, which is a partnership facility between all Wondrie's Dealerships in the immediate area from what I was told. My wife and I stated if this damage was repaired to the highest quality (brand new condition) we would buy the car. Johan agreed and we signed a legal contract for purchase of the vehicle. We drove the car home that night and were told by Johan to bring it back the following day (06/28/21) for repair of the front bumper paint. I asked Johan Ramirez which location the car would be repaired at. He stated it will be going to Wondrie's Collision Center at the location noted above, nowhere else. Upon bringing the car home, I looked under the hood for the first time to see the airbox plastic lid was broken off. I brought this concern up to the manager Gil and Sales Representative Johan, neither of them had a solution for the problem. This morning of 6/29/2021, I tracked the vehicle and it was approximately 5 miles away from the purchasing dealership. My vehicle was at 8811 Greenwood Avenue, San Gabriel CA 91775. Upon searching this address on google maps, it should be noted that this is a residential address. I immediately called KIA Alhambra and requested to speak with the sales associate Johan. I contacted Johan and asked him where my car was. He stated that the service department took the vehicle this morning to start repairs. I told Johan that I am tracking my vehicle at this very moment and it is nowhere near the Wondrie’s Collision Center and in fact was at someone’s house at 8811 Greenwood Ave. Johan stated he did not know what was going on and would look into it. I requested to speak with the general manager on duty but Johan could not provide me with that request. I called the dealership back again and requested to speak with a general manager. After several attempts of calling back the secretary stated that the general manager is not available. I was able to reach the service manager, “Tony”. I explained the above situation to Tony and he stated that my vehicle was not taken to the authorized Collision Center due to the fact that he wanted to save the dealership money by going to a third party person that spray paints vehicles on residential property, which I was never informed of and would have never agreed to. Tony was very defensive and did not understand the severity of this issue. This is a brand new car and he authorized a third party to repair my vehicle out of his own garage at his residence, without my consent. I stated that is absolutely unacceptable and my car is to be returned back to the original facility as stated in our agreement when we purchased the vehicle. Upon requesting the contact information of this third party individual spray painting cars out of his house, Tony could not provide me with any information due to the fact that he simply stated he did not know. Based on his statement, this led me to believe that one of the dealership service employees simply took my brand new KIA Sorento on a joy ride to their residence on their lunch break. I escalated this issue to the General Manager of Kia of Alhambra, Gil, who was very hard to get in touch with, and when I was able to speak with him, he had nothing but excuses for why my car was taken to an unauthorized place to have repairs including “it can save the dealership money” and “I thought you wanted your car back faster.“ Completely unacceptable in my opinion. He could honestly care less what I had to say. On top of this terrible experience with sending our brand new car to someone's house to be repaired, KIA Alhambra provided us with a KIA Niro as a “comparable” loaner car that looked as if it had never been washed. I had to use the windshield wipers and sprayers to safely drive home where I paid with my own money for a car wash so my wife could use the car to drive to work without having a visual hazard. I do not understand how members Tony, Johann and General Manager Gil of KIA of Alhambra prided themselves on “customer service” when each step of this vehicle purchase was unnecessarily rough and unprofessional. If there was no cool off period in the state of California, I would walk away from this car and awful dealership and take my business elsewhere. This dealership is completely careless and they don’t care about anything other than making the “sale”. This dealership deserves negative stars and I would never ever recommend anyone go there for a vehicle purchase. More
Horrible service!!! Its so sad they keep my new car that ac compressor went out to fix and they had it over 1 week and do not answer my calls to see when will it be ready. Against my better judgment I took my car back in to be serviced at Kia of Alhambra. A few recalls and a few things that have to be covered under warranty. Kia is currently waiting to hear back from warranty company which I understand. My issue is NOT following up with customers when you have their vehicle. It’s going on day 3 and no loaner/rental offered and no call made giving me an update or anything. When you call you can never get service advisor only voicemail. I do like the service advisor I work with just don’t like the not following up and keeping me in the loop. I guess I’m be going back to the other dealership that’s a little further way to get better service. More

This is the worse most slow dealership to get your service done. They don't respect your appointment time whatsoever. Brought in my kia for an oil change 11:15 am appointment and 1:45 pm I complained service done. They don't respect your appointment time whatsoever. One week since my last review...our 2015 Soul was towed there Feb 08. They didn’t actually start repairing it until late last week March 12th - after we showed up in person - for the 5th time. My wife's 2015 Soul was towed to the dealer 4 weeks ago for repairs. Still not fixed. No one can give us a straight answer regarding a completion estimate date. This is the second time I’ve visited their service center. They advertise a $24.95 lube, oil, and filter change on their website. The first time I visited, I was charged $42 for a package that include center. They advertise a $24.95 lube, oil, and filter change on their website. The first time I visited, I was charged $42 for a package that included a tire rotation. Today, I visited again, and I was charged $38.76 but that was without a tire rotation. I asked the employee charging me if they were honoring the $24.95 price and she assured me they were. She said that the price doesn’t include labor or taxes. That’s insane. When I look at the coupon, it says taxes not included in price but nothing about labor. The coupon says the price includes includes an engine oil change (not just the cost of oil). I didn’t want to make a scene so I just paid. I called to speak with the service manager, but the person that answered said the manager was on lunch. I asked for a call back and never got one. I will update this review if they ever call me back. More
