BUYER BEWARE if purchasing used vehicle! !!! Was looking for a Jeep for my 18 year old son. Wanted to buy from a dealership since purchasing used. I felt that a reputable dealer would take !!! Was looking for a Jeep for my 18 year old son. Wanted to buy from a dealership since purchasing used. I felt that a reputable dealer would take pride in selling even if the vehicle was used. Not this dealer. I understand as is with no warranty but a dealer should not sell to someone knowing there is extreme rust to undercarriage and engine bolts. We purchased a low mileage 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport in April of this year. Small issue with ABS light recently so took it to my mechanic. He could not believe a reputable dealer sold this Jeep to anyone with the rust issues to the undercarriage and engine bolts. Recommendation from mechanic was to get rid of it quick. Will cost a fortune in the near future if we don’t. I am a single Mom who knows nothing about these kind of things which is why I purchased from what I thought was a reputable dealer. No, they are just out for money. I expected small issues since purchasing used but nothing like this. My mechanic was 2 hours away so I couldn’t take it to him prior to purchasing, but again buying from a so called reputable dealer with their own mechanics I did not worry so much. BIG MISTAKE!!! Will not happen again! Do not purchase a used vehicle from this dealership they are not honest people only out to make money! STAY AWAY!!!! And yes they also provided a excellent carfax report. Go figure! Again my mechanic was in disbelief knowing they inspected this vehicle prior to selling to us. Please stay away and do not trust this dealership I beg you don’t make the same mistake we did!!! This was a lesson as a single mother I could not afford. I had been saving for this purchase for 10 years and what should have been a memorable experience for us has turned into a nightmare!!!!!!!!! More

Dishonest, incompetent, lazy. Exhaust manifold bolts broke on driver's side of 2017 Ram 1500. David called me after they had the truck for 1.5 hrs and told me that 3 were broken Exhaust manifold bolts broke on driver's side of 2017 Ram 1500. David called me after they had the truck for 1.5 hrs and told me that 3 were broken on drivers (I had told them the side and qty), and he told me the pass side had 2 broke bolts. I inspected the pass side before taking it in, did not find any broken bolts, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. David said the cost and time to fix is 150 for 2.5 hrs. I understood 150 is what would be expected. I tried to clarify and he doubled down on what he said. He neglected to say that I had a deductible. He wasn't clear the cost was 150/hr. The bill was 515. He said my service contract doesn't pay for labor, and labor is 2.5 hrs. What he was talking about was the fastener removal (broken fasteners needed removed). The remaining work would be 4 hrs (covered by contract). This phone call was at 11:00AM. He approved the 4 hrs with my service contract company, he told me about the 2.5 hr bolt extraction, so we're at 6.5 hrs. I only knew of the 2.5. The service center closes at 5:30, exactly 6.5 away. I asked if I could get a loaner vehicle (covered by contract) and he laughed at the idea. "The truck will be done today!" Silly me, of course it would be. I was told about the 2.5 hrs, not the 6.5. Well, it was not, and David didn't bother calling to let me know it wouldn't be. All day and evening I had no vehicle. David knew it wouldn't be finished the same day; he had 6.5 hrs in front of him. He lied to me. I thought that surely I would receive a call the next morning, first thing, but after waiting more than two hours I had to be the one to break the silence and call. David told me "I'm looking at it right now as it's in the air. It's being worked on!" He told me that the truck would be completed by 1:30 PM 'ish. I asked why it wasn't finished the day before. He told me that he didn't know how late the technician would get around to looking at it. I guess it's unreasonable to expect David to verify anything. Well we hung up and he called back 10 minutes later to tell me the truck was finished. Extraordinary! Why did he say 1:30? What did he base that on, 2.5 hrs again? Obviously he just guessed. He didn't care. Also, he incorrectly told me what they were going to do to my truck when we spoke the day before. I said "what's the fix?" He said "replace gasket and fasteners". I asked "just the gasket and fasteners? Is the thought that the gasket can seal up the additional gap with the warped manifold?" He said, "It says in my service bulletin that the fix is to replace the gasket and fasteners." He didn't bother with actually figuring out what his technician would do. He decided to say, with confidence, the gasket and fasteners were all that would be replaced. I thought 'well at least I'll still have the warped manifold, and they'll drill out the fasteners so I won't have to do it. And it's only $150.' (whoops) Keeping the original manifold was important to me, because through my research of the issue I learned that the best fix for this issue is to take the warped manifold to a machinist and have them face off the mating surface. New manifolds warp, but they warp up to a point. A warped manifold can be corrected. A new manifold will likely warp again, breaking bolts. So if I still had an exhaust leak, I can easily take the manifolds off and to a machine shop. $150 to drill out fasteners was already worth it to me. Well they replaced fasteners, gasket, manifolds, and added manifold tie bars (I had to get under my car to learn about then). Manifold is the same design as before. It will likely warp again. The tie bars prevent bolts from breaking, by restricting manifold movement. By doing this, the manifold cracks! So I won't have to drill out fasteners, but I will start going through manifolds (over $200 per) and you can't face off a manifold that's cracked. I asked if new manifold was an improved design, and David said "Yes". xxxxxxxx. More
