Took my car for repair at the Kia dealership after my mechanic ran diagnostic which included evap and timing codes. In the month of October since Kia has had my car, after each repair (change the gas c mechanic ran diagnostic which included evap and timing codes. In the month of October since Kia has had my car, after each repair (change the gas cap, plough valve replacement, and replacement of evaporation canister) I was told to drive my car around to make sure the engine light did not come back on, it always did within driving less than one hour Forward a head to November (yes they still have my car) I am told diagnostic codes now include the need for engine repairs, including a timing chain, timing chain tensioner, intake oil control valve, and intake camshaft sensor. Ironically my warranty expired 10 days prior to Kia reporting this to me. Also, after talking to not only my mechanic but several others the Kia dealership 100% saw the timing codes along with the evap codes when the diagnostics were ran on my Kia. As previously stated above the diagnostic codes were what originally sent me to the dealership. I hate to pull the gender card, but as a female I feel I was taking advantage of . More

My wife took her Sportage in for service three weeks ago due to a warning light. It needs a replacement part that still hasn't come in. Numerous times they said it would be in on a specific date and it never arrives. She finally stopped in today at the dealership and she was told the arrival date for the replacement part would be another three weeks. She would still be without a car if she didn't pull it out of the shop after the first three days.. AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM KIA ON THE BLVD!!!! More

