He was noticeably rude to some of the younger employees (I'm sure he thought no one was looking). He then changed his face for us. We saw right through his pompous weasel like xx, and will buy elsewhere. Doesn't surprise me that another customer had a poor experience with this guy. They have nice inventory though. Just a shame. Bad customer service, bad sales experience Let me say that maybe a perfect storm of events led to my distasteful experience with Kendall VW, and that maybe my experience is not how all customer Let me say that maybe a perfect storm of events led to my distasteful experience with Kendall VW, and that maybe my experience is not how all customers are treated here. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with the level of service I received. I had contacted Kendall VW looking for the new 2015 MK7 GTI, and was eventually paired up with a salesman named Larry Russell there. The whole time during our back and forth, I was the one pushing the sale the whole time. Just try to imagine a scenario where you are more pushy than a car salesman. I was getting excuses left and right from this guy, saying his email servers were down and that's why he didn't get back to me; so on and so forth. Eventually, I was able to nudge this guy into offering me the sale at a price I liked. I sent over my PERSONAL information (SS#, Drivers License information, insurance information, etc..) so he could draft a purchasing agreement. A few days go by with no response, so I send him an email asking for a progress update. He gets back to me saying the finance team is working slowly and he'll surely send it out to me that same day. Days go by with no word back. I eventually start looking at other dealers because I'm fed up with being given the run around. I found a different dealer close to me (the VW in Medford), who not only provided better customer service, but beat the quoted price I was given at Kendall VW! They sent over the purchasing agreement without hesitation, I signed the agreement and a deal was set in place for me to come pick it up. About a week and a half later, Larry contacts me again saying he sent me the purchasing agreement and wanted to see what was up. At this point, I'm thinking that he may have thought he could get a better sale price from another customer and wanted to play the field to see if he could get a bigger commission only to fail and come crawling back to me. I told him that it was his fault I went somewhere else and that his lack of customer service led to my sale leaving his dealership. To top it off, I emailed the GM there named David Thompson to express my bad experience, only to never get a response back from him! From my experience, I could only conclude that bad customer service must run rampant there. More
Good experience buying cars and getting service, but a disaster doing a trade in. Received high-pressure sales with the addition of the accusation of dishonesty on our part, in spite of evidence. In or disaster doing a trade in. Received high-pressure sales with the addition of the accusation of dishonesty on our part, in spite of evidence. In order to drive down trade-in price they were insulting, unprofessional, and fabricated non existing problems. They made up issue of non existent Car Fax report and refused to admit errors, and insisted that new, beautiful paint job made car suspicious. More
Carrera Motors- what separates them from other dealers? After care customer service. Talk to dan Horton, the GM regarding any concerns and they will be addressed. After care customer service. Talk to dan Horton, the GM regarding any concerns and they will be addressed. More
Replaced A/C, water pump & serpentine belt. Failed to tighten pullys and belt came off in less than a mile from the shop. Cheerfully (?) replaced the water pump & belt again. Eurovan in shop three days w tighten pullys and belt came off in less than a mile from the shop. Cheerfully (?) replaced the water pump & belt again. Eurovan in shop three days waiting for a new pully. Seems to be OK now after 10K miles. VW would not cover cost of repairs even though van only 600 miles over warranty mileage. More
