My Wife and i Purchased a 2024 GMC Yukon from Key in South Burlington. Things went well u8ntil 2 weeks after the purchase. Key sent the wrong payout amount and when the bank tried reaching them leaving South Burlington. Things went well u8ntil 2 weeks after the purchase. Key sent the wrong payout amount and when the bank tried reaching them leaving 2 messages nothing was done. We even spoke with the salesman and was assured everything was correct. 2 weeks after our purchase we paid the remaining amount that was Keys responsibility. Very disappointed in the dealership. More
This is an update to my original post, my 2019 acadia that we bought brand new in 2021 it was in their lot for 2 years and brand new, the battery died in 2023 they replaced it under warranty months later that we bought brand new in 2021 it was in their lot for 2 years and brand new, the battery died in 2023 they replaced it under warranty months later the battery was dead again their service department looked at it and replaced the battery and the technician wrote that we needed to put a charger on it as we don't drive it enough we had over 20,000 miles on it in 2 years. They charged me for that battery and the service department to the tune of 665.00 dollars after haggling them they credited me the 204 dollars for the battery that was less than 2 years old. To update about the dead battery problem it died again less than a week later they eventually found a bad connection where a harness connects to another harness caused by a water leak on it. This vehicle is now 3 years old and has had 3 batteries in 3 years and cost us over 400 dollars for a bad diagnosis, we are retired and living on a fixed income 441 dollars was not in our budget, i'm sure we won't be purchasing from them again. Shady business practices. I settled on a price with a salesman for a vehicle that was in transit. I planned to pay cash. I told them I would pay up front but all they offered for a receipt was the signed quote by the sales person and they wanted a cash transfer. I was not comfortable with that. I asked about a down payment and they said they did not do down payments. They had offered home delivery and I told them I would wait for that and pay in full upon delivery. The next week the sales person called and said the vehicle still was not in but they had another one for a few thousand dollars more. I told him I would wait for the car that we had agreed upon. After another week or two I contact them to see where the vehicle was. They said somebody had come in and paid for it and they had sold it. I asked why they did not contact me before selling the vehicle? I did not receive an answer. I told them I did not think that was a very sound business practice. I asked them to replace the vehicle with a similar model. They said they were unable to do that and there were only the more expensive models available. More
I spent Labor Day looking at trucks. I drove to their sister store in white river to look at a truck that I liked. Do not bring your vehicle here for maintenance. They charged $400 in labor to change a battery. The same battery that costs $110 they charged $188 for plus charged to dispose of the battery an addi They charged $400 in labor to change a battery. The grand total these folks scammed us of $642. Bought the vehicle from this place and will not ever return. More
