Per him a truck I was looking at was sold to another dealer while I was at the dealership. Once I left I contacted the dealership to let management know how displeased I was and how dirty of a move o think they made. Larry Simun the General Manager took over and had me come in. He spoke with me gave me a new salesman to work with by the name of Jon Marcus and we were able to make a deal. I can recommend doing business with them but only if you deal with the right people. 6 hours ago I would've told you to stay as far as possible but Larry and Jon did a good job of righting a wrong. I have bought three trucks here and am very pleased. I just bought my third truck at Kevin Whitaker and they have been really good to work with every time. Steve Knatzka is my go to guy but he was not in on the day I came in and made the most recent purchase, but Kevin's daughter Sarah helped me and did a fantastic job too. Steve followed up the next day as well. I work in sales and some salespeople are just selfish jerks out to make a buck no matter what, but Steve has always been straight forward and honest. Not pushy at all and worked very hard to make a deal that I was happy with. Sarah did a great job too so give them a chance and ask for one of these folks. More

Service depa Sales department is amazing. Service department is the worst I've ever been to. I will go to a meineke before I step foot in there again. Service department is very confused and can not get it right. Management is even worse. Will make sure I tell all my friends and coworkers. Our 3 Chevy's will go somewhere else. More

2008 Corvette purchase. Trandmission slipping no fix Purchased 29, 000.00 dollar Corvette and before second payment on car transmission is slipping. Service department says they don't know how to fix it? Purchased 29, 000.00 dollar Corvette and before second payment on car transmission is slipping. Service department says they don't know how to fix it? I put less than 500 miles on car since purchase. After going to the Bbb they agreed to look at the car. Kept it over a week and did absolutley nothing. Ripped off. More
Service advisor attempted to rip me off. I've purchased 7 cars from KW Chevy in 16 years. Fortunately I've only used the service dept. twice out of warranty. My 2002 Camaro's battery died rec I've purchased 7 cars from KW Chevy in 16 years. Fortunately I've only used the service dept. twice out of warranty. My 2002 Camaro's battery died recently and caused the anti-theft feature in the radio to activate. It's thinks the radio is being stolen so it locks everything and the radio won't work. I couldn't recall the access code to unlock the radio. The owners manual says to visit the dealer as they can unlock it. I dropped by KW's and before I finished explaining my problem the female at the service desk told me it would take one hour in the shop and cost $110 because they "do not have the codes". I said no thanks. At home my son suggested checking the internet. I googled "unlocking Monsoon radio". Instantly I saw there are several forums discussing this. I watched a 6 minute youtube video. I then went to the car and in 3 minutes I had retrieved factory codes from my radio, made a toll-free call to GM, entered the codes from my radio over the phone, received the unlock code from GM, entered the unlock code into my radio, and was listening to the radio. Total time including the video and phone call was less than 10 minutes to solve my problem!!! The dealership could probably do it in 3 minutes because the shouldn't need to watch the video. If it's all over the internet the dealer knows it, too. I feel she looked right at me and lied! Not one hour and certainly not worth $110. If you're not having warranty work done be careful. You'll probably pay too much. More

worse car buying experience I purchased a used truck here in August and was really disappointed in the way I was treated then and now. The sales rep took me to a residential neig I purchased a used truck here in August and was really disappointed in the way I was treated then and now. The sales rep took me to a residential neighborhood for my test drives both times and I didn't realize it at the time but it seems very coincidental now. The transmission began failing shortly after I purchased this truck with it slipping as it went into higher gears, hence the neighborhood drive so I never got it above 3rd gear. There appeared to be other attempts made by this dealership to conceal the problems with this truck from me. New tires to increase road noise so one couldn't hear the engine at speed and an additive to the oil to quiet the engine some. Very shady dealings indeed. I was told by the manager just recently after I complained about the on going issues that "I should have my lawyer contact theirs". I will be filing a complaint with the B.B.B and would suggest that anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to shop elsewhere. I got really screwed and this lemon of a vehicle supposedly passed the Kevin Whitaker inspection process which either tells me they are dishonest or incompetent. Either way save yourself from a similar experience. DON'T BUY A LEMON FROM Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet Cadillac 2320 Laurens Rd Greenville, SC 29607 More
