This was my first service on my new 2024 Mazda CX-50. When it was purchased we were automatically setup with our first oil change service based on the months it would be owned. They told us to call if we weren't at 7,000 miles at that point and we could just reschedule our oil change. So when the time came, we called and they said no problem, no need to reschedule a date just call or stop in when you are at 7,000 miles it will be no problem. So, during the spring depending on temperature I started to get a low tire warning light. It would toggle between 29-31lbs depending on the temperature outside. So I figured it wasn't a crisis so I would see if it could hold out until the first oil change since the tires have nitrogen in them and not just regular air (so I can't just stop and air my tires on my own). So yesterday I was going past the dealer (who is typically 1/2 hour+ from my house) and thought to stop in because I was in the area to get my tire situation taken care of. Antonio at the service desk said he could take care of that no problem. I also asked about scheduling an oil change because I was at 6,356 miles. He informed me that the oil should be done by every 5,000 miles. I was very upset because whoever cancelled my original appointment told me differently and NOW I was almost 1,400 miles past my first oil change requirement! So he also said he could put us in for an oil change while we were there if we didn't mind waiting. So we did. Everything seemed to go smoothly until this morning when I get in to go to work and I get a low tire warning light! My "low tire" that was the original reason I stopped in the first place was never done! i am beyond pissed this morning. We are leaving tomorrow on a 7 hour round trip and now I have to make special arrangements to go BACK to the dealer for this xxxx nitrogen in my tire. This was the MAIN REASON I stopped in the first place. At this point, was the oil even changed??? Who knows! This is NOT the level of service I expect to cone from this dealership. They will be getting a call when they open today. The only reason I am giving 2 stars for this review is because they did offer to get us a same day oil change while we were there. Otherwise it would have been a 1 star. I am NOT a very happy customer at this point. More
