Sales awesome, service not so much Buying my Miata was a smooth transaction. My 1 star rating is for service. The star is because they were fast. I was supposed to get my first oil change free, they give this tiny piece of paper as a coupon when you buy your car and you have to have it with you at time of service. This tells me they want you to lose it so you have to pay. I paid. Every other dealership I bought a new car from has all the purchase perks on their computer and have records of everything...no need for a piece of paper coupon. When I bring my car in for service they bring it all up on their computer. The people barely spoke to you and what was said was mumbled incoherently. No one explained the invoice; because nowadays, invoices ad and subtract various amounts to come up with a random total. Apparently I was charged an extra $21 to check over everything inorder for them to honor their "Kenny Ross" warranty. Mind you what they charged extra for is standard for an oil change with every other dealership I have been to. They did not ask me if I wanted to pay extra. Also they did not rotate my tires, which my Chevy dealership does with an oil change when you buy a car from them. The service department is not connected to the dealership, it is off site and very unimpressive. I drove 2 hrs for this service. My son lives locally and was going to combine a visit with inspection/oil change. The inspection was "free" however they did charge $8 for the sticker. Again I have never paid a dime for my complimentary inspection from any other dealership. All in all I would say service is scratchy with hidden fees you are not informed of prior to service. Find another Mazda dealership for service. More
