I just bought a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Limited Premium from Key Hyundai of Milford, CT. I am grateful with such a professional and dedicated staff. Matt Pereira in Sales and Manny Gonzalez in Finance worked around the clock to get me the vehicle I wanted. My option chosen White with Black Leather interior with NAV is one tough cookie to obtain. Understanding the difficulty of finding such option I settled for the choice available which was Silver with Silver/Black Interior. I must say I was impressed! who wants white? Silver is just as gorgeous on this car. They were courteous and kept me in tap for every step of the way. This has been my second car purchased at Key Hyundai of Milford in the past three years my last visit for purchase was in 2008 for an Elantra (even though all my services is done with timeliness here) and I must say the experience and professionalism has pushed the envelope and set a high ranking benchmark for the standard of customer service relations. Thank you Matt, Manny and Key Hyundai of Milford. Looking forward to my next purchase. More
Joe greeted me as I came in. I told him about the rudeness I had been dealing with at other dealers. He assured me that would not happen at Key. He was right. Matt went out of his way to make this happen for me!!!! Manny worked with me to get the finance plan that worked best for me. I felt these men really worked hard to make me happy with my purchase!! It was an awlful experience!!! I guess at Key Hyundai you are not allowed to go home and think about buying a car... The salesman said he needed his manager to come over and say hi to us. As we were sitting at a table just a few feet from the main desk we had to listen to the manager yell at the salesman for being unable "close the deal". It made us feel very uncomfortable. It wasn't the salesman fault, whom I won't mention for fear of him getting fired, we just needed some time to think it over. When the saleman came back he looked sad and upset. We asked who was yelling at him and he said that was his manager Sal. The only positive I can take away from the experience is that just before we left anather manager named Joe came over and was very nice and understood that we needed a couple days to figure out our finances. I will buy a Hyundai, but it won't be from Key Hyundai. It's sad, but I'm going to drive an additional 30 miles to the next Hyundai dealership. I hope to have a better experience there. More
We had visited 6 dealerships in 24 hours to get a lease for my 19 year old daughter. We ended up leasing a new 2011 Elantra. Our first experience with Key Hyundai was not good, we called from Branford Hyundai and asked if Key had a white Elantra with Black leather and we were told yes, come on down. I asked about 3 times if the lady who answered was sure because we didnt want to come down there for nothing. She assured me they had it and many more to look at. When we got to Milford Key Hyundai we found out they not only didnt have the car they promised us but they only had one limited Elantra on the lot. I was very pissed off and my daughter was very disappointed. Then came Anthony Walker, a very calm voice of reason with a personality that no one could be pissed off with. He was very sincere with his apology on behalf of Key Hyundai and he said he would do everything he could do make a mends. He showed us the only limited Elantra on the lot a gray with grey leather car. My daughter loved it. If not for Anthony not only would I have left the lot but I am president of a Union and I would have made sure I let everyone know what a bad experience we had, but because of Anthony I will go out of my way to send my 850 members to Key Hyundai of Milford. Wasn't too sure about buying a new car-- as I had a lot of credit issues. I had spoken with Jemma several times on the phone, and stressed my concerns very much to her. She advised me that they work with people, and help people with credit issues, and that there shouldn't be any problems. I finally got up the nerve to go in (by the way I HATE pushy sales men!) and was dreading it... I do not like sales people as I find them pushy. We met Jeff, who was awesome! He literally went through everything... A to Z. We met Manny, who explained everything A to Z.... They worked so hard to get me into a car, and they did! A car that I am 100% happy with for the 2 days I have had it. I love it! More
We contacted this dealership by phone with a request for a price match from a Georgia dealer. We were dealing with Tom, and it involved over a week between weather and locating the desired vehicle. Next call we had a new price from a paramus dealer, and again asked about the price match. Now there was a problem, and he was not available, and would hand us over to Anthony. Anthony said he would check on the price match. Next call was from Joe who told us the guaranteed price we had from the internet was not a real price. Paramas was sale priced at 23,400, and he offered the car at 24,200...we asked for an out the door price, and when it was sent to us, the starting price was 24,448....since the color of the car was extremely hard to find, and the free tires and batteries for the life of the car, we agreed. When we arrived to pick up the car, it was the Paramus car!!...We now dealt only with Anthony who was a lovely person. The detailing of the car was not complete....wind screen not installed, floor mats were missing, and it took hours, even though this was a cash deal. We were told that the free tires and batteries and engine guarantees from the dealership where dependent on an adjusted maintenance schedule; while the manufacturer requires 7500 mile servicing, this dealership told us 3000 or no guaranteed battery/tires. We found Anthony and the finace gentleman to be very personable, but did not like dealing with multiple people, none who seemed able to decide on a price. Seemed well rehearsed routine. We will come again, but we will not be fixated on a specific vehicle. More
After having a bad experience with honda I saw that hyundai had great deals so I went through and got the car I wanted right off the bat. The sales rep. Tommy Ortiz was very professional and curteous. He made me feel that i was picking the right car. As for the rest of the staff there,most of the sales reps were talking to each other whil curteous. He made me feel that i was picking the right car. As for the rest of the staff there,most of the sales reps were talking to each other while I was waiting over an hour before processing my paper work, not one asked if I needed to be helped or being taken care of. It actually made me feel like i was invisible and not important. IN the process i was given a loaner car until my car came in which I thought was GREAT. I had to come after the time that my sales rep wasn't going to be there. He told me that everything was setup and I just needed to pick up the loaner. WHen i got there I waited over an hour and a half to have some one put dealer plates on the loaner carin which was waiting for me. Sales rep were more interested in helping other potential new buyers. I think that was unacceptable. But Tommy Ortiz was Great as well as the finance manager i dealt with. More

The Milford dealership made this purchase the best one yet. I will return when its time to purchase another car. All my service will be done there. The ONLY cars I have purchased are Hyundai's and that will remain. I want to thank everyone at KEY HYUNDAI for making this experience so relaxed and less anxious in such a tough financial time. On the finance side of things, nobody tried to pressure us or give us a million convoluted scenarios for financing the car. They researched a few options and I was able to choose one that best fit me. The lifetime guarantee, tire/battery replacement and 5 year road side assistance were great features. The 2011 Hyundai Elantra looks great inside and out and the gas mileage numbers are great. I do have to go back to touch up the paint because I noticed a few chips on the inside of the door today, but I'm sure service/sales will be very helpful. More
