On Oct,13 2013, Appr. 7:10am, while driving 1100 miles from home, a "thump" noise, very noticeable as I kept driving, prompted me to stop, asap, at the nearest garage or dealership. Owning 2 other Ford ve from home, a "thump" noise, very noticeable as I kept driving, prompted me to stop, asap, at the nearest garage or dealership. Owning 2 other Ford vehicles & the fact that commercials, seen on TV, showing expert service, I decided to pull into the Ford dealership in Leesburg, FL. The fact that we were on our way to one of Florida's Fleamarkets & were following my GPS in an area we were unfamiliar with, also made the "FORD" sign, out by the highway, like we were back home & relieved a lot of tension, caused by the continuing and getting more rapid "thumping" noise. The dealership waiting area was open, fresh coffee being brewed by one of the employees, whom let me know that in a short time, I would be taken care of! A short time later, my Oldmobile was driven in through the shop, I was able to Rent a car, to get us to our destination, and was called at appr. 11am to let me know our vehicle was repaired. What a GREAT relief, to know that, you can be FAR from home & have a problem that can be resolved in a short time, still carry on with your daily routine & meet such GREAT people!!! Abbey was FANTASTIC, along with the lady at the cashiers window & the gentlemen that helped me with transferring my articles from my vehicle to the rental. Oddly enough, from all of the week we spent on vacation, the most memorable moment was our vehicle problem that became a 'Good" experience with GREAT PEOPLE we never knew before that day!! 5 star rating!!!! I am a tough negotiator, I purchase a 2012 Chrysler 300 from another dealer in June 2013 for my wife spent 3 hours of negotiating and could not make it work and walked out, the salesman ran after me and he from another dealer in June 2013 for my wife spent 3 hours of negotiating and could not make it work and walked out, the salesman ran after me and he had to eat crow before I would even consider purchasing from his establishment. I purchased a car in 2011 from another dealer which the 1st manager agreed to the terms, I went in the next day to pickup the vehicle and another manager thought my deal was," too good", and decided to eliminate the Certified warrantee, which I ripped up the contract and through it on his desk, they then agreed to the original agreement. I worked with Fred Almonte, his demeanor was I'm here to get you the vehicle you want, only if you want it. Fred never pressured the sale, he finessed it. I really think Fred enjoys creating a win - win situation. Fred did not stop when I wasn't hearing what I wanted to hear. He actually fought for my needs. I was so confident In Fred Almonte, that I explained what I would pay and the terms and condition of the sale, and it was up to him to make it happen. Fred was relentless, he kept telling me that I was going to get the vehicle that I wanted! We were too far off, I thought it would never happen, But it did! Frank Almonte got my price, terms and conditions, WOW! I couldn't believe it. Key Scales Ford has an Artist for a salesman, Mr Frederick Almonte !!! I had never had a sale experience quite like this before! I really think Fred liked what he is doing. He knows what he is doing, and it shows. Continue on Fred.... YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
