2022 Kia Sorento - with just over 42,000 miles. Has had all regular maintenance done like clock work at each 5000 mile interval. Had a flat in the last couple of days and noticed that all 4 tires s Has had all regular maintenance done like clock work at each 5000 mile interval. Had a flat in the last couple of days and noticed that all 4 tires show excessive wear/feathering indicative of an alignment issue or worn suspension. Took in for the flat repair but most importantly to have all 4 tires excessive wear/feathering addressed. Was told that a "recommended" alignment had been suggested on some of the service intervals but was declined. My husband who spoke to Henry Bacon, the service manager there, confirmed it had been waived but also confirmed it had not been recommended due the alignment being out or the tires being worn as he, my husband with mechanics experience, spoke to the service tech and asked was there an issue or had the alignment been checked on the alignment equipment. So being that the service tech saw no wear and had not actually checked the aliment it was waived. There is also no recommend schedule of alignment in the owners manual but instead it based on tire wear alone. The wear on the tires probably to 10-15,000 miles to develop so that is 3-4 different routine service that the tire weren't scrutinized and/or and alignment recommendation made based off of tire wear/suspension problem. Kia refuses to help in the matter other than to write and estimate for 4 new tires and an alignment. Clearly they have dropped the ball and are failing to take responsibility. Zero attempt to address the problem or reconcile the issue. This is not good customer service. Corporate customer support was useless. A BBB claim was filed as well but that will be fruitless as Bayside Kia of Waldorf just ignores BBB claims as a company policy. More

The trade-in process was simple and painless. I cannot speak to competitiveness as they had the deal I was looking for, so I did not spend any time shopping around.