When searching for a pre-owned car, I had to shop around, coming up short-handed with meeting my financial needs. I have been looking around, and a co-worker suggested for me to try Kia on the blvd. I called to set up a visit, spoke to Andy Agalliu, told him my situation over the phone and I said I will be today. He had the patience of a saint, no sales gimmicks, he worked with me with payments, even went with me to my bank to close a deal, I can't begin to full express how much this guy deserves a Grammy, He made me feel like family, going beyond the call of duty, every fine detail, every stitch to meet my needs. I can't remember the last time I walked into a dealership, sat down with a sales person, and came home happy. I got the best deal for my finances, Andy took care of everything for me, every last detail, I can't stress enough how much this means to me as a buyer of a car with my unfortunate situation. Every one is pleasant there, everyone I came into contact with today, I personally said Andy will get five stars rating, Anyone looking for a car, I highly recommend drop by and see Andy Agalliu, he treats you like family, not just okay I want to sell you a car and I got points. I took my 2013 optima into Kia on the blvd, DeSimone Kia on 09/14/2022. I requested diagnostics for an unfamiliar intermittent noise and brakes along with routine maintenance and inspection. After hours on 09/14/2022. I requested diagnostics for an unfamiliar intermittent noise and brakes along with routine maintenance and inspection. After hours of waiting, I was advised that the noise was coming from the idler pully and belt tensioner and needed to be replaced, along with 2 gaskets to repair an oil leak and light bulbs. I said ok to repairs and 6 hours later paid $855.83. The very next morning, I took the car back to the service department and advised them that the same noise was present. I also sent an email which is attached as well as a video of the noise. I requested to have more than one person inspect the noise, but they said that they did not hear it but suggested that it might be the alternator if it was the same noise that they did hear the day before. They asked me to bring the car back when it was making the noise for them to take a look at. I took the car back on 09/21/22, they confirmed that they heard the noise. They stated that the alternator would be more expensive than my total from 09/14/22 and offered to waive the diagnostic fee. (Which I had already paid for on 09/14/22). I explained that this should have been diagnosed properly and repaired on 09/14/22. They refused to take any responsibility for the misdiagnoses or the inconvenience of coming back 3 times. On November 28th while I was on my way to the homeless services building when my 2013 optima broke down just before I got onto i95. It was a terrible metal clicking and clanking noise. I was able to drive a few blocks back to my brother's house. While trying to determine what the problem was I came across identical issues on YouTube. Thinking that this may be an engine warranty issue and I would be reimbursed, I rented a car for 1 week. I got the car towed to Sussman Kia, now Matt Blatt Kia of Abington, as I will never go back to Desimone Kia. The car was dropped off overnight and Tom in the service department called me on the morning of November 29th. He asked what was wrong with the car and I explained the situation and the noise. Tom called me back about an hour later and stated that the problem was the engine and his engine tech is backed up until January. I called a few other dealerships who were also overwhelmed with engine and theft repairs. I asked the dealership if they would be able to provide a loaner vehicle but they stated that they no longer had loaner vehicles available. I called Kia, I waited on hold for hours, I spoke to several people, I was hung up on, I was rushed off the phone and treated as if I was a bother. No one was able to offer any solutions or assistance. I am a single mother. I have a 2-year-old who I drop off at daycare and a 6-year-old in kindergarten. Being a single mother during the holidays, I had to make it to work and had to sacrifice my children's Christmas. I was left with no other option but to rent another car under the impression that there was an engine problem. Tom in the service department also pulled my service records from carfax and said that it was likely a warranty issue since the car had regular service. My car was at Sussman Kia from November 29th, 2022 to December 29th, 2022. The entire time I was unable to reach anyone from the dealership by phone and had to go in to actually speak to anyone. I did go in and begged Tom just to get the diagnosis so that the warranty would cover the rental cars I was obligated to use. Tom called me to let me know that he was able to get an engine tech to look at my car and that it was not the engine. He stated that the car passed the bearing clearance test and that my alternator and my starter had to be replaced. My car sat at the dealership for 30 days when it could have been repaired in 2 days. Not to mention that it should have been repaired at Desimone Kia when I went in September. Tom gave me a quote and still advised that he would not be able to repair it in a timely manner. I was also charged another diagnosis fee. I was again forced into another rental and had to pay for the car to be towed to Shums Auto Repair, which was able to repair the car in only a few days. When Shums Auto Repair went over the car, I was informed that the repairs that I was charged for at DeSimone Kia in September, were never made. Oil was still leaking from the same gasket that was said to be replaced, and tag lights were still out. I called Kia corporate again to see if there was anything that could be done. They were unhelpful and went as far as to say my car was never at Sussman Kia. This is insane, I have been robbed of my time, my money, and my children's Christmas yet no one will take any responsibility. More
I do not recommend! Then to top it off I spoke to a sales man and he said I was never charged for it so that’s how he knows I wasn’t offer it?! Isn’t it free lifetime!! So on top they tell you it’s “free lifetime”but you get secretly charged for it! I went also to their auto body shop on 2nd st isn’t great at all took my car for repairs in 2022 and they took forever they called me to pick up my car and the car wasn’t ready it was the same way I left the car and then I get told that same day after a week waiting that they have no parts available for my car at all not even on back(never was called and told this) got offered money to just take my car as is ! By the owner ! Mind you I have referred two people to them which bought cars! And referred also to their body shop which I sadly regreat doing ! I won’t and will not bring anymore referrals please don’t !go here it Isn’t worth the hassle they are very shady ! And unprofessional! More
Was ripped off and hustled they didn't give me the car I paid for and was promised then when noticed had wrong car shortly after they charged me 6000 more for right car!! My son bought his first car. Thank god I was there to help with the salesman. The tried to switch cars on him and tried to give him a different car then he test drove. It needs to be cleaned. Every other dealership offers free oil changes on new cars. His salesman made him bring the car back the next day to inspect it. I don’t get it it was a brand new car it should have been done before he drove it off the lot. They are real shady. More

Taxes and fee would cost $5k additional????? That was absurd in my mind. I stopped dealing with Kia themselves at that point. I’m not paying an extra $5k just so you can have commission. From then on out I only dealt with the third party I make my monthly payments too. I ended up paying $12k for my car. At the end Alek MacPhee emailed me and said “I should have been an adult and learned to communicate”. Which was obviously very unprofessional. Shocking that Kia allowed him to do that through their works email. I will not be dealing with Kia ever again. Don’t let the salesmen bully you. Go through your third party. More
