DON'T TRUST KEYES EUROPEAN MERCEDES BENZ!!! We live in Atlanta, GA and are in the market for a very unique S-550 which we found (or at least THOUGHT WE FOUND) this past Sunday at Keyes through t We live in Atlanta, GA and are in the market for a very unique S-550 which we found (or at least THOUGHT WE FOUND) this past Sunday at Keyes through the MB Certified Pre-owned website. From the onset, we should have known NOT to do try and do business with this dealership. Shabaz, salesperson, promised to call us back in 5-min but, we rec'd. no call after several hours. When we finally decided to call him back he promised to send over wiring instructions for us to secure the vehicle. After several hours longer, still no email. We decided to call again and speak with a manager and was transferred to Bernard who made excuses for Shabaz (ie. biz office closed, Shabaz asked him to send info but, he's been busy). Bernard finally emails the instructions (without a Purchase Order?). Later he calls us back stating that they could not sell the car to us unless we came to California personally to sign the paperwork. He said Keyes has a strict policy regarding out-of-state sales. However, they sell cars to people all over the country and they are required to come in personally to sign the paperwork. We were told that most times Keyes would pick a customer up from the airport, bring them to the dealership to sign the paperwork then take them back to airport all in the same day. He stated that IF WE SHOWED PROOF OF PURCHASING AN AIRLINE TICKET INCL ARRIVAL DATE, THEY WOULD "HOLD" THE CAR. WE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES IF IT WAS NECESSARY TO PUT A DEPOSIT ON THE CAR TO ENSURE IT ISN'T SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE WE MADE IT TO CALIFORNIA...the answer was "NO". After a final conversation with the used car mgr, Mitch Rabin, on Monday, we proceeded to book the trip to California arriving on Thursday morning. We emailed proof of booking along with proof of funding to Mitch and HE ASSURED US THAT HE WOULD NOT HAVE US BOOK A TICKET ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND SELL THE CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE WE GOT THERE! He proceeded to refer us to their local, preferred rim shop to start the process of ordering rims. We thought the deal was sealed! On Tuesday afternoon, we sent Mitch a text asking if they had everything needed from us and his reply was, "ON MY END JUST PERFECT DID YOU DECIDE ON WHEELS OR ANYTHING ELSE YET?" Two hours later we rec'd. a call from Shabaz stating that the car had just been sold to another customer!!! WE WERE SORELY DISAPPOINTED as we asked to speak with the general manager to get clarification on how this happened. We were directed to Simon WHO WAS VERY RUDE AND ABRUPT! HE ASKED IF WE PUT A DEPOSIT ON THE CAR AND WHEN WE TOLD HIM THAT WE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES BUT, WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS UNNECESSARY HE PROCEEDED TO CONTRADICT HIMSELF AND THE OTHERS BY STATING THAT THEY DON'T HOLD CARS, THEY DON'T SELL CARS TO PEOPLE OUT OF STATE , AND THEY DON'T EXCEPT DEPOSITS (didn't he just ask if we put a deposit on the car...i'm confused???). HE WAS VERY INSENSITIVE, UNAPOLOGETIC, AND DISREGARDED ALL THE PROMISES THAT WERE MADE BY HIS STAFf. HE STATED THAT THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE MADE THOSE PROMISES BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY THEY WOULD HOLD A CAR FOR A CUSTOMER WHO WAS 2000 MILES AWAY WHEN THERE WAS ANOTHER CUSTOMER IN THE DEALERSHIP READY TO BUY IT!!! HE WENT ON TO SAY THAT THE CAR HAD BEEN SOLD AND THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO ABOUT IT!!! WOW! Are these the same guys who were so adamant about following strict policies and procedures on the sale of the vehicle??? DID THEY SUDDENLY LOSE THEIR INGREGRITY WHEN A NEW CUSTOMER WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR WAVING MONEY IN THEIR FACES??? Needless to say, we were appalled and could not believe the attitude and lack of appreciation Simon had for a customer who was willing to travel 2,000 miles across country and purchase a vehicle from his dealership. WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! WE OWN SEVERAL MERCEDES BUT, NEVER HAD THIS TYPE EXPERIENCE WITH A MERCEDES BENZ DEALER!!! I GUESS WE'RE BETTER OFF STICKING WITH OUR EAST COAST MB DEALERS BECAUSE KEYES IS APPARENTLY MORE INTERESTED IN NUMBERS RATHER THAN BUILDING GREAT CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS! WE'RE REPORTING THIS TO THE BBB, MERCEDES BENZ CORPORATE AND POSTING TO ALL REVIEW SITES SO OTHERS CAN WE AWARE TO TAKE THEIR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER DEALER WHO TRULY APPRECIATES THEM AND DOESN'T CONSIDER THEM JUST ANOTHER NUMBER!!! BUYER BEWARE! HORRIFIC SERVICE!!!!! I bought a 2015 Mercedes C300 from Keyes Mercedes / Keyes European. Back in may of 2015 as of today the car has only 5200 miles on it. I have an iPh I bought a 2015 Mercedes C300 from Keyes Mercedes / Keyes European. Back in may of 2015 as of today the car has only 5200 miles on it. I have an iPhone 6 plus and the car has been in the shop 5 times because they cannot get the Bluetooth to work properly and claim there are "compatibility issues". Keyes European, as of 9-10-15 still cannot fix it. -9-1-2015 - They replaced the sentire module on I picked up the car 9-3-15. -9-4-15 in the morning the same problem started happening again. I was furious and went back to Keyes and this service manager said there was nothing more they could do and they cannot fix the problem. I said to her that on MBUSA the iPhone 6 plus is listed as a compatible device with my 2015 c300. She ignored me, nor did she take own the problem. I then stormed out and went to pick up my girlfriend 5 minutes away. When I picked her up she said you better come out and see this. I went over and saw my outside rear view mirror damaged. I then went back to Keyes and the service manager said they damaged it probably and they would take car of it. 9-5-15 The car will not start!!! My car was dead/ no signs of life and I almost lost a sale because I almost didn't make my appointment that morning. The car was towed back to Keyes and I got another loaner. The service adviser could not believe what was going on. The car was put back into service once again to fix the Bluetooth problem. Now they have had the car again since 9-5-15. 9-10-15 Keyes European / Keyes Mercedes said the car was ready for pick up." Yet my service advisor said that the Bluetooth issue is still not working and he had no answers. I talked to the general manager of Keyes and told him I am not picking up the car until the Bluetooth is fixed. He threatened me if I did not return the loaner her would call the police and said the car was missing and stolen. The car was not fixed, which means the car is not ready to be picked up. BUYER BEWARE! Bottom line. Don't ever go to Keyes Mercedes to buy or service a car, They don't treat you very nice and do not take ownership of problems that they cannot fix. I have hired a lemon law attorney and will go after both MBUSA and Keyes European/Keyes European I have filed a complaint with Mercedes corporate. I have bought over 5 cars from Keyes Mercedes of Van Nuys. Buy your Mercedes somewhere else. Instead of fixing the problem they made my lemon car worse. More
Great customer service I really enjoy the service provided by Jerry, the test drive was very comfortable. He was very easy to talk to. Our interaction with Noel definitely I really enjoy the service provided by Jerry, the test drive was very comfortable. He was very easy to talk to. Our interaction with Noel definitely got us to drive out here and check out the car we purchased! Mike was making our stay enjoyable while we waited for the Finance Department.
