The Telluride is a consumer reports "BEST BUY" 4 years running and has the best warranty in the business. When Kia dropped the new Telluride X-Line we knew it was time. After an exhausting search to actually find a SX-P X-Line to test drive we landed at Rainbow City KIA with our salesperson Chelsea Gattis. Let me preface this by saying buying a car from KIA is different. NO hassles. Just straight forward pricing and amazing customer service. Buying a new car from Chelsea was like buying a car from your cousin or a great friend. She is beyond personable and held our hand the whole way through. She single handedly made our new car buying experience easy! Even when a little hiccup in the transaction occurred she handled it like a professional. She wasted no time addressing the issue and got everything straightened out for us. WE SIMPLY COULD NOT BE HAPPIER about how we were treated (like family) and the whole experience. I entered the facility an hour before my appointment to look at the available stock on their lot. I was greeted by Chelsea, a very professional and charming sales manager who invited me in to discuss my tr look at the available stock on their lot. After discussing what would fit my needs and budget she went and spoke with another company representative. She returned a couple of minutes later with a great offer for a used car and we shook hands and got the sale accomplished within an hour. Chelsea's commitment to excellence and strong desire to put a smile on this customer's face are unique and strong personal attributes and are exactly what sealed the deal for me. I was co-signing for someone but my name ended up first on the loan papers and the car is in my name! I would rather have had you turn us down because I later found our her credit union would have given h on the loan papers and the car is in my name! I called ahead of time to inquire about a vehicle i found online with 0 down. I drove from Georgia to Alabama to get this vehicle. I had already talked to paul and he knew what i wanted and where I would be online with 0 down. I drove from Georgia to Alabama to get this vehicle. I had already talked to paul and he knew what i wanted and where I would be traveling from. Once I arrived, i test drove and fell in love with the car. The car ended up being falsely advertised because it not only was not the price listed but it was not 0 down. This was the whole reason for traveling to another state because i needed 0 down and paul knew this. Paul got scott to assist and scott tried to work some sort of deal. I ended up having to get an entirely different car and i went from having to pay nothing to 1000 flat. I informed them that given the reason i came i was not prepared nor did i have it. Scott said that he would be able to give me 200 towards the cost since it was a mix up with the listing etc. I told him i only had 7 to 8 and that it would completely wipe me out. He said that he would be able to get me 200 towards it since the other vehicles information was wrong but it would take a few days up to a week. I asked him i know 1000 times if he was sure because if not that would put me in a difficult and impossible situation. He assured me so i moved forward. Two weeks pass and still nothing, i called paul who seemed sincere when i purchased the vehicle and he said he would call me back. I called the following day since he did not callback, he said he would check with scott and the cfo etc and callback and did not. I called him the following day and he said it has to be funded first which was not what was said when they were trying to make the sale not knowing i knew it had been funded already so i informed him it had been already. I also explained to him that me not getting that check as expected has and will put me in a bind and i have absolutely nothing because i trusted them and their word about the money. I explained to him that i could not get back and forth the upcoming week nor get food because of this incident etc. Paul said he would check on when it was sent or will be sent. I explained to him that it is almost three weeks later and that i could not wait another week. I asked if they could have whoever to overnight it since it was their mistake. Paul never called back. I thought that him and scott were genuine and sincere and not lieing to my face about what was agreed upon but apparently i was wrong. There is no reason why i should have had to call in the first place to check on something we arranged when the purchase was made. There is absolutely no way i should have had to call three days in a row to not get a callback either day. It amazes me how overly excited and helpful paul was when i made the purchase but literally treated me as if i did not matter or my situation because he had already made the sale after the fact. He blatantly lied to me each call and did not call back nor did he desire to find a resolve for me. This is NOT good business or good business ethics. A customer should never be cheated out of their right to make a sound decision and i was not able to because i was deceived. Meanwhile, i will lose my job because i am not able to get there because i trusted scott and paul. If i had been told that it would take a month to get a check i would not be in this situation. I have NEVER just went on someones word but i thought these two guys were trustworthy so i decided too and now i am in a situation and paul apparently could care less. I was lied to just to make a sale and now my livelihood is at stake because of it. More
