Five stars for Greg the service manager and Scott the assistant service manager with Kenny Ross Ford. Three stars for Ford Corporation. Greg and Scott both put forth a great effort in resolving the trans assistant service manager with Kenny Ross Ford. Three stars for Ford Corporation. Greg and Scott both put forth a great effort in resolving the transmission issue with my 2018 Ford F150. After a recommended transmission flush at just under 60K miles my truck quickly developed serious shifting issues and was becoming unsafe to drive. The truck was returned to the shop and found to be 1 quart low on transmission fluid. It was filled and reported that it was road tested and said to be shifting okay. I found that the problem was not resolved and contacted the service department again. Greg had the for sight to anticipate a serious issue and quickly set me up with a loaner vehicle and got my truck into the shop. Scott kept me well informed of the status of the repair. As was reported to me, a series of tests were performed that eventually led to to the root of the problem which was a CDF clutch failure. After replacing the CDF drum which I have out to be a known defect that Ford knows about, the truck was still throwing codes. The garage proceeded with replacing the solenoid / valve assembly which again did not resolve the problem. A Ford service tech was called in to examine the unit and found an imperfection in the new CDF drum. A second drum was ordered and installed and this "so far" has seemed to resolve the problem. A sincere thank you to Greg and Scott for their efforts in seeing to that the transmission in my truck was to the absolute best of their knowledge properly repaired. Thanks again to Greg and Scott for seeking financial help from Ford and from the outfit that performed the transmission flush initially to help cover the cost of this very expensive repair. By complaint has nothing to do with Kenny Ross Ford. My complaint is directly with Ford Motor Company. It is my understanding that it is a known problem with the ten speed transmission used in these and other vehicles that a seal / bushing is poorly fitted with no means to prevent it from moving and in turn causes the failure that I experienced. I feel that Ford is well aware of this issue and that Ford also feels that in many cases including mine that the drive train warranty will have expired and that they are not responsible for the repair of their faulty design. While Ford did give an allowance of $1500 towards the repair, and I was told that the company that did the transmission flush contributed $1000, I was still responsible for an additional $1400 and Kenny Ross took it on the chin for the solenoid / valve body assembly. These premium vehicles come with premium price tags. For the price paid, I expected to receive a product that would be free from major defects for the majority of the serviceable life of the vehicle. 60K miles is far from the vehicle life expectancy of 150 - 200k miles when properly cared for. So in closing, I again want to thank Greg and Scott at Kenny Ross Ford for the trials and efforts they put forth in getting my truck repaired. I want to admonish Ford Motor company for producing and continuing to use a a major component with a know fault. I certainly hope that this message is seen by management at Ford Motor Company. It is wrong, that I consumer must pay for your error. Step up and cover the full cost of this repair. I have owned and operated Ford vehicles since 1979. The 79 was a pretty toy that was stolen and I still have the 2nd truck that I purchased new, a 1984 F250. My faith in Ford has been deeply damaged. Sincerely Mark Comini mark.comini@gmail.com More

Sales great. Service is terrible!! I purchased a higher end truck and have issues from day 1. Bug deflector they put on doesn't fit properly, hood scoops are w Service is terrible!! I purchased a higher end truck and have issues from day 1. Bug deflector they put on doesn't fit properly, hood scoops are warped, tire/rim leak air, door handle was delivered scratched. This has been going on for a year or better. The service advisors want to do the right thing but are constantly held up by Greg Kuzyck (service manager). Nice guy but doesn't get any results and never has answers. Hood scoop factory issue from day 1 never fixed, door handle day 1 never fixed but tried the cheap route of buffing it out. Bug deflector poor install never fixed day 1. Tire/rim day one and tried to put a sealer even though they say some of those rims are warped and will not seal. Should have ordered a new tire and rim has not. I ordered 1 FROM GREG so that I had a spare and it came in within 3 weeks but the one that he was to order for a year has not. Nice guy but ZERO results. Sales dept is great, parts great and service advisors great....Greg seems to slow them down and hold them back from being a good department. Sorry just the truth. More
