However, the next time I was there I was so pleased to deal with Brendan. He was polite, helpful & professional. He really made my experience there so much better & they are lucky to have him working with customers in the service dept. More
Technician Didn't know Severe Dry-Rot I brought my car to have a 4 wheel balance and alignment. While I have no problem with the service they performed or the price, I was quite upset to I brought my car to have a 4 wheel balance and alignment. While I have no problem with the service they performed or the price, I was quite upset to learn 2 weeks later that all four of my tires had significant dry-rot on the side walls. Obviously, I would have gotten a new set of tires before paying to balance and align the existing-rotted ones. I personally felt the technician should have notice the dry rot on at least 1 of the 4 tires and brought it to my attention. (Another technician noticed it immediately when simply changing out an old battery) More

All they did was a diagnostic and told me what I already know and charged me $110.00. Really? Never again will I step foot in this dealership. They are a complete rip off. More
I had the truck towed to the dealer and they charged me $186 to diagnose the problem. They said the PCM ( power control module )computer was bad and the part alone was $831. He said the PCM had been worked on before and there were metal filings inside from someone working on it. The PCM had been changed a few years before by another dealer so I smelled a rat and ordered a replacement PCM from a third source. I replaced the PCM in their parking lot in 4 minutes flat and the truck would still not start. I towed the truck to another service center and they replaced the injector control module and the truck ran fine with the original PCM. I opened the PCM up when I had it out of the vehicle and it is nothing more than a single PC board sealed with clear silicone, no metal filing and no evidence of filing. The part was just like new. There was nothing filed anywhere. More

I actually delayed calling for the repair appointment because it is usually very inconvenient. I knew specifically what part needed to be replaced and made the initial call to check if the part was available and what the cost would be. I spoke with Mike. Even though it was apparent that he was very busy, he was extremely nice and apologetic, asking if he could call me back in a few minutes with the information. When he called back, he not only had the information i needed, but worked with me around my schedule to actually get my car in that day! I was very pleased that i was able to bring the car in at about 5pm without having to rearrange my schedule. The part being replaced was the blend door actuator, which requires the entire dashboard be removed in order to replace it. I never expected to have it back the same day. I spoke with Mike again. He didn't make any false promises, just told me they would do their best and it would possibly be the next day, which was fine. Mike was in touch with me twice during the repair to advise me of a small problem that was found and taken care of. Less than 3 hours after I dropped the car off, Mike called to say everything was all set and the car was ready! I was amazed! I have since referred a friend to your service department, and he received exceptional service as well. I have never written a review on any product or service before, and I usually avoid doing surveys if at all possible. I arrived home last week to a message on my answering machine that Salem Ford was calling to do a survey. I was hoping they would try again, but didn't receive another call to participate. I took the time to write this review, because the staff in the service department took the time to provide exceptional customer service. Thank You More
am totally dissatisfied with this facility. i went there per my ins company first mistake, i had a broken tail light and bumper. i had to bring it back on 2 occassions to have it repaired. the light was loo per my ins company first mistake, i had a broken tail light and bumper. i had to bring it back on 2 occassions to have it repaired. the light was loose and the bumper was not on the right way. and i was told by the colision center that "that is the way it is suppose to be" now keep in mind this car was only 5 months old. and i am not some dumb female which is how i was treated. funny thing i brought it back to where i brought the car another ford dealership and they just shook their head and said NO this isnt the way it is suppose to be at all. I even looked at several new vehicles and wiggled the lights and they were in there the right way. Funny thing the other dealership fixed it and noted there was a faulty part in the light. and salem buffed out my car to make me feel better and ended up going too far down and scratched my car in several spots. so the paint is missing. and they said that is normal as well. WRONG! never go there again. and despites my efforts of talking to the mgr in charge and complaining about it, i got no feedback at all. no call to say sorry is there something we can do etc. NOTHING! very bad customer service that is for sure! treated like i didn't know anything at all about cars and car parts. Little did they know i use to sell cars for a living for years and was top rated at a dealership so sorry guys i KNOW what i am talking about! More
Excellent service. did a job for $2700 plus. Took 2 days. got all of it done. Pricey, but car drives much better, feels like brand new. As a courtesy, gave me a free wash, I guess because of a lot of smud got all of it done. Pricey, but car drives much better, feels like brand new. I was treated the best of any ford dealer I have ever been too. My escape was taken in 9:00 am and was ready by 8:30 pm the sameday.The next day I took my grandsons car in for tuneup,brakes and other re been too. SUE kept me informed as to the repairs and the price. I'll be bring my seven ford auto there from now on. My new cars will come from salem ford. Thanks for the great service. The service department is awesome they got out of their way to make sure you are satisfied you feel very confident when you get your vehicle serviced or repair that things will be done the right way. A little while a go i was stranded with my Ford Escape on my way to Montreal on a Saturday morning at least 2 hours away from the dealership i called up Joe Spivey the service Manager he immediately contacted his service department and they got back to me within minutes and got me out of a jam so i was able to go on with my trip. Came in next Monday morning and they did the repairs i needed they saved my trip Many Thanks.. More
I have been going there for car repairs and maintenance on my Hyundai Sonata 2006 for over 2 years. Due to recent problems with last 4 months visits I will no longer be bringing my car there. They took 1.5 hours to do a pre-scheduled oil change that they normally do in 35 min., they snapped of engine cover bolts two separate times and failed to notify me (I discovered this when I opened my hood). Also, they falsely informed me that I needed new breaks, when I set up an appointment to have this done they informed me that in actuality I had over 50% of my pads left. They told me I was due to have my belt changed when in reality I have a chain, not a belt. Lastly they over billed me 2.5 hours for a job that took them 1.5 hours from start to finish. Of the employees there that I've spoken with most come off as rude and agitated. I will say that Lee is extremely professional, informative, and honest. They will no longer be receiving my business.
